Character Name: Samantha Golden
So, why is life so hard? I had lost my father, and now my mother. I'm stuck with my sisters, Sam and Bailey. I knelt down to give them loaves of bread. "Eat them slow. We don't have much food." As I stand back up, I sigh, thinking about the reaping tomorrow. Whose name will get chosen? Will it be me? Most definitely. My name is in there about 40 or 50 times. I know, I'm just 15, but, I kept getting food form the District. I am in District 3, the district that has the average amount of winning tributes. I pick up my loaf of bread from the counter, eating it slowly. As I pick off the burnt parts of the skin, I look over at Sam. She won't eat. "What's wrong?" I say in a sweet voice as I pick her up. She was 7, she's not that hard to carry. "I'm afraid you'll be drawn from the names." She admits to me. I sigh and put her down. "I know, but don't worry." (Start roleplaying if you want.)

(Looks like this RP is a little down, I'll help you pick it up.)
Character Name: Mircea Caden Ray
I will never forget the outrage in District Nine because of the twin boy and girl that were reaped. Alex and Alexea were reaped last year at the age of 12, twins chosen to kill each other. But that didn't happen, instead they decided to stick together through the games. Until they were killed by District Two, that is exactly what they did. They even held hands while dying, but the hovercraft that came to pick them up cut they're hands apart so it could pick them up seperately. This made my father furious and in his fury he started throwing things. Doing this caused other people to get mad. Where was the twins' parents, right next to us three kids. Mason my brother was comforting Miss Spring, mother of the twins. My sister Mia, who was only 5, was being held by Mister Spring. And where was I, Mircea? Well, I was with my mother trying to calm down the crowd, but we weren't very successful. My whole family was in danger of losing they're lives because of my father, and everyone in District Nine will never forget the face of Mr. Nikolas Ray. That is why I fear for the Reaping tomorrow. I look into that 6 year old's eyes and see worry. She probably sees fear in my eyes when I tell her to have the rest of my food. We don't have a lot of money, so I have to take out six tessarae each year. I'm 15 this year so my name is in the bowl 28 times. It's worse for Mason because he's taken out six each year also. He's 18 this year so his name is in there 49 times. Mia doesn't have to worry about the Reaping for another 6 years though. I'm scared about the Reaping tomorrow and I can see it in Mason's eyes he fears for our family. Being the only "mature" man in the house, he holds a lot of responsibility. I only hope they don't pick out Mason and me on purpose at the Reaping to pay for what my father did.
