Saarnika’tse sat atop a rock overlooking the lands below. Grey eyes scanned the plains that spread out ahead of her, searching for the owner of the tracks she had found near her home tree earlier in the morning. They were relatively small, so she was not too worried about getting attacked, but she did not like waking to find someone else had been so close without her knowing. Whoever had been by seemed to be long gone, and Saarni did not feel like dwelling on the matter any longer than was needed.
