Gotham City.
Breeding ground for crime, villainy, and injustice. A hunting ground where the innocent are the prey. Rape, theft, murder, crimes of any nature take place on these very streets. It is an extreme portrayal of almost every city. The rich stay rich and the poor get poorer. The police aren't enough. They've never been enough. But the never-ending night of evil has come to an end. And it all started with one man.
Bruce Wayne.
Batman.
How many nights has he spent on the prowl, putting an abrupt end to the schemes of plots of criminals, from mindless lackeys to genius super villains? He's long forgotten. Dwelling on the past stalls progress. But an entire city is a bit much for one man. His plight was exciting, attractive even. But it isn't something anyone can do. However, slowly but surely, Batman made a team. Made a family.
d**k Grayson. Barbara Gordon. Jason Todd. Tim Drake. Damien Wayne. Stephanie Brown. The Batman Family grew in number and in strength. While only Damien and Bruce were related by blood, they weren't any more family than the others. Batman was the father. The others were his children.
But not everything is well within the family.
Both d**k Grayson and Tim Drake have grown beyond the rank of "Boy Wonder." Both former Robins have grown into their own hero, while still affiliating themselves with the Dark Knight. Nightwing. Red Robin. But neither one of them held any resentment toward Bruce. They were still partners. However, one former Robin didn't remain unquestionably loyal to Batman. Jason Todd. The Red Hood. Vigilante who solves crimes through intimidation and murder, Batman's teachings twisted and perverted by his thirst for cleansing the city. Bruce's teachings couldn't stop the thirst. Death couldn't either.
And that's the least of Bruce's worries.
The streets have been quiet. Crime has all but come to a standstill. An unsettling cloud of anxiety has fallen over Gotham, and no one is ready to accept the Peace. What Batman and his family don't know is that something sinister is brewing in Gotham, and it will take his entire family to stop it.

Rules
- Follow Guld Rules
- Follow Gaia ToS
- No Cybering, flaming, all that.
- This will have fighting, so no Godmodding, autohitting, etc.
- This will most likely have romance, but unless the characters have a history, try not to make it love at first sight, alright?
- Posts should be at least 3 sentences. No one-liners. I don't care about pretty posts.
- PM all profiles to me. Title them Canon if they're a canon character, or OC if they're an origina character.

Villains
Alright, now I will allow RPers to roleplay some of the villains. However, the heavyweights won't be roleplayed by you guys, I'll be using them. I need them for the story that comes into play later on. So no Joker, Mr. Freeze, Penguin, etc.
Also, if you want to start a story arc with the villain you control, just let me know and we can start that up.
