Personality: Akane is rumoured to be a cold, heartless being, perhaps even a demon in disguise. This isn’t quite the truth though, but it mostly was developed from two other rumours, one saying that Akane loves blood, the other stating “She will never smile unless she is draining the life from a being”. The later an exaggeration, though it is true the young woman hardly ever smiles. Akane is however not… always… as cruel as she appears. She is a very calm individual on a regular basis and is usually quiet around those she isn’t familiar with. Due to her reputation and what most would describe as creepy presence Akane doesn’t make many friends. Akane has the outward appearance of being serious and while this is true, she is also very good at slacking off, though it is usually in solitude and unseen to others. Her loyalty is extremely strong and she is willing to go to nearly any measure to make sure she protects those she cares for. She give such loyalty to few people, first her respect must be earned and then she needs to feel one is somebody she can be close to. Akane keeps all her promises and will never try to go back on her word. She is also very well-mannered as often uses more formal titles when speaking to people.
Since she was frequently pushed away in the past, Akane does keep distant from most people, so very few know her true self. Akane is thoughtful and a good listener, her memory is actually excellent and she never forgets anything important. She likes to lay down in the grass and stare at the sky and slack off from paperwork whenever it is possible for her to get away with it. It is part of her slightly rebellious side in a way. Akane is controlled despite her side that likes to fight and make people bleed. She is fascinated by and interested in death and darkness, but in turn occasionally life and what is light will catch her interest, as can be seen with her friendship with Mizuki Himura.
When fighting Akane will take an injury if she feels it isn’t worth avoiding and she can become more talkative or open. Maybe she will even smile.

Biography: Akane was born a noble soul in the Seireitei, which can explain her values and manners. Even then though Akane was interested with death and blood seemed to attract her, but her family always told her to mind her manners. Her red eyes were unnatural even for the family though and often made people around her nervous, coupled with her somewhat dark personality at a young age she was known as a Child of Misfortune among rumours. Akane also has an older brother who is being set up to be head of the family next and he has a much better reputation than she does.
She started going through a rebellious stage at around 50 years old and Akane began finding ways to sneak into the Rukongai Districts. It was her first exposure to real fighting and where she met her best friend. Akane would normally find herself in a fight because of her eye or personality, which is how she began to develop her fighting skills. One day though she met her match and found herself very at risk of losing and not just the fight. When she thought all was lost next thing she knew her opponent was on the ground and a strange purple haired girl was offering out her hand. Later she found out the girls name was Mizuki and she was making ends meet with her twin sister. It also turned out Mizuki had the strange appearance and a reputation to fit the bill for often finding trouble. Mizuki soon attached herself to Akane, which was odd for her. People would normally avoid Akane and when she tried to scare Mizuki away she would just giggle and smile happily. Her cheerful personality and persistence intrigued Akane and eventually it turned into friendship. In fact Mizuki became Akane’s best friend, even though the two were an unlikely match.
In a couple years Mizuki and her twin sister Miyuki were adopted by an elderly couple who ran a tea shop and Akane visited more often. Mizuki, despite strongly disliking conflict and fighting seriously, would run off to go train with Akane and they developed fighting skills together. Often times Miyuki would also tag along, because while she wasn’t as close to Akane as Mizuki was she was close to Mizuki and still a friend to Akane. At the end of the day they’d lie in the grass and look at the sky, just talking. Eventually they began talking about becoming Shinigami.
That day came for only two of them, as Mizuki died fighting against hollows who had appeared in the Rukongai and attacked young children. She had however been out matched and took a many severe injuries. Miyuki and Akane hadn’t made it in time to save her, but Mizuki’s soul soon found its way into her twin’s body due to a unique bond, though it remained completely dormant. Soon after her dear friends death Akane stopped seeing Miyuki as much, perhaps even avoiding her. They both entered the academy and Akane graduated after only two years in which she pushed herself and focused much harder than many classmates, though she also had the expectations of family to live up to. After Akane graduated she was placed in Division Eleven able to be placed as the Tenth Seat. It was a few short years later that she was promoted to the Sixth Seat of Division Three.
After a few year Akane was among the squad members sent on a top secret expedition that only the group, the captain and Central 46 were aware of. Nearly everybody that went on the expedition were killed in one way or another as they were not prepared for the forces they were met with. However Akane managed to fight on and survive, but in the process she also began hollowfication and was lucky enough to have the Captain Himself arrive in time in response to the distress calls sent out earlier. The fact that Akane was the only survivor had shown her potential and she was quickly promoted to the squad's lieutenant upon return. It was also decided Axzaki would train her to control her hollow and powers. Though Akane chose to keep her visored status mostly hidden and select few are ever aware of her powers, especially those weaker than her because the fear effect of her reiatsu over powers seemed to overpower most traces of hollow in her. Which is why her status as a visored is nearly completely unknown by the soul society.
Still to this day Akane remains Axzaki's loyal lieutenant.

Zanpakutō Name: Ryuketsu Megami (Bloodshed Goddess)
Zanpakutō Spirit: Ryuketsu Megami takes the form of an extraordinarily beautiful woman with straight black hair flowing down just past her hips with a top layer pinned up of top of her head and held in place with gold hair pieces. Her eyes seem to be the same crimson of Akane’s but hold a colder intent, her skin is fair, she sports dramatic black eye make-up and her lips look as if freshly painted with blood. She wears a kimono of black with gold lining wrapped right side over left that slides just off her shoulders and helps accent her well-endowed chest, the sleeves are long and fall past her hands though should her hands ever be seen they are stained red with blood. Her obi is red. There is a sword fastened to her waist with a golden cord and her nails are long and sharp.

Sealed Appearance: Akane’s sealed zanpakutou takes the shape of a regular katana with a black and red hilt wrapping, the guard is a circular shape like most with the exception of it seeming to have a blade-like edge. The only other feature of the zanpakutou is the slightly longer hilt, which to the knowledge of few conceals a hidden tanto.
Inner World: Akane’s Inner World is a fresh battle field at sunset. The ground is littered with weapons and bodies and patches of grass remain stained crimson. There is a river that runs with blood instead of water and if followed upstream a cave is found. The cave is decorated with skulls, hollow masks and spoils of war, this is where Ryuketsu Megami keeps her prizes, though she often likes to spend time on the battle field.

Zanpakutō Changes: ] When released Ryuketsu Megami takes the form of metal claws on each of Akane's fingers, each one sharp and menacing. Both of her forearms are adorned with gauntlets the right one containing a hidden blade.

Shikai Abilities:
-The main ability of Ryuketsu Megami is to use any blood drawn, usually her opponents or her own to elongate her claws or otherwise manipulate drawn blood. When the blades of her gauntlets are drawn she is able to do the same with them. This manipulation also allows for Akane to stop wounds from bleeding out, but this rarely happens. Another way she can use this is to channel the blood into a second longer set of claws between her fingers.
-By gathering blood on her claws and with a quick movement she sends the blood flying like little daggers towards her targets.
-When she cuts an opponent and there is a significant amount of blood drawn, as it follows the movement of her claws she'll swing back again, making the drawn blood fly back at the opponent with the intent to further deepen the wound or harm them.
-This ability is considered her final resort when in Shikai, with the middle claw on each hand Akane will cut the palm of the other hand and lets the blood gather and it begins to glow with the same powerful crimson as her reiatsu, upon the command this will send a powerful blast of blood and reiastu at her opponent. The more both herself and her opponent have bled the stronger the attack is likely to be.

Hollow Name: Ao
Hollow Appearance: Ao is identical to Akane in featues however, where Akane's hair is black with a little red her's is white with blue. Her eye's are dark with blue iris's and she wears an inverted uniform. She's like a white and blue version of Akane.
Mask Appearance: Akane's mask is a basic mask shape, with no markings. The mouth of the mask is is formed into a wide grin. The right side has a regular eye hole while where it would normally place on the other side is replaced with three vertical claw like openings.

-Cero: Akane is able to fire a black and red cero from the tips of her fingers, while in chikai it is fired from her claws and fires like a large devestating claw swipe.

Other:
-Akane seems to always be prepared and carries two extra blades at all times. One is a small blade concealed in her lieutenants badge, the other is a second tanto which was a gift from Mizuki. It is usually tucked into her sash beside her zanpakutou. Coupled with the hidden tanto in the hilt of her zanpakutou she is always well armed and has the ability to use the element of surprise because near nobody knows about her extra blades.
-Akane’s reiatsu has the effect of fear, when her reiatsu released is higher or near equal to people within its range it will give them a feeling of fear or doom. The higher her reiatsu is compared to another’s the stronger the effects. The fear effect of her reaitsu is also why people have a hard time figuring out she's a visored. The stronger her released power the stronger the effect, when it's high in power it creates a larger feeling of hopelessness and fear.
