Here's a summary

As the mermaid princess of the North Pacific (one of the seven mermaid kingdoms), Luchia entrusts a magical pearl to a boy who falls overboard a ship one night. Luchia must travel to the human world to reclaim her pearl and protect the mermaid kingdoms. Using the power of music Luchia is able to protect herself and the mermaid kingdoms from a growing evil force.

Luchia the pink pearl mermaid, came to the land above searching for her lost pearl. (She can't sing with out the pearl)
When she was walking down the beach she saw a young man surfing. His face reminded her of a boy she met when she was little, she saved him when the cruse ship started to sink and she remembred she gave him the pearl to help keep alive. The boy comes to Luchia and said something that emberced her. Next day Luchia went to school and she met a girl named Hanon, Luchia at the moment didnt know Hanon was a mermaid as well.
