The blue, swirled stallion trotted along merrily, enjoying the stretch on his legs on the cool evening. The day was winding down, letting Damir's mind wander and his loneliness sink in. He was now alone. Left his mother, helped his sister Irri as much as he could... and moved on from the glen he grew up in. The male supposed his missed his family, especially his dear mother, whom he swore to protect with his life, until she took a Lifemate, a green male named Kukai. Other than that, Damir had no ties to life anywhere, on any land. He was truly and utterly alone and without responsibilities. The male let out a sigh as he stopped underneath a willow tree, his favorite type, and munched on a little bit of grass while he sat in his melancholy.

Cecelia hummed a tune as she followed the curious blue butterfly she had seen by a little pond. As usual, she never paid attention to where she was going so she never saw that there was an interesting blue stallion grazing under a Grandmother Willow as she called them.
"Oh butterfly, how wonderful it must be to fly with those wings so beautiful..." She said softly. Her brother had gotten their father's wings while she his horns. She however, did inherit the beautiful patterns that decorated her mother's back as well as her own of course. Cece shook her mane to get the loose strands untangled from her horns. "You horns are so troublesome!" She said sternly to her horns, giggling to herself after she did so.

Damir looked up at the sound of some giggling, and found himself mesmerized by the most beautiful sight to ever grace his dear blue eyes. Bits of unchewed grass fell out of his mouth as he admired the pink creature with the many swirls and patterns that rivaled his own.
The blue male stood up, noticing the female's back was too him he approached her cautiously. "If a prettier sight were to never grace my sight, I'd still believe I was in heaven, just by gazing at you, Miss." He gave a small bow as he circled to face her. Not only pink! But blue as well! With a spiraled set of horns, so gorgeous. It made his heart ache with longing.

Her giggling ceased immediately once she heard a voice from behind her, she froze, hearing the no obvious male's compliment as he circled around her. With an intake of breath, she found herself speechless. The male's appearance paired with his eloquent words were enough to stop any azrein in their tracks.
"I, well thank you." Cece said, her bangs falling in front of her eyes but not blocking them. Then giving him a small bow in return she finally got a good look at him. His blue and purple swirls were simply magnificent, as hers and her mother's were, but his were in a different category of their own. "What brings you out here?" She asked lamely. For all she knew, SHE could be the one trespassing.

Damir simply smiled at the female. How had he not seen this beautiful creature before? He regarded the elegant creature regally. "I was simply passing through milady. Looking for a reason to stay someplace. Perhaps I've found a reason to linger?" The male blatantly flirted, shamelessly as he did a small prancing step, intended to either make her giggle, or flirt back

Cecelia giggled at the stallion's blatant flirting. "Well I'm not so sure about that either seeing as how I am just, well somewhat, passing through." Giggling again, she looked for the butterfly she had been following. "Awe, its gone." She said somewhat sadly, staring at the place she had last seen it for a moment before swishing her tail giving up and beginning to graze. "Where do you come from?" She asked, maybe in this round-a-bout way she would find out who he was aligned with.

Damir gave a small bow, before standing up straight and proud. "I was born to Mira, the wanderer and born and raised by Daria, Bond to Aila Amarose Darkfeather, servant to King Azreth. I was also raised by Jondayla, first Bond of Aila Darkfeather, servant to King Azreth." The blue male dipped his head in humbleness. "My name is Damir. Brother to Irri, and Purnima. And might I inquire as to who you are, Milady?" He asked gallantly.

Cecelia was having such a hard time thinking, he was just such a gentleman and so kind. "My mother's name is Zoey and my father's is Desmond. I'm not really sure if they're bonded...I know my momma isn't. You see, when my parents got together, they didn't know if they wanted to be together forever. So while my brother, Lysander, and I were growing up, we stayed with our mother or father, respectively. So I hadn't spent much time with my father as I would have liked. But after seeing how hard it was on my brother and I, our parents lifemated soon after we shed our blankets. I wish I was bonded, I think having a human counterpart would be cool!" She said bright and cheerily. She was glad to hear that he was allied with the king and so continued to somewhat flirt back with him.

Damir listened intently to her roots, his ears flickering in recognition at the name Zoey. "Would this mother of yours happen to be dark as night, with this swirling pattern so beautiful it must have come from a goddess, and a crescent on her forehead?" Damir asked, wondering if this was the same Zoey that the stallion Loren had been making Haiku's of for several seasons. As to the bonded: "As to having a Bonded, while I don't have one, I still consider myself tied to our King, and very much enjoy the company of the two leggers. And while I may not personally know what its like to be bonded, my "Uncle" Jonda, always told me that it was the most magical feeling in the world. One could compare it to being in love with their lifemate, but it was completely different. My mother took a long while to Choose Aila, due to some conflicting things in her past, but she was content to stay with the human and learn her, and finally Choose her as her Bonded. This was shortly before she finally took a lifemate, a green male named Kukai, and a little while before I left, so I never got her description of being Bonded." Damir said. "My two mothers never were lifemated, though Daria was very much in love with Mira. Things... just didn't work out, and I haven't seen Mira or my sister Purnima since I was a blanket..." He said kinda sadly.

"Why, yes, she is. How do you know of her?" Cece inquired. She wondered how this stranger knew of her mother. "I'm so sorry to hear about your sister and the human. Though it is interesting to hear of people's description. Even though I've only heard what you have told me about it. It sounds wonderful to be chosen. I wonder what my chosen might be like if I ever find them..." She stared off into space, daydreaming of what her chosen might look like.

Damir gave a rough kind of laugh. "Oh dear. You see, in my meadow we had this male stallion name Loren. Strange bloke. Always writing Haikus and Poems, and praying to this goddess, Nyx. Well one time he was gone for quite awhile and when he returned, almost all of his poems and Haikus had to do about this mare he met named Zoey, which described her as a mare as dark as Nyx's light with the markings that would make a lesser stallion weep." Damir chuckled.
"I do believe you said you were just passing through? If that is the case would you mind me tagging along? I have no set destination.. Only a longing to move and for company. Surely a beautiful thing as yourself wouldn't mind?"

"Loren you say? Hmmm, yes the name sounds slightly familiar. I think my mother might have said his name once or twice while reciting some poetry to me while I was a foal. What a small island, isn't it?" Cecelia said with a smile. Even with as big as the island was, there was still some pre-existing connection between them. "Yes, well, you see..." She began, kind of embarrassed that she had gotten herself lost while following the rogue butterfly. "I WAS just passing through...following a butterfly. But then I saw you and lost the butterfly and funny story is is that I really have no clue where I am." she said in a rushed voice, figuring he would catch the fact that she was lost pretty quickly.

Damir chuckled. "It is indeed a very small island." he smiled as she finished talking. Damir remembered how often he'd get lost as a foal, often because he was chasing butterflies like a love struck fool. Damir gave a small nudge to the pink female. "Lost huh? So where do you need to be, my sweet thing. I can help you back to your mommy." He teased. A damsel in distress, and the gorgeous Damir to the rescue. She'll love me! He thought to himself cockily.

"I know I had come from that direction..." She turned 180` around, "But other than that...I don't really remember. Mom's going to laugh at me. She always says I get as easily distracted as my father...and I'm not quite sure if thats a good or bad thing yet." She said, laughing.

Damir chuckled. "Well perhaps this time you can be a bit scandalous. Explain to your mother that your weren't just distracted. But you were distracted by a dastardly stallion that lured you into his trap, just to spend a few moments gazing at your beautiful hide before returning you to your mother." he flirted. Bear my foals.... his mind shouted. He swallowed before the thoughts could come out, and instead motioned for her to follow him the way she thought she came. He bent his head down to sniff at the ground and figure out where her scent was coming from.
