Amphi had thought long and hard on how she was going to tell Thana the things she wanted too. Ask him the things she wanted too....
Since the effects of Insanity in her disappeared she had done a lot of thinking, Especially about the Reaper. Who she knew was smirking in her head with some comment about like her thinking about him all the time and just....
She considered Thana to be a good friend, if not a great protector and someone who had supported her during their time at the islands and even before.
She just...wanted to show some apperciation for the Reaper for all he did, and give him a small gift that she heard students exchanged with their friends or significant others. NOT THAT HE WAS LIKE HER SIGNIFICANT OTHER OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT, JUST A FRIEND.
She flushed as she braided her hair back and chose, oddly enough, an outfit that didn't show off all of her assets. Long thin black pants tucked into heavy duty boots and a blue bikini top, she relaxed as she looked over herself before nodding.
There, she was dressed up...in fact all of her was dressed up but HER TOP HALF AMPHI REALLY. Did that even count....
She breathed in again before exiting her room and heading to the Reaper dorms. Hopefully Thana would be in.....

Thanatos was, in fact, not in his room. He had developed an odd habit which included him going downstairs to the Reaper dorm's common room with Biskoto, and sitting by the fireplace at least once every few days; a good number of students come and go from that room, after all. It was a good place to meet number people, socialize a little without having to go to the cafeteria. Or the garden. Or anywhere not close to his room.
However, today had been rather dull. While the common room was as cozy as ever, not a single soul had stepped into it this morning... Which was why he had decided to leave early, despite Biskoto's protests.
She had really grown to like that fireplace.
The familiar soon changed her mind, however, when she laid her eyes on a familiar figure in the reaper dorms, the sea salt smell of the ghoul unmistakable, "Amphi! Darling! Hello!" She smiled happily, waving at the mermaid with end of her tail, seeing how she lacked arms to do that with.
"And what are you doing here today?" He asked, greeting her with a grin as he eyed her attire, "I see you covered up a little more, but-" He leaned in, so that he was more at her eye level, "For boils, and perhaps some ghouls, the top half is the most important~"

Amphi was deep in thought when she hit the Reaper dorms. Comprehending mid thought about the things she wanted to talk about. One of them may be the Nightmare...The nightmare where Biskoto laid in- Her hand went to cover her mouth before shaking her head.
It had been a dream after all, a delusion caused by Insanity and by her own FEARs playing on her. She let the fear of death drown her for a moment, pausing in the hallway with a brief moment to quell it and then-
"Biskoto." Her eyes opened, a small shy smile forming as she came to the snake first. Biskoto always got her attention first as she came to kiss the snake on the nose, nuzzling her. "Hello Biskoto, your looking well...and Alive." Well and happy for a snake after all. She breathed in as she looked to Thana now as well. Studying him with a careful eye and a hesitant touch to his persons.
Now Amphi wasn't normally one to go about touching people but here in this moment, she did want to make sure he was real...tangible and alive.
"I did. A gift from another pair of students who have-" She let her hand drop from him, flushing..."I..What? The top half?" She looked to her bikini top, fingering the string neck tie before frowning at him. "I thought....Oh well....Maybe...I should have brought a shirt?" She had a zip up hoodie but....
"Oh! I came to give you something." She flushed as she looked around though..."But...But I can't give it here....."

"Very alive and well, darling!" The snake hissed, leaning into the kiss with an almost bashful look, returning the nuzzles; Amphi seemed a little more affectionate than usual, not that she minded, "You're looking alive and well yourssssself!" It was a rather unusual way to greet someone, but being well and alive is good. Very good indeed.
Thanatos stood still as Amphi molested touched him, although he was grinning, amused with the way she was acting. In fact, he had to wonder what exactly possessed the ghoul to act like he was fragile, or made up of some crack-to-the-touch material.
"Ah no, I wouldn't worry. The view is rather lovely from here, after all," He laughed, grinning at her before raising an eyebrow at the way she was flushing, coupled with her words. Stroking his chin, he couldn't resist leaning in, perhaps a little too close for comfort, "Something that can't be given in public? My, my... I didn't know that you are that type of ghoul, Amphi~"
"Oh, ignore him, darling," Biskoto narrowed her eyes at the reaper before turning to face Amphi, smiling as she flicked her tongue in and out her mouth, glad to be smelling someone familiar-who-was-not-Thanatos; he might not have been affected much by the events on the island, but she sure did... It was nice to be back in school, around familiar smells and people, "Would you like to go to our room?"

Amphi just sighed in a breath of relief as Biskoto nuzzled her back before nodding. "Yes. It looks like we are all...well and alive I mean." She cocked her head as she continued her soft but thorough examination of the Reaper. Her hand fell to her side though once she finished, she made the mistake of looking up into his face.
"Why are you grinning like that." Frowning at the Reaper, She huffed a breath, her arms crossing under her breast. "I was just...making sure you weren't hurt or anything." She looked away.
"Wha..What!??!" She flushed again, her arms uncrossing to to c**k on her hips. "You...What." Had she knew he was ever interested in the top half of her body, she would've covered it for the sake of covering. It was even odder when he leaned in, causing the mermaid to jerk her head back.
"What type of ghoul....?" She blinked at him, "What type of ghoul is this?" She just stared blankly at him when Biskoto spoke up.
"Hard to ignore your master Biskoto, when he looms over you." She coughed, pressing the Reaper away before flushing. "In...oh...I guess we have to go to your room for me to give it to you then. Um....We...I guess but...I don't...Um..." She looked around now, a little nervous. "I mean I've been in your room so its not that bad but okay, I mean...Um...Okay....Shall we go?"

Thanatos made up his mind; Amphi must be some sort of a molester, who pretends to be innocent, but is actually a pervert... Not that he minded it, really, judging by the grin he was giving her.
"Sure you were," He replied with a light chuckle, straightening up and pulling himself back to his full height, looking down at the mermaid, "I apologize. How could I have doubted your genuine concern for me, Amphi?" Despite his words, his grin had widened, "What is it that you wish to give to me, for you to be this secretive about it?"
He offered her his arm, and waited for her to take it, "Or do you intend on keeping it a secret till we are alone?"
Biskoto narrowed her eyes at the reaper, and then turned to Amphi, "Don't you worry about a thing, darling," She nodded, moving over to affectionately nuzzle her cheek, offering her a snaky smile, "You're a good type of ghoul."

Amphi was sure her point was being missed with the reaper. She was sure only because of that...Grin. He always got that grin when he was thinking things that were WAY...OFF...THE...POINT.
Like She could see him, thinking she was probably...some...touching type of Ghoul. She wasn't really. She just had to make sure he wasn't like her dream, beheaded and Biskoto in tattered strips. Even now her body constricted in almost paralyzed fear before she relaxed. It was a nightmare obviously. If she called Lizzy or Xiu up, they would be fine as well.
"I was...very mush so." She frowned up at him, watching him with hesitant aqua eyes. "Well....I guess I was being silly. I just had a nightmare about you dying and reacted silly...." She rubbed her stress points on her forehead before blinking...and then flushing. She couldn't outright tell him she wanted to give him...her...her emblem. It was embarrassing. AND IN THE HALLWAY NONE THE LESS. Where other people would SEE. OR HEAR.
"I...I will tell you in your room." She flushed another bright red and looked down at his arm, taking it in hers. Okay off they go and then she would give it to him and then...things.
"Thank you Biskoto." She nuzzled back before lowering her voice, "Are the ghouls....he is talking about....are they...um..Loose type? Is that what he meant?" Amphi wasn't sure what loose really meant. She had heard about ghouls though that were more affectionate then others. Maybe he mistook her for that??

"A nightmare, you say?" He echoed, raising an eyebrow at the ghoul; for him, dreams don't always appear as simple as they seem. There wasn't things such as 'sweet dreams', nor were there 'nightmares' - just 'truths' and 'lies'... He paused, leading her away from the common room, and up some stairs before chuckling, speaking in a matter-of-fact manner as he addressed her, "A nightmare is no reality."
He said nothing more on the subject, leaving Biskoto and Amphi to talk, as he moved down the corridor towards his room; he could hear everything that they were talking about, despite the hushed voices. He just pretended not to pay attention, but really... It was like radio, but with less music and more entertainment.
"Oh," She looked a little worried, tilting her head this way and that, trying to decide if it was right to expose sweet, innocent Amphi to such terms, "He wasss, but he wassss only teassssing, darling! Don't take hissss wordsss too sssseriousssly!" She nodded sagely, "You are not a loosssse ghoul."

Amphi nodded her head. "Yes, A nightmare." She blinked at him as he turned away. Not really sure how to react to...his reaction. He seemed really indifferent about the fact that he had died but then, like he said...."It's true, I guess....with the Island, I just seemed to be scared, must've manifest in my nightmare or something. I'm just glad to see you two alive."
She stayed back with Biskoto though and kept her voice low. She could tell Biskoto was being very apprehensive to telling her but...Biskoto, Amphi needed to learn at some point!
"Ah....well I suppose if it seems like I am being a loose ghoul then I must be...." She blinked, "Do loose ghoul's wear clothing like I do too?" She blinked again before looking down..."Oh, well he does tease a lot doesn't he..." Amphi only nodded. She wouldn't take them too seriously but...somewhere in the back of her mind she wondered if she was actually a loose Ghoul.
Oh well. It didn't take them long to reach his room and she stepped in, always surprised by it. That and the shaved foxfires....all of the shaved foxfires...
Her hands wrung together nervously as she looked back up at the Reaper. A shy smile and then she looked back down to her hands.

"Oh, not at all, darling!" Biskoto tried to reassure her with a nuzzle to her cheek, unwilling to let Amphi put herself together with the real loose ghouls, "Yessss, well... But you are a mermaid, you are ussssed to sssuch dresssing! The culture on land is jusssst different from what you are usssed to! That doesss not make you a loossssse ghoul at all!"
Thanatos wanted to say something, but decided to keep quiet for now, since watching Amphi squirm was actually rather fun. As they arrived at his room, he removed her hand from his arm, and closed the door. Turning to face the ghoul, he grinned, "Would you prefer soda, tea or coffee?"
Meanwhile, the foxfires - despite their rather silly-looking shaved exterior - looked as happy as ever to have a guest in the room, happily yapping at Amphi, fluffy tail wagging away behind the minipet gate that kept them enclosed in a separate room.

Amphi giggled at Biskoto's constant nuzzles before turning to kiss her on the muzzle. Don't let anyone tell Amphi that she was affectionate to FAMILIARS. Because she would ALWAYS give Biskoto kisses. "I will take your word for it then! I am not a loose girl." Amphi clenched her fist tightly and stared off into the distance. "Ah, but sometimes-" She looked at Thana and then her outfit, playing with the top. He did say she had a strike on clothes or something like that.
In truth, Clothes were very...VERY CONFINING.
"Ah..." She looked up, startled that Thana was there again before shaking her head. Of course he was there. It was his room. "Tea is fine if you don't mind....But....But not too hot? Because I burned my tongue once and it was bad so I just-" She blinked before shyly adding, "May I have Ice in my tea Please Thana?"
Her attention once again diverted as he went to grab the drinks to the little posse of pets behind the gate. Cooing at them, she went over it and leaned over the gate to pet the pets.
"How come your foxfires are missing so much hair?" Had she asked him this question before?

"As you wish," He chuckled, lifting Biskoto off his shoulders, and onto the floor, before moving over to the corner of the room presumed to be the kitchen, "Peach tea's best with a pinch of sugar, and chilled."
Grabbing two tea bags, he put them in two separate glasses, and added hot water; almost immediately, the fragrance of peach could be smelt in the air. The smell became sweeter after sugar was added to the tea, "Ah, because I shave my foxfires," He didn't look up from the drinks, going on to adding ice cubes, "Their fur is really soft, and perfect for stuffing pillows with. Or even for making into coats." Once the drinks had been prepared, he brought them over to the coffee table, settling them down on top of tea coasters.
"Take a seat," He gestured at the couch as he hovered over an armchair, waiting for his guest to take a seat before him, "You have something you wish to give to me?" He was grinning again.

Amphi smiled shyly as he did as she asked. She didn't want to be happy over something so small but the fact that he didn't get angry at her over it...spoke volumes to her. Especially since she was so aware of the trouble she might've put him through just to do that.
Amphi really looked into the small underlying thought of things. neutral
A sweet heavy scent filled the air, having her migrating from the foxfire gate to the chair where he sat with their tea's. Inhaling the scent, she sipped the outstretched glass and sighed happily. Every since Xiu introduce the fruit tea's, Amphi had become addicted to them.
"This is really sweet, It reminds me of the stone fruits of the sea. Its what Landwalkers call....Peaches yes?" Another lesson from Xiu. She was sipping so happily, hold the cup with both hands that she almost forget that she did in fact have a gift for Thana. Furrowing her eyebrows, she frowned for a minute.
Clearly debating on still drinking her tea or giving him his gift. Gift first then, tea later. Setting the cup down.
"Ah...I heard that when Students are friends and when they care about someone, they give them these." She frowned again in concentration as her FEAR manifested her small pin. Dual fish, a Symbol of the Pisces clan glimmered as it took form.
"Because...Your a friend and I care about you....I thought you'd like it..."
She held it out for him to take, her face flushing with her straight forwardness.

"Yes, peaches. Have you tried it before?" He answered with a soft chuckle, leaning against the back of his armchair. Putting his arms on the arms of the armchair, he steeped his fingers in front of him, raising an eyebrow at Amphi as he watched her.
When she held up the pin, he paused, looking at it through half-lidded eyes; she considered him a friend? She cared about him? He knew - mostly because she was terrible at hiding her emotions, but also because she had pretty much stuck around since their first meeting in that empty classroom... However, he had stuck around for different reasons. He had helped when she needed help, because he was being a gentleman, not out of the goodness of his heart. Not because he "valued what they had".
"Is a token necessary, for something such as friendship? Something based solely on emotions, something so volatile and susceptible to change with the passing of time... Can you guarantee that this pin will still mean something other than obligation in a month? A year?" He asked, standing up to lean over her, one hand reaching out to cup her hand, folding her fingers towards her palm to cover the pin, while his free hand moved to tilt her chin up to face him, "I appreciate your thoughts, but I cannot accept that," He leaned down fully, pressing a soft kiss on her forehead, "I hope that you understand, my little mermaid." For once, he wasn't grinning. He looked as if he was stuck between smiling and frowning, pain and joy; it was probably the most serious Thanatos had ever looked around someone other than his familiar or family member.
It meant that he was being honest for once.

"Not a true peach but Xiu gives me juices and sugary treats with Peaches in them." Amphi nodded. Her hand still outstretched with the pin.
Lots of thoughts went through her head though at his reaction. She wasn't sure how to be, how to act when he said what he did. She even thought for a moment that she was over stepping her bounds when she offered it.
Her conviction was strong though, and she would make him see, even if she was meek herself.
She blinked as he stood up though, her mouth forming the words to say to him. Something....It was then she knew she could only appeal to him with her heart on the matter.
"This isn't just a token Thanatos. It's q promise to you." She smiled gently, shyly. "I have a lot of emotions after all. You probably know this." She looked away still, shuffling in her seat. "I won't guarantee you that in a month something will happen to us, That in a Year we'll remember each other, or that we will...we'll still be good friends." She blinked, would she be friends with those she knew now? With those she felt close to now?
She sincerely hoped so but...even time changed.
"Then I'll wait..." She gripped the pin tighter...could she wait? All the confused emotions for her, one who spoke with her heart more then she did with her mind. She watched the emotions play on Thana's face and reached up, unbashadly even though he kissed her forehead and took a chance.
Either it'd pay off or not.
"....You don't have...um...accept it cause....I'll give it to Biskoto then, for her to hold for you. Because it's for Biskoto too." Amphi made a face too. It was probably low but she liked Biskoto as much as she did Thanatos. To her, one without the other was wrong. But they were two friends, and two friends deserved two pins. She concentrated her fear again, summoning another pin.
"There. Two pins. One for Biskoto and one for Thanatos. A promise that I'll be your friend." She smiled again, "Even when I'm not. Thanatos."
