Fling, then RP, then lifemating?
Celegras was once a solemn stallion, wandering the lands thinking that all of the cerynei had died and the lands destroyed. When he was found by Calixte, he was amazed that not only did he run across another of his kind, but that she was a member of a cerynei herd that he could be a part of. He was infatuated with Calixte for a time and she reciprocated, but their "love" turned into platonic friendship and Calixte has happily moved on. Celegras is a Patrol Leader and spends most of his time on his own, protecting the edges of the herd's territory and finding new and safer ways for them to cross from one territory to the next for the changing seasons. It can be a lonely existence. The work is satisfying, but Celegras often finds himself wishing for more. A companion, some sort of adventure - something!
Where Tethys could come in:
One day on one such patrol Celegras hears a noise just beyond his patrol route. Curious, he goes to find out what it was. He is cautious, but curious and when finally he finds the source he is delighted! Company! And such a lovely and intriguing mare. Perhaps she is caught, tangled in the briers and he helps her. In return, perhaps she offers a story, which he is delighted to hear. He is called home, work to be done, but tomorrow is a day off for him, perhaps she could come and entertain him with another story? And he could share some of his own.
