 Wystan walked along side his mate as they came to arriving at their destination, the beach. His hooves stopped under him as the grass turned into sand. They had arrived. The sun reflecting off of the rippling waters blinded him for a second. "We are here my love," He spoke softly turning his head in her direction and nuzzled her. The reflected light upon her scales made her look exhilarating.
The sparkling of her scales reminded him of their first adventure together. There exploration of that cave when they were foals. Ever since that day Aisha seemed to have a love for collecting pretty things, and he hoped that on this little trip of theirs he could find her a shell to add to her collection.
Aside from collecting shells Wystan also had two other reasons why he took his mate to the beach, but those would have to wait until the right moment.

 The young-ish mare had made the journey safely with her mate. While the forests were nice and she loved her cave that was still filled and getting fuller with her many treasures. She had made reason to bring some of the stones from her old home with her. As the trees broke to expose the white sandy beach, Ashia's eyes opened wider to try and see everything to once. She had been to a beach many years past with her family, but that was at a lake. Here this was larger and bluer then the lake.
"It is beautiful here my love. more beautiful then it was back home." Ashia nuzzled her mate back, playfully pulling at his mane.
Ashia moved out from beneath the tree cover and out onto the white sand. The sun was warm over her jewel colored back and it felt really nice. But not as nice as it was to travel with her mate. She loved Wystan more then anything and she was going to show him that sometime. She just wasn't sure how she could. She would figure something out, but for now, she would just show her love the best way she can.
"Think when we find our daughters, we should bring them here as well? Have a sort of family come together?" She looked back to Wystan with a smile, though inside she missed her parents and the nomadic herd. She wondered where they were now and if they were alright. "I bet they would love it here."

"It is," He agreed to his mate. "Still your more beautiful," For someone reason he always had to reassure himself and his mate that she was more beautiful then anything in his eyes. I guess you could say it was one way the stallion showed his affection towards his mate.
"I think we should," He agreed. "It would be nice to have the family back together again. I miss the little ones running about." Hinting at the fact that he wanted children again. Possibly a male this time, not that he didn't love his daughters which he did dearly, it was just that relating to them was hard at times. Since he wasn't a female himself.

Ashia giggled as she looked back at her mate as he spoke of having more little hooves running around. She too missed her daughters and hoped one day to have more. She also wanted to someday have a son, then again, she didn't mind which were born. As long as they were happy and healthy. Lowering her head a little, she had to think back to her parents, she hadn't seen then in like forever. She hoped that they were well in their own way.
"We will have more kids, one day. We will have a son that you can show stallion things to." She turned her face away blushing not really knowing what went on within the minds of stallions. She had a feeling that it was just thoughts of what sort of mare they wanted and that sort of thing.
