Combat FAQ:

How does combat at Entra work?
Since combat isn't required at Entra I'm keeping the battle system as simple as possible. When fighting, you will roll 2 d4s at the same time. The first will be for accuracy, the second for damage.
Accuracy is determined like so:
Roll 1 d4 - 1 and 2 mean you miss, 3 and 4 mean your attack lands.

Damage is calculated a little different from the Meta:
-Roll 1 d4
-Multiply the number you roll by half of your current Entra combat level.
- If Phantasm is a level 100, and gets a 1, his attack would do 50 damage.
-If an attack is 1.5x or 2x more due to a type advantage, you multiple by those numbers. Thus if the above example was against a ghost type and it was a dark attack, it would do 100 damage instead.

Actual combat levels and experience at Entra are not the same as in the Game as we have to keep everyone equal.
At Level 1, which everyone starts at, you start at 20 health.
Every time you gain a level you increase your health by 20.
Please use a spare post on the front page of your journal to keep track of your statistics.

Each combat level takes an increasing number of battles to go up. To make it simple, the number is the same as your level.
Thus to go from level one to level two, it takes one battle. To go from two to three, it takes two.
Please keep a list of battles in your journal underneath your stats.

Do I have to participate in battles?
Absolutely not! However there are awards that are only given out through combat.

Is there a particular format I need to use?
No, but be sure to list the attack and attack type being used, damage done, your health, and your pokemon type at the top or bottom of the RP post.

How are status effects calculated?
This is coming soon. As of now, we don't have a status effect system.
