LOST CLAN CREATION FORM
Name: Mmur
Nicknames: --
Gender: Male.
Age: Appears to be in his early 20s, but his actual age is a mystery.
Original Clan: Famine
Job Role: Colony Soldier
Personality:
Mmur is a flighty, imaginative individual who, until very recently, preferred being alone to making nice and mingling in groups, despite his colony's penchant for working together. The loss of the majority of the people he knew and had any loyalty to has caused him to cling to those who remain, albeit awkwardly. He still displays a lot of the tendencies a loner might and lacks many of the traits that would ease his acceptance into the new society he finds himself a part of. Doing his duty and protecting the Horsemen who have survived takes his mind off of those he has lost, though he can sometimes drive others close to exasperation with his insistence on assisting.
Combat-focused
There's a reason why Mmur is a soldier. He's quick, stealthy, and realistic when it comes to recognizing what he can't accomplish physically. He might not be well suited for the front lines, but you'd better believe he'll be one of the first to take the opportunity to sneak up behind his opponents and snap every last one of their necks in a tidy little row. He is ruthlessly efficient and does not question any orders given by his superiors, even though few of those orders involve doling out death these days. (The loss of his home and resulting FEAR drain have made him weaker in battle. This is something that Mmur finds uncomfortable but not impossible to overcome, seeing as how the alternative was no longer being alive.)
Creative
When he's not soldiering, Mmur likes to keep himself occupied, and what better way to do so than to make... things? He enjoys everything from scribbling pictures in the sand with a stick to composing catchy ditties, and when he's run out of ideas for ditties, he'll do a little dance to one of the old ones instead. Most of his work is fleeting—sand shifts and Mmur knows nothing of the notation he might use to document his musical creations—but every so often he'll make something more permanent, a treasure that he might keep and cherish himself or give to someone who has impressed him.
Recklessly Curious
Mmur will try anything once. If it's been a while since he's experienced something he disliked, he'll eventually give it another go, even if he's already pretty sure his opinion hasn't changed. Mmur doesn't commit potentially stupid acts for attention or badass points, he is genuinely interested in how the world works and doesn't like to accept second hand accounts as to how something feels when he can feel it for himself. His curiosity is very nearly overwhelming, and though he manages to keep himself from being completely ruled by it (especially while he is doing his duty), Mmur is almost always willing to risk his own safety in order to grok something new.
Opinionated
In the course of performing his job as a guard, Mmur has borne witness to political intrigue, strange spells, and forbidden magics. The pride he takes in his work keeps him from expressing many opinions about these things publicly, but you had better believe he has a lot of them, and those who have gained his trust have certainly heard all about what he thinks... many, many times.
Inappropriate
Prior to the near-extermination of his clan, Mmur spent a great deal of his time guarding, fetching, and fighting, none of which involved a lot of personable chatter. Like a homeschooled nerd, Mmur has a tendency to brag, make jokes that aren't all that funny, and laugh too loud. Sorry, homeschooled nerds.
Mount Form: Mmur's mount is a very dark brown spotted hyena with visible and somewhat extensive rot across his hindquarters. He perches rather high on the creature's shoulders and prefers to stand while he's riding, giving him a sort of overly alert and suspicious stance when he's mounted.
If non-War non-horse mounts aren't allowed:
Mmur's mount is a slender horse similar in patterning to the kiang with visible and somewhat extensive rot across his hindquarters. While the animal's coat pattern is similar, the creature itself is larger and his hair is much darker, with the white portions of the kiang's patterning replaced by dark brown and the brown parts replaced with black.
Weapon Form: His weapon is a simple segmented whip. Each of its eight sections is made of a dark metal and has a sharpened edge.
FEAR ATTACK:
Hungry Like the Whip (Swift Strikes)
Mmur's whip cuts through the air several times in rapid succession, physically striking his opponent if they are close enough. Since the attack is FEAR based, it also sends out arcs of concussive force that can hit his attacker even if they are standing out of melee range.
Physical Description:
Eye Colour:
Glowing blue.
Hair Colour/Style:
Just shy of shoulder length, dark brown.
Skin Colour:
Tanned and decorated with an abundance of tattoos and painted markings.
Clothing Style/Colours:
He prefers to have on as little as possible, but those articles of "clothing" he does wear are usually in the colors of the desert.
Extra:
Mmur has worked it out so that the glow emanating from his eyes shines through the empty sockets of his helm, and it's even rumored he can see through them when he has it on. This bit of bleached skull is his most prized possession, but even so, he insists he is not particularly attached to it, claiming that he could just put together another if the need arose. That might be true, but it would probably be best not to test his devotion to the bony helm at the moment, considering how much he's already lost. He's also 5'10". I really don't know where else to put that bit of information, sorry. :)
