The dark pelted lioness walked slowly, eyes focused on the road ahead as she walked, quietly, studying the land. Her red eyes looked around, drinking in the view as she moved deftly. It was peaceful and quiet, the female walking through grass like nothing.
It was night, her element, and the air was cool, ruffling her fur as she walked, the former demon smiling contentedly as she walked, smiling faintly. It was a good, quiet night... And she was happy. Yes... Tonight was brilliant, and she sighed, stretching.
"Ah... Lady night... You never fail me."

This night, Morpheus was the only companion to the lion who lay beneath a tree, sleeping off a full belly. Success in one area, failure in another, but as his sleep was untroubled, one could guess which weighed more on him.
Still, he did not sleep so deeply that the sound of another body moving nearby couldn't wake him. A large male, he didn't worry over much about his safety, but he was still very much a rogue on his own... it was not beyond the realm of possibility that he could be ambushed and injured, something he could not afford.
Laying still, he cracked his orange eyes open, keeping his breathing soft and low, waiting for a hint about what sort of a creature was out, prowling in the darkness.

Hera didn't notice the male, not at first, as she moved, muscles flexing and unflexing as she moved, walking at a leisurely pace. She enjoyed simply moving, and it pleased Tiberius as well, the female smirking calmly as she enjoyed herself a bit longer, closing her eyes as a breeze flicked a faint scent, and she stopped. Another lion nearby, and possibly awake. A smile licked her maw as she looked around, walking. If he was pale, perhaps she could use a slave. If not, well, perhaps it could do with sending to the demons, or even toying with, and she looked about calmly, smile still on her maw.
"I smell you.... Do come out... It's dreadfully lonely." She crooned, voice smooth, almost too smooth. This was a good night indeed.

Zeus rolled smoothly to put his paws under him, pushing to his paws with a powerful, but controlled movement. That voice he had heard, floating out of the night from the creature that had woken him, had been female... a soft, lovely voice that hinted at something a little darker.
His steps careful, his eyes searching the darkness, the lone male stepped from his sleeping place as he settled a mantle of confident ease about himself. Sometimes, all it took to decide the outcome of an encounter was how one approached it. Often, putting on a show of confidence was all it took. A lack of fear of what one was facing.
"No wonder you are lonely, Lady... You aren't by my side." Zeus said with a base rumble, shaking out his star flecked mane. A masculine smile curved his mouth as he looked for the speaker, wondering what sort of a lioness he had the good fortune to come upon him this night.

Hera started, but quickly regained her composure as she smiled coyly, looking in the direction of the voice. Ah, a male. Well. This could be a fine diversion, and she smirked, a shadowly look on her face as she stretched, just-so.
"Mmmmm. You think so?" She purred, smirking softly. "Care to test that theory?" She shifted, to allow herself to be noticed, but made no threatening motion. This could be entertaining after all.

The orange male let his eyes linger on her dark form, barely a shadow in the darkness, before he dropped his eyes to his paw, lifting and spreading the toes nonchalantly. She was a beautiful female, but beauty could hide things that are best left well enough alone... A strange female, out alone in the middle of the night... there was obviously more to her than was immediately visible.
"I have been told I am good company to keep." He drawled, his tail gently flicking behind him. "I do believe you could do worse... though perhaps that is why you are alone? The company you parted with was... less than stellar?" He smiled as he joked with her, charming and charismatic. Not all ladies were won by brute strength, though he was no stranger to that. Some took a different kind of wooing, and those skill could be applied to many areas of life. Flies and honey and all that.
"I would ask your name, Lady. Unless you prefer me to call you ... Nyx." He smiled again at his joke. "My dear Lady of the Night..."

Hera had been thinking of a reply for the male, remaining calm. She was usually calm and collected, however, at this time, it didn't matter-- when he spoke again, she was flattered. A bit orange, but this male pleased her, very much indeed, and she smirked.
"I think I can be convinced." She smirked slightly, the edge off a bit. "Both for company and to allow your name." She sat, tail curling around herself, trying to work out how a male could be so damn disarming.
