He wears the typical standard issued Shinigami robes with the exception of a few modifications. His obi is that of a very long elegant white sash that is obviously different from the standard issued one, woven entirely from silk. He wears a flowing emerald green haori embellished with symbols of dragons and various other beautiful swirling designs stretching across the length of his back. The trim is that of a fine golden ribbon. Over that haori, he wears the standard issued Captain's Haori, which is also modified to have a crimson flame looking trim running along the bottom. He wears hairpins in his hair to keep his black hair from falling in front of his eyes during battle. All of these elegant garments along with his uniform are meant to identify his noble nature.

History:
• Born as a member of the Shiba Noble Family, Raine quickly took up the tradition of becoming a shinigami like his deceased father, Kaien Shiba (His mother being Miyako). He never really knew his parents, as they both died shortly after his birth, but it is apparent he loved them dearly. He grew up with Kukaku and Ganju. As a child, he was trained in sword fighting and several different combat and leisure arts, such as sword training, hand-to-hand combat, and several lessons on painting. When he was considered "old enough" he trained in the Academy in Soul Soceity, an excellent student in most areas except kidou, which he required much work to sustain his overwhelming attacks. Much later, after he perfected most of his skills, gaining special training on shunpo. He was first introduced to his spirit within, his zanpakuto... Hisuitsuki and Hisuitaiyou. At first he started off in the 13th Division, working as a regular-class Shinigami, before he was then moved over to 9th when he expressed interest in working for the Sereitei Communications Monthly. He upranked quickly and over time, became a lieutenant of the 9th division. During his time there, Raine was a very skilled fighter, especially when wielding his zanpakuto. He specialized in Zanjutsu primarily and ranged his attack specialties in fireworks and sword abilities. He worked diligently to restore the Noble title of the Shiba Clan, and spent tireless hours attempting to perfect techniques, often neglecting his paperwork- to his Captains' annoyance. There was no one around to tell him about the child, and Raine immediately took on the role of a father- allowing the child into his home. He gave the boy the name "Tsukiya". Now interested in the origin of his new son, he brought the child to Twelfth Division to test and see if Tsukiya was indeed Raine's son. The tests proved positive, and Raine had them immediately begin to seek the mother from that day. A house was purchased in Karakura Town to keep Tsukiya initially safe, though this turned out to be a decision he'd come to regret. More than over a decade later, he constantly badgers Tsukiya about returning to the Soul Society- aside from just the frequent visits, and join the Gotei 13.
─Zanpakuto Information {Sealed}─
Zanpakuto Name: Hisuihikari
• Raine's zanpakuto consists of two conjoined zanpakuto spirits. So he will either call one or the other, or both as Hisuihikari
Two names: Hisuitsuki or Hisuitaiyou
When merged: Hisuihikari (Jade Light)
Raine has dubbed Hisuitsuki "Emmy" and Hisuitaiyou "Jade" because of the resemblance either power has to the gems (Emmy being short for Emerald)
Zanpakuto Appearance: The unreleased Zanpakuto is a simple katana with a handguard that appears very much like two eyes on either side of the blade. The grip is a sage green color, and the blade is somwhat of a beige-silver color. It radiates light even as it is unreleased, though it is a mere, faint glow.
Zanpakuto Spirit: Two white zapakuto spirits with flowing white robes, they rarely expose themselves, and the both have dark, black sunken eyes... The female, Tsuki, controls the moonlight (moon) aspect of Raine's zanpakuto. Taiyou, the male, controls the daylight aspect (sun). Taiyou's left arm and Tsuki's right arm are conjoined through a circular portal... binding them forever as eternal lovers. Tsuki has long black winding hair and a serious expression. Taiyou has short blonde hair with a wide grin on his face. They both are dressed in white majestic robes, and they are barefoot.
Inner World:
Basic Zanpakuto Attacks/Powers: Raine can shift the color and lighting scale around him- warping it so that he can render himself invisible or so that he can generate copies of himself that are entirely light generated. ((He can create illusions with his light)). He cannot do any of the above listed if light is NOT present in his surroundings.

1:Hisuitsuki's attacks:. The three circular blades that hover around the sword are useful tools but only be used three times, as there are only three. Raine places his finger on the circular blade of his choice, and runs his finger along the side, causing it to spin, much like a top. The circular blade spins and gains more momentum, and in response, Raine slams the sword down against the ground, causing the circular disc blade to shoot forward as if they were a frisbee. This can slice easily through hollow flesh, but they can be deflected. They move extremely fast, bending the light around them. Raine only uses these discs for long range or for a last resort for attack, they are rarely used.
2:Hisuitaiyou's attacks: Raine, like his ability to bend light to his will, can control a large wave of green, plasma-like energy, whether in projectile form, arc form, or other methods of attack.
3: Hisuihikari's attacks: Both zanpakuto spirits attacks together, granting Raine the ability to use both attacks mentioned above simultaneously. Raine can also generate blinding light when the two have merged.
4: Light Manipulation: Raine's zanpakuto has a general sense of light manipulation, bending the color spectrum and altering reflections to generate optical illusions that cannot cause physical harm or do not have any physical manifestions. He can use this light manipulation to several different advantages.
─Zanpakuto Information {Bankai}─
Bankai Name: Kamihisuirin (Divine Jade Ring)
Zanpakuto Appearance {While Bankai is Active}:
• Raine's zanapakuto is simply a white glowing blade, and leaves behind a trail of varying shifting color behind him as he moves, for it is generating multiple color variations and light.
Bankai Appearance:
• From this point, the lighting of wherever they are gradually rises until it reaches the point where it is blinding, rendering it impossible for the opponent to see. Raine's eyes turn pitch black, enabling him to see within the light. Four massive columns, about the size of a skyscraper each, composed entirely of pure plasma form around Raine and his opponent, spinning around them to form a perfect circle. Raine's zanpakuto blade is coated entirely in the same green-plasma energy.

Bankai Attacks/Abilities:
1:Plasma Wave: The massive pillars of green plasma form together to create a massive wave of plasma in which Raine controls by swinging his blade. It moves like water, very flexible and fluid and can cover large masses. The plasma itself gives the opponent a burning sensation upon touch, and can slowly begin to drain reaitsu through the skin if one stays in it for too long. It is very caustic.
2:Light Dash-Cut: Raine will normally use light and invisibility to his advantage. He will dash very quickly using shunpo and his light, appearing on several sides around the opponent. Once he is complete, a sudden array of white streaks cut across the opponent. Raine moves at a mock light speed in this attack so his cuts even take a while to even slice the opponent. The opponent but has a few seconds to react before being sliced. He can do the same with light arcs, instead of slashes. The cuts are normally very long, though fairly shallow, though Raine is sure enough to cut the most vital parts of the body of his opponent.
3:Internal Collapse: Raine holds out his zanpakuto, drawing green reiatsu into himself as slowly, the large pillars of plasma compress together, sucking into one tiny sphere, about the size of a tennis ball. This ball is so compressed that it seems to be quivering with power, the pressure within it is enough to crush a city, and it is spewing rays of light left and right. The ball will phase into the opponent (If allowed via consent IM, PM, or OOC Chat) and it will sit around their heart, normally giving the opponent a very uncomfortable feeling. A small dome of soft green plasma will encircle the opponent, in which he touches light with his finger.
With that, Raine will command "Expand..." From that point, the ball within the opponent explodes outwards, (Raine will clear away from that distance) and a massive explosion will result, canceling the blinding light until Raine reactivates it. Normally this would blow a large hole or cavity into the opponent's chest, or it will in some cases eliminate the entire torso of the opponent itself. For opponents with massive reiatsu, they can block the worse damage but will not leave unscathed, internal bleeding is promised.
─Kidō Information─
Bakudō Level: Raine excels in this field. He is adept in generating defensive attacks that work to his own particular advantage. He utilizes them often in battle to throw off the enemy, but will not seek to use them constantly. The majority of his Bakudo spells are well casted and have a decent range. His skill level ranges up to the high eighties- touching the nineties, more than half of the amount of spells he is capable of doing for his Hado level.
Hadō Level: Raine is terrible in this field. His desires seem to range more in constructive rather than destructive techniques, and therefore cannot cast a single Hado spell without wreaking more havoc than he initially desires. His spells are uncoordinated and not controlled, and spew forth in random directions without seeking out the enemy. Raine can only reach up to about the 50th spell, and even then, with great difficulty in order to moderate the amount of his spiritual energy being fed into the attack simply to control the direction.
Yusō Chūdō Level: Would only ever know up to Level 4 in this particular field, has not explored anything beyond this.
Chiyu Chūdō Level: Raine always bore an interest in learning such a skill, but could never really find the time to learn anything aside from the very basic form- which does little to heal the target and only alleviates the pain.
Shien Hōhō Level: Raine's own dog is vaguely capable of doing something similar to this, offering support kido when he summons her. Raine himself is unable of doing any such techniques.
Hybrid Techniques: Like his Aunt, Raine is capable of generating firework-like energy which is similarly kido- reiatsu based. He utilizes this in battle to his own advantage.
Forbidden Kidō: None so far, though considering this to be a challenge, Raine still desires to learn such techniques.

He upranked quickly and over time, became a lieutenant of the 9th division. During his time there, Raine was a very skilled fighter, especially when wielding his zanpakuto. He specialized in Zanjutsu primarily and ranged his attack specialties in fireworks and sword abilities. He worked diligently to restore the Noble title of the Shiba Clan, and spent tireless hours attempting to perfect techniques, often neglecting his paperwork- to his Captains' annoyance. He worked beneath Ruka and Yuka until they were promoted to the Royal Guard. It did not take long after until Raine was promoted to Captain of Ninth Division. Late one evening- shortly after this, his door was knocked upon- and Raine opened the door to find a young child nestled within a bunch of blankets. It was an infant boy, with bright green hair like the very plasma of Raine's on zanpakuto. There was no one around to tell him about the child, and Raine immediately took on the role of a father- allowing the child into his home. He gave the boy the name "Tsukiya". Now interested in the origin of his new son, he brought the child to Twelfth Division to test and see if Tsukiya was indeed Raine's son. The tests proved positive, and Raine had them immediately begin to seek the mother from that day. A house was purchased in Karakura Town to keep Tsukiya initially safe, though this turned out to be a decision he'd come to regret. More than over a decade later, he constantly badgers Tsukiya about returning to the Soul Society- aside from just the frequent visits, and join the Gotei 13.

Zanpakuto Name: Hisuihikari
• Raine's zanpakuto consists of two conjoined zanpakuto spirits. So he will either call one or the other, or both as Hisuihikari

Raine has dubbed Hisuitsuki "Emmy" and Hisuitaiyou "Jade" because of the resemblance either power has to the gems (Emmy being short for Emerald)
Zanpakuto Appearance: The unreleased Zanpakuto is a simple katana with a handguard that appears very much like two eyes on either side of the blade. The grip is a sage green color, and the blade is somwhat of a beige-silver color. It radiates light even as it is unreleased, though it is a mere, faint glow.
Zanpakuto Spirit: Two white zapakuto spirits with flowing white robes, they rarely expose themselves, and the both have dark, black sunken eyes... The female, Tsuki, controls the moonlight (moon) aspect of Raine's zanpakuto. Taiyou, the male, controls the daylight aspect (sun). Taiyou's left arm and Tsuki's right arm are conjoined through a circular portal... binding them forever as eternal lovers. Tsuki has long black winding hair and a serious expression. Taiyou has short blonde hair with a wide grin on his face. They both are dressed in white majestic robes, and they are barefoot.
Inner World:
Basic Zanpakuto Attacks/Powers: Raine can shift the color and lighting scale around him- warping it so that he can render himself invisible or so that he can generate copies of himself that are entirely light generated. ((He can create illusions with his light)). He cannot do any of the above listed if light is NOT present in his surroundings.

1:Hisuitsuki's attacks:. The three circular blades that hover around the sword are useful tools but only be used three times, as there are only three. Raine places his finger on the circular blade of his choice, and runs his finger along the side, causing it to spin, much like a top. The circular blade spins and gains more momentum, and in response, Raine slams the sword down against the ground, causing the circular disc blade to shoot forward as if they were a frisbee. This can slice easily through hollow flesh, but they can be deflected. They move extremely fast, bending the light around them. Raine only uses these discs for long range or for a last resort for attack, they are rarely used.
2:Hisuitaiyou's attacks: Raine, like his ability to bend light to his will, can control a large wave of green, plasma-like energy, whether in projectile form, arc form, or other methods of attack.
3: Hisuihikari's attacks: Both zanpakuto spirits attacks together, granting Raine the ability to use both attacks mentioned above simultaneously. Raine can also generate blinding light when the two have merged.
4: Light Manipulation: Raine's zanpakuto has a general sense of light manipulation, bending the color spectrum and altering reflections to generate optical illusions that cannot cause physical harm or do not have any physical manifestions. He can use this light manipulation to several different advantages.

Bankai Name: Kamihisuirin (Divine Jade Ring)
Zanpakuto Appearance {While Bankai is Active}:
• Raine's zanapakuto is simply a white glowing blade, and leaves behind a trail of varying shifting color behind him as he moves, for it is generating multiple color variations and light.
Bankai Appearance:
• From this point, the lighting of wherever they are gradually rises until it reaches the point where it is blinding, rendering it impossible for the opponent to see. Raine's eyes turn pitch black, enabling him to see within the light. Four massive columns, about the size of a skyscraper each, composed entirely of pure plasma form around Raine and his opponent, spinning around them to form a perfect circle. Raine's zanpakuto blade is coated entirely in the same green-plasma energy.

Bankai Attacks/Abilities:
1:Plasma Wave: The massive pillars of green plasma form together to create a massive wave of plasma in which Raine controls by swinging his blade. It moves like water, very flexible and fluid and can cover large masses. The plasma itself gives the opponent a burning sensation upon touch, and can slowly begin to drain reaitsu through the skin if one stays in it for too long. It is very caustic.
2:Light Dash-Cut: Raine will normally use light and invisibility to his advantage. He will dash very quickly using shunpo and his light, appearing on several sides around the opponent. Once he is complete, a sudden array of white streaks cut across the opponent. Raine moves at a mock light speed in this attack so his cuts even take a while to even slice the opponent. The opponent but has a few seconds to react before being sliced. He can do the same with light arcs, instead of slashes. The cuts are normally very long, though fairly shallow, though Raine is sure enough to cut the most vital parts of the body of his opponent.
3:Internal Collapse: Raine holds out his zanpakuto, drawing green reiatsu into himself as slowly, the large pillars of plasma compress together, sucking into one tiny sphere, about the size of a tennis ball. This ball is so compressed that it seems to be quivering with power, the pressure within it is enough to crush a city, and it is spewing rays of light left and right. The ball will phase into the opponent (If allowed via consent IM, PM, or OOC Chat) and it will sit around their heart, normally giving the opponent a very uncomfortable feeling. A small dome of soft green plasma will encircle the opponent, in which he touches light with his finger.
With that, Raine will command "Expand..." From that point, the ball within the opponent explodes outwards, (Raine will clear away from that distance) and a massive explosion will result, canceling the blinding light until Raine reactivates it. Normally this would blow a large hole or cavity into the opponent's chest, or it will in some cases eliminate the entire torso of the opponent itself. For opponents with massive reiatsu, they can block the worse damage but will not leave unscathed, internal bleeding is promised.
─Kidō Information─
Bakudō Level: Raine excels in this field. He is adept in generating defensive attacks that work to his own particular advantage. He utilizes them often in battle to throw off the enemy, but will not seek to use them constantly. The majority of his Bakudo spells are well casted and have a decent range. His skill level ranges up to the high eighties- touching the nineties, more than half of the amount of spells he is capable of doing for his Hado level.
Hadō Level: Raine is terrible in this field. His desires seem to range more in constructive rather than destructive techniques, and therefore cannot cast a single Hado spell without wreaking more havoc than he initially desires. His spells are uncoordinated and not controlled, and spew forth in random directions without seeking out the enemy. Raine can only reach up to about the 50th spell, and even then, with great difficulty in order to moderate the amount of his spiritual energy being fed into the attack simply to control the direction.
Yusō Chūdō Level: Would only ever know up to Level 4 in this particular field, has not explored anything beyond this.
Chiyu Chūdō Level: Raine always bore an interest in learning such a skill, but could never really find the time to learn anything aside from the very basic form- which does little to heal the target and only alleviates the pain.
Shien Hōhō Level: Raine's own dog is vaguely capable of doing something similar to this, offering support kido when he summons her. Raine himself is unable of doing any such techniques.
Hybrid Techniques: Like his Aunt, Raine is capable of generating firework-like energy which is similarly kido- reiatsu based. He utilizes this in battle to his own advantage.
Forbidden Kidō: None so far, though considering this to be a challenge, Raine still desires to learn such techniques.

Raine knows Captain-Level Shunpo, and his light zanpakuto can aid him only slightly in his speed.

Raine is not a prodigy in this field, he knows basic hand-to-hand, but nothing particularly spectacular or out of the ordinary aside from his Shiba Super Punch. His previous Captain, Ruka Kusabana, often constantly trained him in this field, though she often won in such hand-to-hand training sessions.
Zanjutsu Level:
Extremely well, Raine has been practicing since childhood to improve his techniques in sword combat. His utter and complete devotion, along with concentration and known techniques make him quite a proficient opponent during a sword fight. He spends at least two to three hours daily in the gardens practicing his forms.

Intelligence: Raine is rather witty and clever, and he constantly seeks anything that will improve or challenge his mind. His interests lie in anything thought-provoking, and he will often project any intellect in his articles. He observes tactics in battles and use them to his advantage, and when he wants information, he will either trick the information out of the person, or solve the information by himself as an outside observer.
Athletic Skill: Average considered to others, though his body remains well toned, it is only due to his Zanjutsu training.
Strength: Average, Raine does not bear an interest in improving his strength unless it will ensure the safety of those he cares for.
Speed: Proficient. Raine's light based zanpakuto improves his movement. He is far from any kind of Flash-God, but he can manage to move relatively fast when he so desires.
Agility: Raine's agility is quite proficient, especially after having to train constantly with his Captains. Both being merciless, he had to develop a number of methods of maneuvering about the field.
Stamina: Raine's stamina (like his endurance) is increased the majority of the time. He constantly seeks method of improving his own lasting in battle to ensure he out-lasts the opponent.
Durability: Raine is known to be surprisingly durable in battle. He can take quite the beating before ever giving out, and it is mostly due to his determination and ability to keep away from deadly attacks that this is the case.
Endurance: Raine can last rather long in battle. He will fight until all of his possible techniques have been completely exhausted.
Flexibility: Raine is considered to be rather flexible, but only enough to allow full flowing movement with his zanpakuto. He is not able to perform half the movements a ballerina can- however.
Any Special Skills:
Shiba Super Punch:】Raine is capable of generating a firework based reiatsu that is trademark to his family. This can only really ever be used occasionally because he bears only slight traces of this. He uses it in a punch as a side tactic. When delivered, his fist erupts in explosive fireworks which he then uses to make his punches far more forceful and painful- dealing more damage than an average hit.
