Describe your soq's personality/interests: Snow is extremely hard-headed and independent. She's an adventurer and doesn't believe in being the "damsel in distress". She charges into danger without fear for herself. She is good to the core, trying to help others along her way, though still keeping them at something of an emotional distance.
What is your soq looking for in a stallion? She isn't looking really, but she needs a strong male who will challenge her. Someone who is as gallant and brave as she, but one who will show her it's ok to need help once in a while. She needs someone to teach her that true love exists.
Any specific limitations/requirements?: No one evil, or anyone out to use her. This needs to be a love story, even if the two don't realize it at first.

Looking for a plot? What kinds? (Rped or Background?) Background plots work best for me. I have a hectic life so rp is usually sloooooow. I love to plot though.

derivative Ooooh, it sounds like they'd be really interesting! I really like the idea forming in my head about how they'd play off one another. I think they'd be a great match, and both have all three breedings, so that evens out quite nicely. biggrin If you want to work out a plot and lifemate them, I'm totally game. derivative I was mostly thinking about their personalities and how they'd mesh. Itali is friendly and curious and very polite/gallant/gentlemanly, so he doesn't usually cause friction when he meets people. Unless she thought he was trying to coddle her, which might be fun or interesting for them, because he'd be sincerely apologetic and let her know that he fully respects strong women etc. He loves to travel and enjoys company whenever it comes his way, as long as it's friendly company, so I could see the two of them becoming traveling buddies and becoming very close friends, and as they get closer, his romantic side would start to bubble up and embarrass both of them, probably. Semi-awkward courtship is the best phrase that comes to mind, because Itali is used to treating everyone like a friend and not going further than that. He's very patient and gentle-hearted when it comes down to it, though he's firm in his beliefs and won't be pushed around (or intimidated by bullies) so... he's sort of just a chill gentleman. I think it would take a while for the two of them to get around to being a couple in the sense of their backstory (probably traveling companions for a while) but eventually Itali would propose sort of awkwardly that they travel together for the rest of their lives and have one great adventure, that kind of thing. I'm really open to how things go down backstory wise, since I don't know much about your mare (except the LR post!) so let me know what kinds of ideas you have about their courtship and whatnot. I'm flexible. <3

Awkward courtship is exactly what I have in mind. Snow travels alone, but once Itali proves his worth to her (through some kind of trouble they get into possibly) she'll be happy to have him as a travelling companion. I can see him realizing their budding romance first and having her a little resistant to it. Mostly because she's not that in touch with her feelings, having focused most of her attention on the outside world and little on herself. She might even get mad at him for trying to change their friendship and fly off somewhere, forcing him to give chase. She might even get in over her head with some kind of monster, trying to prove to herself she doesn't need anyone. I can see Itali showing up and saving her just in time, and she will then see him in a different light. She needs a little softening, and Itali seems the right stallion to do it! Plus, despite that SHE doesn't want to be a damsel in distress I like the idea of ending up needing saving - by her "prince charming" of course.
