 Kol waited for Fleur's response, surprised he wasn't holding his breath. They were probably a little shallower, though.
He wasn't sure why he was getting like this after just a simple question. He'd only met the vixen that day, why should it matter if she'd prefer he leave or stay a bit longer?
Heck, who was he to just come waltzing into her life all unannounced like this? Talk about rude. He braced himself, waiting for Fleur to declare it would be best if he went ahead on his way. Encourage him to take that visit to his family or something...

 Fleur blinked. Had it sounded like she was asking Kol to leave? Oh dear...."Goodness no! I'm sorry if it sounded that way." Fleur fidgeted with her arm warmers self conciously. "I'd never dream of doing that. I like the company. It's just, you were on your way somewhere and if we hadn't run into each other you'd have continued. You're always welcome here for as long as you want to stay."
It'd be nice to have another fox around; and Kol was a nice guy. Certainly Fleur only met him that morning; but Kol hadn't shown any tendancies that would make Fleur want to get as far away from him as possible.

Something inside Kol relaxed.
"This is somewhere," he responsed with a laugh, gesturing to include himself, Fleur, and their surroundings. "Heck, compared to some of the somewheres I've been to, this is a very nice somewhere to stop at. There's someone to talk to here, for one thing."

Fleur had to join in with the laughter. "Oh how very clever, and so right you are. Especially if you did not have a certain 'somewhere' in mind to reach." Fleur pondered a moment. "Well if I finally get about to traveling to other 'somewheres', which of them should I avoid if they are not as nice?" There were so many somewheres out there that Fleur didn't want to miss the better ones because she went to the not so nice ones instead.

Kol thought about the question for a moment. "You know, I'm not really sure," he said, mentally running through places he had traveled. "I don't know what you would find interesting and worth seeing. I wasn't so fond of the city myself, too many humans around and it was just so crowded and smelled odd. But some foxes actually prefer to live there."
He shrugged, not really understanding what city foxes saw in the place. Maybe it was just the product of him being born and raised out in the middle of nowhere.
"As for the rest of it, you never really know what you're going to see when you're out traveling. You just kinda stumble onto the awe-inspiring things," he said, a hint of an ironic smile playing around his lips.
