If there was one more person in the ground dorms that Ofelia wanted to spend time with, it was a hard choice. She liked everyone and tended to assume most everyone liked her (she was kind of awesome in her own mind, okay thanks) but there was someone in specific she wanted to see. This person had seemed rather off to her lately, like there was something wrong, and Ofelia sure as hell was nosy enough to stick her face into business that wasn't hers at all.

Plus, it was weird to admit, but she was a little worried for her friend's sake. Normally Ofelia cared for little unless it directly affected her but at Deus everything affected everyone. There was no time for second thoughts, nothing that could lead to an easy game - if someone was hurting, everyone might eventually be hurting. That being the case, she pulled her phone out (so proud, she could semi text now!) and scrolled down the list until she came to a name she wanted.

Clerise had been better, and that was definitely not an understatement.

Text to Ofelia

girl ive been better
im about to head out to squish some beasties
meet me near the exit?

So with her runic daggers strapped to her waist, just above her borrowed sweats' waistband, Clerise made her way towards the exit. The trainee still hadn't bothered to visit the dorms, and now was maybe a good time.

Thoughts of Clarice lingered on her mind, of shared stories and restful sleep-- but it didn't change the fact that there was a threat out there.

A lot of threats.

When Ofie arrived, she'd find find Clerise humming to herself and balancing her knife on the tip of a finger.

The text message back from Clerise had been a welcome sign, prompting the sun hunter trainee to abandon whatever it was she was doing (which was next to nothing) and head towards the entrance. She was tired of feeling cooped up down here and the chance to clear out more rooms in the dorm area was something she didn't want to pass up. Also there was the whole talking to Clerise who seemed like she was having a hard time. Ofelia didn't like any of her friends to have a hard time, and since she considered everyone her friend she had this nasty habit of her nose being everywhere.

Thank goodness her lip was finally in the last stages of healing. Explaining that injury to people more and more would be getting tiresome, plus rumors and spreading and more death threats. Yadda, yadda. She could have sent a text message back but she didn't, instead going there, and Ofelia had to stop herself from giving Clerise a hug when she saw her standing there, balancing the dagger. "That's pretty rad. Wish Ah could do sommin' like that." The teen settled for clapping at the talent her companion was displaying, a look of honesty on her features. The last time Ofelia had tried to balance anything she got smacked in the face for her troubles.

Long story, not telling.

"So Ah was thinkin' we could catch up while clearin' out the dorms. Ah'm more than ready ta finally be able ta sleep in mah own bed fer a change, how 'bout ya?" Personal bed in a room not full of snoring people? Yes please.
