Like any other eggs that found themselves in Wonderland, Connor's was dreamed into being, left to be found by whomever wanted to take responsibility for it. Luckily for him he had been deposited in the territory of the Hearts, an area full of wealthy and powerful people who could no doubt afford an extra mouth to feed. Despite that, many passed the egg by or outright ignored it, not bothering to stop and consider it. Why should they, anyways? After all they were all busy and important people, all of which whose time was incredibly valuable.

However, finally, a couple stopped at the egg, glancing at one another before smiling, the Arcanine crouching and picking up the tiny Meowth Egg. His Ninetails husband lifted a delicate brow, seemingly intrigued that they were a pair of canines taking in something feline. However the look quickly morphed into a smile as his partner tucked the egg against his chest and held his free arm out to the Ninetails, both of them heading to their home.

These two were actually a fairly well-off pair of dukes that had merged their small territories when they had become life partners. Due to this they were fairly well off and didn't really have to do much work away from their home to maintain their income. This made it easy for them to set up a room for their new child, buy him clothing, and watch over the egg as they waited for it to hatch. It was an old, peaceful home in a nice, quiet territory, all of the rooms warm and comfortable, full of the love and dedication that they had contained over the years.

It was a good home to raise a gentle, kind, but pampered child. In many ways one could say that their home was a little too perfect, but only time would be able to tell.
