 First of all, Welcome to the guild!
Reverie Academy is a guild meant to let your imagination run wild, your dreams become your reality, and pull your desires so they could be in reach!
If you have any questions or inquiries about the guild or some roleplay areas, then please feel free to post your concerns here, or send a litle PM to our captain, or to the vice captains— we are all lovely people. c:
This is meant to serve as your guide through the guild, so put out your notebooks and listen carefully children!
 Lesson 1: Starting OutA lot of members do not know what to do first once they join the guild, so here's a little checklist you can follow:⇒Create Your Character⇐You have to go to the Somnium Residents to create your character where a character skelly is also provided. From there, you would have to create a new topic and think of a creative title for your character closet (Or just name it _______'s characters).When you're done, you just have to post the profiles there, so that your RP partners would know who your character is.
(It's a very stalker-friendly environment, so to the creeps of this guild: go forth and stalk! I'll be with you shortly ;D )
And don't worry, as long as you follow the gaia ToS, your character is always accepted! No need to wait for our approval before you roleplay— you can "roll" any way you want to. ⇒Look For Living Quarters⇐You can't let your poor character just wander aimlessly on the streets right? Look for a place where he or she could settle-in nicely in between classes in the Residential Subdivisions! You can choose to either build your own house/dorm, or join existing houses/dorms. (House/Dorm names indicate if they are full or accepting, so no need to worry about awkward moments here.)
There is also the Town Square where you could look for other role-players with homeless characters who can help fill your dorm/house, and where you could post random things like the CB forum. ⇒Explore⇐ Reverie Academy has two subforums that you could explore! First is the Classes & Inside the School Subforum and the City & Outside the School Subforum. Feel free to RP in both, because they can provide you with various RP environments that your character can explore alone or with a friend (or stranger).
If you are interested, we are currently looking for roleplayers who want to make teacher or staff characters. More details are found in the Faculty and Staff Room, so just head over there and read the positions that are open, and apply as indicated. (doesn't this sound like something you read at a box of ointment? ) ⇒Follow the Rules⇐ Read the Rules! They're very simple and easy to follow, so no excuses! (The rules may or may not be changed. But if changes will be made, you will be notified immediately.)

Now that your character is also snug and friendly, we have provided you with several threads to fool around in when not in-character. They're all found in the main forum, so keep watch, children!
Lesson 2: Beyond the SchoolBesides Character development and Roleplaying, here are other things you could do:⇒Introduce Yourself⇐ Besides a roleplaying haven, Dream Academy is also a community of roleplayers aspiring to make themselves better at what they do best. We encourage camaraderie among members, so introduce yourself at the Start of the Line (Welcome thread)
Remember: Play nice. c: ⇒Confirm activity⇐ As a young guild, we want to make sure that the gaians who go out of their way to join us are active. The true value of a guild is not based on the number of its members, but on its activity and companionship. A fun Roll Call is in the main forum so that we can check on all of you.
An active guild is a happy guild!⇒Stay Updated⇐ Even our own characters have private lives outside the RP post. You can choose to post about their Relationship Statuses, (if they have one) in your Characters' diaries, or when you feel dramatic, post your Character Theme Songs! The sky is the limit for your creativity.
⇒Get Involved⇐ If you feel like something is lacking or needs to be changed in the guild, feel free to voice out your suggestions in the Suggestions thread where they will be properly addressed.

I've been gone on a paid(not) leave, but now that I'm back, a few changes are being made! So, as usual, sit tight and take down notes! (But you don't have to, really.)
Lesson 3: ChangesAs they say, "Nothing is permanent in this world but change". So to follow logic for the first time, here are a few changes being done or about to be done in the guild⇒Setting⇐Don't get us wrong, we're not obliterating the idea of Dream Academy. We're simply setting it up at a new place! So, Welcome to the City of Somnium!
"Somnium" is the Latin term for "Dream"— that makes everything self-explanatory now, doesn't it?
⇒Subforums⇐Here's some guidelines:
Somnium Residents - this subforum contains all the Character profiles. You can find the Character skelly and the Character Approval thread here.
Dream Academy - This is where you can find the school! All classes, and in-campus locations are found in here.
City Proper - This is the Somnium itself! This is where you can find various stores, hangouts, and the city outskirts.
Residential Subdivisions - This is where the student/teacher Dorms and houses are located.
Town Square - the center of all chatter—the Chatterbox! You can post random stuff here and discuss a huge variety of topics. You can also advertise your character here if you're looking to start an RP.
Somnium City Hall - For Crew Members only! Hee hee.
==Reserved for Events!== - as the temporary name suggests, this is where all future events will happen.
Beyond Somnium - This is where you can find places outside of Somnium. Here, there are kingdoms, countries, and any other place not found within the boundaries of the City of Somnium.
Lastly, the Somnium Archives - This is where we will place old, or inactive threads.⇒Character Skelly & Approval⇐ We're going to create a new, and improved skelly and approval system soon, keep posted~The dismissal bell rings and everyone starts to rise from their seats.
