Well, they're not. Your routine medical training is performed by mutilating live goats and pigs without adequate anesthetic. These animals are put on tables and have their limbs cut off with tree clippers, stabbed repeatedly, cut, and shot in the face all while moaning in pain as evidence these animals are not knocked out cold. Ten thousand animals lives are needlessly and cruelly wasted every year to train these war mongers. Aside from the complete lack of morality and compassion, this is also not adequate training to be used to save human lives. There are high tech human simulators that breath and bleed that could easily replace murdering animals. Here's the petition and if you want more facts there is a link to the actual video.

when i just watched this i was gonna cry my eyes out! why would anyone hur any animals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its sooo freaken mean!!! im still grossed by it! i am sorry im yellin i just cant stand the fact that anyone would hurt an animale

Anyone that can do that to an animal without feeling guilty is no hero in my eyes.

I really don't see how anyone could justify this. I recall my fiance's sister mentioning something like this about when she was training in the air force. She admitted operating on sedated pigs and something about not talking about it because "If PETA found out they'd make a big deal about it." Really? Excuse animal lovers for taking it personally when you waste those lives and trying to justify it with mediocre doses of anesthetic. Why is it so normal to be so biased about animal rights?
