QUESTLINE: Planting the trees As you walk around the reservation, you notice a few former War clan members squabbling amongst themselves. They seem to have dug several rather large, impressive holes.
"Did you bring any seeds?" The female clansmember seems extremely agitated, literally harping on the male. He in return, says nothing. "We need seeds of strong saplings, nothing else will support our huts."
She suddenly spots you. "'You there! Come here." She points the ground, where a few small seeds are buried." I need you to go to the Weeping Forest and find tree seeds exactly like these ones. We need to grow the strongest trees."
Before you can argue she points you in the direction of the Weeping Forest. Oh well, better get startedOOC - Roll a 100-sided dice and match your dice roll to the results below. Keep on rolling until you obtain at least 2 perfect seeds. You have completed the RP once you have fulfilled this requirement. - 1-20: The tree you manage to find and scale is weak and sickly. It does not seem like it will be suitable - 21 - 40: You find a particularly large tree, and rather nasty too, as it swings its branches, nearly disemboweling you on the spot. You manage to snag one seed from its branches before you have to flee away from it. +1 seed- 41 - 60: The tree seems to be very promising, but it seems to only be budding at the very very top. The branches are too dense to fly, so you take the dangerous trek of climbing up, but can only reach one seed before you fall back down. +1 seed-61 - 80: You look around, trying to find your way... you could have sworn you took this path before. You feel a little lost.... - 81 - 100: You see a suitable tree, but before you can grab at it, a minipet runs away with your find. Maybe you should find that minipet and skin it...

Sal looked around at the woman pointed at him, making sure there was nobody else in the area that she could have been talking to. When he saw nobody he ghosted his way over, leaning forward to see what it was she was pointing at. Seeds? He and plantlife never really got along, and there were others far better suited to the task she was asking of him. "Dear Lady, I---" All of his attempts to refute her were shot down, and in the end he closed his mouth and sighed, going to resign himself to the task.
"Well well, we meet again." He stared at the forest he'd mostly been shoved to, stroking his chin thoughtfully. He could do this. Really he could; how hard was it to find seeds in a forest? But, better to be safe than sorry...
With a flourish of robes Sal disappeared from the edge of the forest, wandering around the area that was decidedly NOT forest until he found who he was looking for, who was luckily just ahead of him. When he was close enough, he gave no greeting; he just grabbed the 'neck' of the closest precious from behind and just waited for the other to notice, that ever-pleasant fox-eyed smile present on his features.

"Erp," Fai said, stumbling backwards and turning to give the person foolish enough--"Oh," he said, giving Sal an irritated look. "And what have you gotten yourself into this time?"

"Hello, my dearest friend." Sal smiled sweetly to the irritated look he was getting, releasing precious and giving it a gentle pat regardless of if it bit him. "Ah~ You wound me!" His blood stained hand gripped the fabric above his heart for a moment, before it disappeared into his robes. "However, you mean what I've gotten us into this time~" A bloody hand gestured towards the weeping forest.
"They want us to find seeds." Well, they wanted him to find seeds. "For big, strong trees...and you are more knowledgeable about plants than I." Another gesture and he had turned, starting a slight walk towards the forest at a pace that encouraged Fai to follow. Which meant, in friends-with-Sal talk, please come with me.

"Reeealllly," Fai said thoughtfully. "And who wanted these seeds, can I ask?" he inquired. "Someone that you've just met and think will be useful in the future, perhaps? And I would offer my own seeds, but I would rather not. What type of trees exactly?"
In other words he was interested in spite of himself.

"You know me too well my friend." If Fai's comments were daggers, they'd be hitting his heart with every stroke. The Sage chuckled despite himself but continued walking; if the Alchemist wanted his answers, he'd just have to follow him.
"However I couldn't tell you who this one was. Someone from War Clan, I couldn't get a word in edgewise; I tried to tell her I was not the man for the job, but, well, War isn't known for patience." At least not in his mind. Under his robes his arms folded across his emaciated stomach, picking lightly at his own taunt skin. "As for the seeds---" He described them as best as he could from the short sight of them he could get. "--And they are apparently in the Weeping Forest."
By then he had gotten them to the edge of the forest itself, in near the same spot that the War Horsewoman had left him. A thin arm left the security of his robes only long enough to gesture into the odd place. "I need your expertise, Fai. To ensure I do not give them poor supplies for their rebuild." They need the best trees, or so she had growled.

81 - 100: You see a suitable tree, but before you can grab at it, a minipet runs away with your find. Maybe you should find that minipet and skin it...
"I see," he said, looking at the trees thoughtfully as they headed into the forest. "Like that seed right there?" he added, pointing. It was almost astonishing that he could see the seed from such a distance, but this was Fai. He probably saw seeds in his sleep. "And how many seeds did you promise--"
He was walking towards the seed as he spoke, a leisurely pace that showed he didn't mind the idea of spending the day like this-- And stared in shock as a small squirrel like minipet rushed down the tree, grabbed the seed, and rushed back up it.
"Precious, I do believe I've just found your breakfast," he said mildly--but the sight of his hair dancing said it believed he meant every word of it.

What possessed Sal to try and climb that tree, nobody would know. But the rail thin Sage did his best, climbing into a weak and sickly tree to look about. He knew almost immediately that it was a futile effort, but he had to put some form of effort into it after all. Thus, the climbing.
He dropped back down moments later, fruitless.
"I'd be happy to help you skin it."

"I wonder how well it will roast." Apparently Precious liked its food cooked, or maybe Fai was starting to get hungry. He paused, though, getting distracted by a lovely looking tree. "Ahhh, what a beauty," he said, starting up the tree with a bit of awkwardness. There weren't many trees for climbing in the desert. He pulled himself up to the top, picking one of the seeds and slipping it into his robes. But before he could go higher, the branch under him started to crack. "Well... damn," he said almost calmly before it gave way, sending the famine horseman plummeting to the ground.

It does not seem like it will be suitable His FEAR shield was good enough that it didn't hurt--but he couldn't breathe for a long moment. Fai lay on his back, staring up the tree for a long moment as he tried to get his breath back. Well, then, he thought as he finally gasped a breath in. Trees were lovely--but dangerous in their own way. He appreciated that in a plant. Once he was breathing again he got up, heading for a skinny looking tree and scaling it as well. It wouldn't do, of course, but he hoped to see something better from atop it.

Fai bellowed, hearing the "helloooo" and groaning as he dropped down from the tree. "Saaalll!! Where are you!" he yelled, heading further into the woods. He moved almost recklessly, not quite making noise, but not quite paying attention to where he was, either. "Saaalll!!" He cupped his hands around his mouth and called for the sage, feeling much like he had when they were younger. And--he thought as he glanced around--as lost as he had been when they were younger, too.

The trees were disorienting, and now...Fai's voice was calling him. From all angles. Naturally the Sage didn't work himself up into a panic, but he was getting rather worried; he wasn't used to forests, and he and plants never did get along.
Now he was alone.

He looked around for a skinny tree to climb and climbed it, stopping at the top to try and find his best friend. It seemed even skinnier than the last one, because it swayed with his slight weight, making him give it a dirty look. "I would appreciate some cooperation here, tree."
