History: D's history is a long and sometimes tragic one. Several hundred years ago, before the formation of the five great nations, D was born in a small village to average parents. He showed great promise as he grew up, living in a house on the side of a mountain with his family. He took to learning like a fish to water and began practicing ninjutsu from an early age. Quickly becoming proficient in water style jutsu. Time went on and he grew up, his village grew into a bustling and powerful city and he eventually found love, settled down got married and had a family. He became a well known and respected warrior, although he tried his best to avoid fighting. That all changed one day when, in an event that he hasn't spoken of since and probably never will. He directly caused the destruction of his village. Everyone was killed, his family included. And he performed the ritual upon himself that turned him into the monstrosity that he is today as a reminder to himself of the horrible things he had done.
And so he ran. And he has kept running ever since. Never looking back because he dare not out of shame. He traveled the world fighting injustice and evil, witnessing events from the shadows. The founding of the great nations, the wars. At some point during that time he picked up his habit of telling silly jokes and wearing funny clothes simply because if he did not laugh and force himself to be happy then he would have hung himself by now. He disappeared for some time, only to reappear to participate in the fourth Shinobi world war where he met several influential characters including Naruto, Kakashi and Killer Bee among others. Claiming Samehada after the death of it's last wielder. He has since showed up sporadically wherever he is needed, although most people don't know how exactly he knows. But he does.
