Camilla closed her eyes as she felt the power flow through her body; the warmth of the power made her happy as she finally felt like she belonged to something meaningful. She was so glad she finally found something that made her feel like she belonged on this planet! As she finished stepping through the mirror, Camilla opened up her eyes and looked at herself.
The clothes of her school uniform were replaced with her now Dark Mirror Court outfit: black, purple, and gold shimmered in the night light as she looked at herself and smiled. She did a slight twirl, enjoying the feeling of both her uniform and the attachment to something that felt important. Camilla couldn’t be more grateful towards Ares. She had already promised her new queen that she would do whatever she could do to make her proud.
As she walked away from where she just walked through the mirror, entering a park that now seemed empty with a few homeless people sleeping on the park benches, Camilla paused. “I know I’m not Camilla when I’m like this…” Closing her eyes once again, she let her mind go blank and finally, a name called to her. “I… I am Sailor Mimistrobell… Dark Mirror Court Senshi… Senshi…” Eyes still closed, more words came to her while she stood there. Mimi clasped her hands together and waited. She spoke softly as the words ‘Mimistrobell, Crippling Waft’ came to her. Between her hands, she felt a warm sensation and then opened her hands.
Mimistrobell saw what was sitting there and smiled. “Nightshade pollen… How beautiful… I am the Senshi of Nightshade!” Still smiling, she brought her hands in front of her lips and blew the pollen slowly out of her hands. She watched as the pollen spread in the air, sparkling slightly under the moonlight. Mimistrobell watched as the pollen approached one of the homeless people. The man sat up, coughed, and tried standing up.
She saw that the man’s eyes were wide open, but his arms were in front of him, like he was trying to touch something. The man cried for help, saying that his eyes couldn’t concentrate. From where she was standing, Mimistrobell didn’t move, but the pride in her kept swelling up more and more. She felt as though she was doing well, but something… Something still seemed to be missing. Then she remembered that there was something else that came with the outfit.
There was a small pouch that was in between her black dress and the opaque purple fabric. Inside she was told that there was something in there to help her gather energy. Out of curiosity, Mimistrobell pulled it out and looked at it. “This… It’s just a shard of glass…?” Mimistrobell was kind of skeptical, but she had to believe in her Queen… She was the one that gave her this much. She laid the piece of glass on her hand and looked at it. “Work,” she said questioningly out loud. She knew it was supposed to work, but the thing is, how?
Mimistrobell closed her eyes, feeling that all the Senshi information that came to her that way would also bring the information on the mirror shard. She stood there, now clenching the shard just a little bit, but all seemed silent in her mind. Mimistrobell cursed under her breath and opened her eyes again.
“Ugh fine!” She gently put the shard back into the pouch, slightly frustrated but knew there was nothing she could do until she met others like her. Mimistrobell’s silent resolve to herself was that she would do whatever she could to succeed…. Whatever she could do to help her Queen. She walked into a dark hallway, headed back slowly towards her dorm room. She knew what abilities she had now and she was more than ready to prove to the world she would eventually be at the top.
