With his Insanity finally waning, the whispers fading and falling into the category of 'easy to ignore', Bix thought it was time to address some things he was avoiding. He wasn't sure what they were going to do for Julie.. or with her dorm, but he knew that it would be untouched as long as they were staying down below. He wanted to go to her room, maybe put things in order for her.. or just take a memento or two. It only seemed right.

He bet money that the Valentines cake was still rotting away there.. or perhaps the insanity had turned it into some sort of cake monster. He laughed to himself that it figured... her legacy being some sort of glittery cake monster come to eat them all.

The first person he thought of was Clarice. They weren't close friends but he knew she had been close with Julie and so he typed out a text before going to seek her out.



Hopefully she answered. If she didn't, he'd just go alone.

Bix was waiting there when Clarice arrived. He hadn't been sure if she would answer and since he planned on going anyway, he figured he'd hang around there and, worst case scenario, rope someone unsuspecting into it.

It was a good thing she answered.

"Hey Clarice." Bix waved a bit, smiling slightly though it was obviously uneasy. Were you supposed to smile when you did something like this? When his brother had gone missing they'd left his room the way it was for a few years before anyone had the desire to move anything or empty it out. But with Nicky there had been a hope he'd show back up. Julie wasn't coming back.

"Thanks for coming with me." It was all he could think to say. Should he explain how they'd gone on an impromptu date? Did it seem strange that he wanted to retrieve the gifts he bought her? Instead of saying any of it, he just stood awkwardly and when the time came, began to walk.

"I'm really worried about her fridge." He almost laughed. Almost. He was always good at talking and found that the funny memories were easier than the others. As the fog pressed in around the path he kept his eyes ahead, never to the sides because of what he may see. Easier to look for his goal and avoid the distractions. "I mean there were things living in there before this... Insanity stuff. And I was there right after Valentines day and there was this cake... It had clearly passed. Though the glitter made it look amazingly preserved." He smiled a bit again.

"Maybe we should have brought a squad." Bix joked to the blonde and darted a glance towards her face, slightly unsure if discussing all of this was ok by her or if they should fall into solemn silence.

Bix actually blushed a bit. It was definitely embarassment but mostly because he didn't know the answer to the questions.

"She said we were soulmates?" He said it questioningly. "But it started at Christmas and that was a uh.." he coughed a bit. "..strange and wonderful time." His memories were so warm and shiny. "I am not sure she had any expectation except that we have a romantic kiss at midnight. It was Julie, you know? She didn't even call me by my name."

He paused and offered his hand in a joking shake, "I'm Tony by the way, nice to meet you."

They were finally nearing the dorm doors. "Anytime she wanted to see me she had some 'secret mission'." He air quoted. "Like the last time it was just us going to the mall and shopping. But I got her to call me Bix that time!" He perked but then sagged. "I think Julie just wanted to live in all the gushy parts of romance movies. So all in all pretty innocent. That was as together as we were... but I don't think she was doing that with anyone else."

"Yeah.. She was the only girl on this island I kissed." He chuckled, feeling stupid a bit because of the circumstances. "Even when people would say to watch out for her or whatever, I still defended her anyway. She wasn't nearly as bad as people made it out." Sure she tampered with a lot of things, some of them borderline deadly, but she seemed to have good (if not twisted) intentions.

Bix paused when they finally were at the doors for the dorm building. He summoned his bow quickly and put on his 'business face'. "You lead?" She'd know the quickest way as well as the fact that he was a ranged fighter and should naturally have her back.

"Have you been back in here yet?"

"Came back a few times. Most things are small but there's a few real monsters.." He nodded to her as they moved ahead. Thankfully all he could see now was mist. "Do you want to go by your own room? Get some things? I came with Molly and Ofie for just that reason."

Girls and their things. Of course he wasn't any different really, he'd come by for clean boxers and sneakers and a couple books. Any distraction helped down in the bunk room.

"Second floor right?" The higher ranking hunters were up there, he was pretty sure. Thankfully there was still nothing but mist in their path.
