Kanami does not talk much, especially to people she doesn't know. She doesn't do this because she feels superior or because she is antisocial, but because she is incredibly shy. She doesn't know how to open up to others around her, besides her family, and is afraid that people will judge her because of the Hollow within her. Her insecurities tansfer over to other things as well: swordplay, training, fighting, making new friends, etc. At her core, she just wants to be loved and accepted for who she is.
Breaking the Ice:
When someone actually does get to know Konami, they will find a girl who is incredibly kind hearted, naive, and innocent. She cares deeply about those who she is close to, is loyal to the bitter end, and doesn't judge, no matter how harsh someone's past may be. The likes to look toward the future, and doesn't dwell on things that cannot be changed. The girl has a great sense of humor, but she doesn't take criticism well, even if it over the smallest thing because she is a perfectionist. History:
Kanami was born sixteen years ago, she was the result of the third anniversary of her parents, Hisashi and Ayaka.. Ironically, her brother was the result of their wedding night. Meaning the two have exactly the same birthday, but three years apart. When she was born, her brother seemed to act differently around his family, but was extremely kind towards Kanami, no matter what happened. They spent most of their time together, whether or not their parents were around. It seems more like they are twins then older brother and younger sister.
Kanami never got the chance to go to the Shinigami Academy, but she would always welcome her brother home when he got done with each day at the Academy.. Kata would always say his day went fine, to make her happy when often times it didn't go to great.. Kanami began Kido lessons from her parents around the age of seven; of course they weren't anything extreme. Just exercises to get her accustom to using her Reiatsu/Reshi to use Kido, Kata would even teach her a few things when his parents weren't around.. Though because of this, Kanami rarely spent time around other people, specifically kids. If anyone was around, it was mostly adults or young adults.. That wasn't very frequent either, causing her to become more of a shy, quiet girl when she was around anyone that wasn't a part of her Family. Though once Kata dropped out of the Academy, it basically ensured that she wouldn't spend much time around others until she was older, unless she actually wanted to.. Then her parents, or brother would take her around, but it was best avoided because most of the children were judgmental.. Especially after Kata's experience at the Academy with the eyepatch removal, students, other children in general though she would have it as well..
By the time Kata dropped out of the Academy, her parents were promoted to the Royal Guard, they were around less frequently for their children, but would always make plenty of time, usually each day to spend time with their kids.. Which actually became easier now days, now that the Royal Guard opened up to the Gotei Thirteen, but for times that they wouldn't be around to teach them, or even spend time with them.. They asked one of their friends, originally from the Royal Guard to teach them in the way of the sword and physical combat.. As well as take care of them when they weren't around, that was Shuzo.. Who gladly accepted the request of the parents, and soon became Kanami's and Kata's Sensei.. With only a short time training under Shuzo, it was clear that Kanami had advance skills when it came to the way of the Zanpakuto, in only the time of maybe two or three years, her Zanpakuto opened up to her and she learned its name, and even unlocked the actual use of its Shikai.. Simply amazing, but she was leaving her brother behind.. He had an additional three years of training, and he still couldn't even get the blade of his Zanpakuto, let alone its name.. He had to use a regular sword for training.. It was so frustrating to him, but Kanami never really saw frustration from him to her, because any time it was released it would be just with training, or around his parents.. She always seems to get worried when her brother gets frustrated, but doesn't let that get in the way when it comes to her training sessions..

Sensaina Shi is a beautiful woman with long ebony hair that flows down past her waist. She is taller than Kanami, and has a think but curvy build. She wears a tight black outfit that accents the curves of her body. Her eyes are a pretty blue color.

To anyone besides Kanami, her inner world seems to be a beauteous place, full of gorgeous tropical plants and strange animals. But Kanami sees it for what it is: a representation of a death trap. At the touch, the flowers can burn away at a person's skin, or p***k them with sharp quill like appendages and fill their body with poison. The flowers and plants are the gentle killers though, and the poison makes a person hallucinate, bringing back good memories and taking away their pain receptors so they die without any agony. The animals' poison is the one that kills with an intense pain, but it is generally quicker than the poison the plants bring. Kanami herself doesn't necessarily have to worry about the poison, because she is immune, but it shows the true nature of Sensaina Shi.

Long red gloves cover most of her arms, and chains spiral along them. She wears what appears to be a short black dress, with ruffles. Her legs are concealed by red tights that match the color of her gloves.

When Kanami makes a gash in someone's skin, an acid like substance will begin to eat away at their flesh. This substance is really a virus, created by her zanpakuto, and it cause intense agonizing pain for the person afflicted. However, it can be halted by healing, though it will take a while. The fasted way to get better is to take the antidote that she has created.
Kamu [[Bite]]:
When an opponent is stabbed by Sesaina Shi, it severs the brain signals that control the neural impulses for movement in the limbs of the victim. If she cuts into a person's arm, their arm will be paralyzed, if she stabs by the leg, the leg will be paralyzed. Eventually as the poison seeps through a person's blood stream, their entired body will be paralyzed, unless they are helped by a healer. Unlike regular paralysis, the pain receptors and nerve endings are unaffected by the weapon, so the victim can still feel pain, even in a paralyzed limb.
Tenshi no Kaiteki [[The Angel's Comfort]]
The blade gives off a cloud of poison gas, that if inhaled will cause illusions. These hallucinations are not mentally painful however. The person will see themselves with everything they ever wanted out of life, surrounded by who they loved. The poison doesn't actually hurt the person like the other attacks do. Instead it allows Kanami to act like a parasitic animal, and can suck reiatsu from them to give her more power.

Tenshi no Kaiteki [[The Angel's Comfort]]
The blade gives off a cloud of poison gas, that if inhaled will cause illusions. These hallucinations are not mentally painful however. The person will see themselves with everything they ever wanted out of life, surrounded by who they loved. The poison doesn't actually hurt the person like the other attacks do. Instead it allows Kanami to act like a parasitic animal, and can suck reiatsu from them to give her more power.
