Temporarily Blinded I'M CRYING RIGHT NOW OKAY You guys have no idea how relieved and upset I am right. I'm just like stuck in a glass case of emotions right now. It's not even funny. I'm watching Taboo and the episode is about unusual mental disorders that are usually not understood and alienated by people. FOR ONCE IN THE MEDIA, the disorder I have, Trichotillomania is talked about. And this girl on Taboo pretty much just said EVERYTHING I feel and think. I have to keep my hands busy all the time to keep from pulling out my hair. I never feel pretty and it has caused severe social anxiety I hate taking pictures the need to keep my hands busy helps my being an artist there's always different conflicting voices, some telling me "Pull your hair, pull your hair." and others telling me "No no no." I'M CRYING BECAUSE FOR ONCE I DON'T FEEL LIKE A FREAK After having Trichotillomania for 6 years now, I'm finally convinced that there are other people in the world just like me. Before now, it felt like I was the ONLY person in the world with this disorder. I just wanted to share my feels right now. I'm gonna go take a nap now.
Awww hun. You are never alone trust me. I may not have that sort of disorder, but i have plenty of my own that set me apart from the rest of the world. *hugs* I'm here for you if you need me :3
