History: Hinanji was born to middle aged parents. His mother was 47 and his father was 48. His mother died in the birthing process, leaving him in the care of his father.
He only had one sibling, a sister, Deisha, who was ten when he was born. She was caring and protective of him, watching over him at every waking moment. She even slept in his room on his floor to watch over him. The young girl took on a motherly role with the young boy, washing, bathing, feeding and clothing him, she did almost everything for him. She saw her younger brother as her beloved Mother's last gift to her.
Hinanji's father, on the otherhand, while a kind man, was also strict, and harsh on mistakes. When Hinanji turned ten, Rikugi gave him his cross and began teaching him how to form, maintain, and fire his bow. The boy excelled and his father was pleased greatly. When Hinanji would make mistakes, however, his father would become quite angry and make the boy drill for hours and hours on end, not letting him stop until he either passed out or hit his targets one hundred times in a row.
Seven years after his training began, hollows and Arrancar swarmed their home, and the three fought most of them off valiantly, until an arrancar, both powerful and cruel approached the house through a wave of hollows. It struck down Rikugi, and moved to do the same to Hinanji, when Deisha threw herself in the way of the blow, saving her brother's ife at the cost of her own. She smiled, kissing her brother's forehead as she breathed her last, still protecting her beloved sibling.
The arrancar left, either thinking her job was done or feeling some odd pity for the boy. Hinanji buried his family, attending their funeral and crying deeply... it is said that his manifested bow, once blue, turned a deep, crimson red on that day...
It has been seventeen years since that night. After almost two decades of constant training, Hinanji is now leader of the Quincies, and the most powerful among them. Some even rumor that his power rivals that of the Head Captain...

Attacks:
Klavier (クラヴィーア, Kuravīa; German for "piano"): A technique where Hinanji fires a multitude of arrows one-handed and at rapid speed. They can be augmented by Hinanji's other skills. This technique is so second nature to Hinanji that he can use it without thinking. Each arrow is about as strong as a bala fired by an Espada level Arrancar.
Doner Regen (Thunder Rain): A small amount of electricity is bound to each arrow, each one packing the approximate voltage of a weak tazer. Automatically happens. The electricity in his arrows is based in the friction that produces static when the arrow launches from the bow. He amplifies the charge in each arrow by allowing a small portion of his Reiryoku to flow into the current and go with it. He can push this to extreme levels, most notably with his Heilig Sturmer attack.
Schneesturm Kreuz (Blizzard Cross): The user fires arrows vibrating in a fashion that draws heat from the atmosphere and causes ice particles to form in the air around the point of impact. Can be used to restrain an opponent, or inflict serious harm, depending on how much reiryoku he uses in each arrow. The ice is created by vibrating the arrows in a particular pattern that draws in surrounding heat, thus making the air around them colder. Once it reaches a certain point, Ice forms by freezing the water vapor in the air solid. The effect is produced more quickly by applying reiatsu in a fashion that increases the speed of the vibrations, therefore increasing the speed at which the ice is produced.
Wolf Biss (Wolf Bite): Large amounts of arrows are fired from above and below the target at various angles, done so by highspeed repetition of Hirenkyaku. The maximum firing load is 1000 arrows simultaneously, which is repeated every four seconds, meaning he can fire up to 15000 arrows in a minute. Each arrow is about as strong as a Sokatsui in destructive force. One might not hurt you, but 1000 will do the trick. All 15,000 could severely wound even High Clark, if he didn't defend himself. The cooldown for this attack is 4 posts. He can use it up to a whole minute (15,000 arrows) But doing so makes the cooldown 8 posts. It leaves him moderately drained if he uses it for a whole minute, and uses up most of the Reishi he has drained. If he didn't have any Reishi stolen, he will use up about a quarter of his total reiryoku reserves in order to fire for one minute continuously.
Adler Streik (Eagle Strike): Hinanji pours a tremendous amount of energy into a single, fast, powerful shot that can pierce almost any defense. Being Hinanji's single strongest attack, this move takes either a large portion of his own Reiryoku, or large amounts of reishi from the area. He will either use up half of his total reiryoku reserves, or all of the reishi/reiatsu he has accumulated and stored, and then some of his own reiryoku. He must wait and charge this skill for about thirty seconds(1-2 posts) before he can fire it, or else it will not be as powerful, meaning he will only use it if he has a reliable partner to buy him time. This ability could easily kill any foe it hits, but since it is so draining and tricky to use, Hinanji only uses it when he is already well into a battle. Opponents with overwhelming defenses could still block it and live, but not without taking some notable damage. And foes with great speed can avoid it, but only just. The cooldown is twenty posts or an extended time skip.
Heilig Stürmer (Sacred Stormer): Hinanji fires arrows from every direction simultaneously by a mixture of Hirenkyaku and using his Seele Schneider to fire arrows. He plants each one in the ground around his foe and uses their ability to deconstruct reishi to fire arrows from them remotely. By using this skill, Schneesturm Kreuz, and Doner Regen together he can draw out lightning through it's natural means. By shooting his arrows at each other, Hinanji can create a strong electrical current above his foes, and by shooting arrows at each other below his target, he guides the current right through his foe. The lighting is not reiryoku based, and therefore ignores the defenses of abilities like hierro. To do this, however, Hinanji needs to fire almost one hundred thousand arrows. This technique allows him to do just that, but in doing so, he uses up almost twenty percent of his total reiryoku reserves, or an equivalent amount of stored reishi/reiatsu. Each arrow only has the power of the Sho hado spell, but he can fire 20000 arrows in about 3 seconds. Meaning this attack must last for about fifteen seconds (one post by the target) for it to create a bolt of lightning capable of doing any real damage. And even then, the arrows must strike each other to create the charge, so his opponent needs to be in the right spot for the lightning to strike properly. The lightning itself is only about as strong as a Raikoho, but since it ignores Hierro and other similar techniques, it can be dangerous in the right situations. It is still natural lightning, and therefore follows the laws of nature pertaining to electricity. The cooldown on this ability is 10 posts.
Abilities:
Last Quincy Status: Hinanji is able to use many Quincy techniques and items to augment his abilities, including presumably high-level techniques unknown to the Seireitei. This is caused by the fact that regardless of his personal wishes and intent, he has inherited all Quincy abilities and techniques from his father, Rikugi; after his passing, he has claimed the title of Last Quincy.
Ransōtengai: This is a high-level technique that allows the user to control their body parts using strings of Reiryoku controlled by their brain, forming lines or strings out of countless Reishi. By using this technique, the user can control their body as one would a puppet, allowing them to move freely despite paralysis, broken limbs, or any other force that would impede normal movement. Hinanji is unpracticed, but has taught himself the skill's theory once or twice. Any use of it in the future would be the first time he had ever actually performed the move.
Hirenkyaku: To perform the technique, the user gathers spiritual particles under their feet and rides them to the desired location. Like the air-walking skill displayed by most Arrancar and Shinigami, it can also be used to hover or fly for long distances. Hirenkyaku enables Quincies to keep up with, and overpower faster opponents depending on the user's skill. However, there is apparently more use for the technique than simply moving quickly.
Master Archer: As the Last of the Quincy, Hinanji possess all the skill of the previous generation. His skills in archery are determined by his ease of one handed firing as well as precision attacking a target without inflicting any harm to anything but his target. He is highly precise enough to hit a single leaf on a tree from a mile away.
Reishi Absorption: Hinanji as a Quincy primarily absorbs spiritual energy from the atmosphere, and combines it with his own spiritual energy to form weapons. He has an easier time collecting this energy in environments with higher concentrations of spiritual particles, such as Soul Society or Hueco Mundo. To a sufficiently powerful Quincy, there is no difference between spiritual particles and spiritual energy as a source of power. He can manipulate spiritual energy for offensive purposes.
This includes the spiritual bodies of Hollows and Shinigami, and the two planes of existence, Hueco Mundo and the Soul Society in their entirety. Reishi is invisible to mortals (such as Humans with the exception of spiritually aware ones such as the Quincy); they can, however, still interact with normal matter and produce physical effects. It is noted, however, that reishi and atoms do not mix well.
There is a certain amount of reishi in the Human World, too. Free reishi tends to be found in places closer to nature. Quincy collect this reishi to use for combat in the form of Spirit Weapon. Reishi in the atmosphere is also able to be controlled freely, allowing a person to gather it under their feet so that they can stand in air.
Platform Manifestation: An instance of Hirenkyaku that allows the user to create a platform of reishi under their feet. It can be used in the Garganta, and Hueco Mundo.
Blut: By making reishi flow directly into their blood vessels, users of this technique are able to drastically increase their attack and defense power. However, despite the significant danger this potentially presents to one's opponents, Blut possesses one major flaw. Because the independent forms of the technique for attack and defense operate using two different reishi systems, they cannot be employed simultaneously.
Blut Vene: The defensive form of Blut that grants the user inhuman durability, represented by a faint pattern tracing the veins beneath the surface of their skin, which is only visible on the afflicted area when struck. If consciously kept at full power, even attacks delivered by a Shinigami's Bankai can potentially be negated completely.
However, despite the considerable defense afforded by this technique, it seemingly isn't absolute and can be torn using sufficient power. Hinanji has little use with this technique, so his control is only partial. He can currently only block a captain level Shinigami's Shikai attacks. He can only maintain it easily for up to 5 minutes at a time (ten posts). From there it becomes progressively harder to maintain.
Blut Arterie: The offensive form of Blut that grants the user inhuman attack power. This technique augments a Quincy's offensive power anywhere from twenty five to sixty percent, depending on the user. Hinanji has trained extensively with this technique, so he can use it safely for up to three hours (or forty posts). He can use it longer than he can use Blut Vene because it fits his personal ideals as a fighter more. It augments his attack strength by about fifty five percent.
Quincy: Vollstandig: Stimmeniel (Voice of God):
Complete Reishi Dominance: Gives one the capability of absorbing a large amount of Reishi at the tip of his spirit weapon to use in a powerful attack. In this form, a Quincy's absorption of Reishi exponentially increases. He can absorb the trees, sand, rocks, and even the buildings in Hueco Mundo or Soul Society, as well as Orihime Inoue's Santen Kisshun.
Sklaverei: Uses the most basic ability to gather Reishi in the most powerful way; by enslaving it. It can literally tear away the components which make up spiritual based objects, such as those which make up Hueco Mundo and Soul Society, as well as the bodies of spiritual beings, such as Ayon. When the body of a spiritual being is affected by this power, a Quincy can assume the characteristics and associated capabilities of his victim. Hinanji refuses to this this ability on any sentient being in existence, and as such, his use of this ability is limited in that aspect.
Spirit Weapon: A Quincy can produce a Spirit Weapon, made entirely of Reishi, from the gauntlet on his left wrist. He can use this weapon to fire his Heilig Pfeil.
Enhanced Spiritual Awareness: A Quincy is capable of sensing Reiatsu to a far greater level, allowing them to surpass any ability which would hide one's presence if he is more powerful than the opponent in question.
Quincy: Letzt Stil:
By removing the artificial repulsion to spiritual energy that the glove placed on them, the Quincy user will experience an abrupt increase in power as their reishi gathering abilities (which were greatly increased during the Sanrei Glove training) absorb huge amounts of energy, along with a change in appearance. The Quincy gains a more battle-ready form of the standard Quincy attire, with the Sanrei Glove's bow separating from itself and remaining in the users hand, and what appears to be armor covering their left side and arm. This shoulder armor is a silver color, bearing the common blue Quincy cross, while the white clothing area of the outfit contains rows of parallel blue vertical lines. A blue, flame-like object resembling a quiver of pure reiryoku forms on the Quincy's right shoulder. It collects large amounts of reiryoku, reiatsu and reishi from its surroundings, in essence storing "arrows" or the energy for them. Any arrows formed from this energy appear noticeably solid, at least when unfired, rather than just the standard bolts of energy.
While in this form, the Quincy will absorb energy from their surroundings at such an alarming rate that they can actually deconstruct spiritual objects, such as buildings in Seireitei.
Spirit Weapon Augmentation: The power of the user's arrows are drastically increased: a standard arrow was enough to push a Captain, Mayuri Kurotsuchi, into releasing his Bankai. A charged arrow, arguably at full power, was enough to cut Mayuri's Konjiki Ashisogi j**ō completely in half, and continue traveling until it pierced a huge hole into his chest. Even then, the arrow still had enough power left over to cause large-scale damage to the structures in Seireitei.
Reishi Dominance: As stated by Kurotsuchi, Uryū was no longer using collection of reishi, but he now had "dominance" over them. Using the Letzt Stil, a Quincy can go past their mortal limits and break down spiritual structures, such as buildings, for their own power.
Hirenkyaku Augmentation: The Flying Screen Step technique is much faster, allowing Uryū to get a shot on Captain Kurotsuchi with relative ease. Using Hirenkyaku in conjunction with their augmented arrows, a Quincy in their Letzt Stil becomes a deadly opponent to all but the most powerful opponents/threats, as they are now at least stronger than a captain
Drawbacks: The Letzt Stil is a double-edged sword, as no human body is capable of handling the immense power that it provides. After a short period of use, the Quincy's body will forcibly seal itself off from all spiritual power as a measure of self-preservation, effectively robbing the Quincy of their abilities. The Letzt Stil is only used as a last resort, because even though it is possible to regain Quincy powers afterward, the process is exceedingly dangerous.
Equipment:
Seele Schneider: are sword-like weapons used by the Quincy. Hinanji carries five with him.
The Seele Schneider is a thin, silver-colored weapon that, when activated, sports a glowing blue blade. On impact, the union of spirit particles in whatever has been cut loosens, making this a tool which makes spirit particles easier to steal away. For a Quincy, absorbing spirit particles from the environment to strengthen one's weapon is absolutely imperative and the Seele Schneider is the strongest embodiment of this process. It is longer than a standard arrow and functions something like a chainsaw; the blade is composed entirely of reishi, which is constantly revolving around 3,000,000 times per second. Rumors have it that Quincies become stronger when using them.
Sprenger: This technique uses five Seele Schneider to create a pentagon-shaped seal which, when activated, causes a massive explosion within its borders. The Seele Schneider function as accumulators, gathering the necessary amount of spirit particles to create the explosion with the liquid inside a Gintō acting as the trigger.
However, there's also a drawback. The preparations needed to successfully execute this technique, combined with the charging time for the Seele Schneider, make Sprenger's use in battle impractical unless the user has a partner that can stall their opponent in order to buy time. It is one of the most powerful Quincy attacks seen so far.
Hollow Bait: Hinanji carries three pieces with him at all times.
Ginto: Hinanji carries fifteen of these with him at all times, and has several hundred in his office. God help anyone who tries to break into that building.

This technique allows him to do just that, but in doing so, he uses up almost twenty percent of his total reiryoku reserves, or an equivalent amount of stored reishi/reiatsu. Each arrow only has the power of the Sho hado spell, but he can fire 20000 arrows in about 3 seconds. Meaning this attack must last for about fifteen seconds (one post by the target) for it to create a bolt of lightning capable of doing any real damage. And even then, the arrows must strike each other to create the charge, so his opponent needs to be in the right spot for the lightning to strike properly. The lightning itself is only about as strong as a Raikoho, but since it ignores Hierro and other similar techniques, it can be dangerous in the right situations. It is still natural lightning, and therefore follows the laws of nature pertaining to electricity. The cooldown on this ability is 10 posts.
Abilities:
Last Quincy Status: Hinanji is able to use many Quincy techniques and items to augment his abilities, including presumably high-level techniques unknown to the Seireitei. This is caused by the fact that regardless of his personal wishes and intent, he has inherited all Quincy abilities and techniques from his father, Rikugi; after his passing, he has claimed the title of Last Quincy.
Ransōtengai: This is a high-level technique that allows the user to control their body parts using strings of Reiryoku controlled by their brain, forming lines or strings out of countless Reishi. By using this technique, the user can control their body as one would a puppet, allowing them to move freely despite paralysis, broken limbs, or any other force that would impede normal movement. Hinanji is unpracticed, but has taught himself the skill's theory once or twice. Any use of it in the future would be the first time he had ever actually performed the move.
Hirenkyaku: To perform the technique, the user gathers spiritual particles under their feet and rides them to the desired location. Like the air-walking skill displayed by most Arrancar and Shinigami, it can also be used to hover or fly for long distances. Hirenkyaku enables Quincies to keep up with, and overpower faster opponents depending on the user's skill. However, there is apparently more use for the technique than simply moving quickly.
Master Archer: As the Last of the Quincy, Hinanji possess all the skill of the previous generation. His skills in archery are determined by his ease of one handed firing as well as precision attacking a target without inflicting any harm to anything but his target. He is highly precise enough to hit a single leaf on a tree from a mile away.
Reishi Absorption: Hinanji as a Quincy primarily absorbs spiritual energy from the atmosphere, and combines it with his own spiritual energy to form weapons. He has an easier time collecting this energy in environments with higher concentrations of spiritual particles, such as Soul Society or Hueco Mundo. To a sufficiently powerful Quincy, there is no difference between spiritual particles and spiritual energy as a source of power. He can manipulate spiritual energy for offensive purposes.
This includes the spiritual bodies of Hollows and Shinigami, and the two planes of existence, Hueco Mundo and the Soul Society in their entirety. Reishi is invisible to mortals (such as Humans with the exception of spiritually aware ones such as the Quincy); they can, however, still interact with normal matter and produce physical effects. It is noted, however, that reishi and atoms do not mix well.
There is a certain amount of reishi in the Human World, too. Free reishi tends to be found in places closer to nature. Quincy collect this reishi to use for combat in the form of Spirit Weapon. Reishi in the atmosphere is also able to be controlled freely, allowing a person to gather it under their feet so that they can stand in air.
Platform Manifestation: An instance of Hirenkyaku that allows the user to create a platform of reishi under their feet. It can be used in the Garganta, and Hueco Mundo.
Blut: By making reishi flow directly into their blood vessels, users of this technique are able to drastically increase their attack and defense power. However, despite the significant danger this potentially presents to one's opponents, Blut possesses one major flaw. Because the independent forms of the technique for attack and defense operate using two different reishi systems, they cannot be employed simultaneously.
Blut Vene: The defensive form of Blut that grants the user inhuman durability, represented by a faint pattern tracing the veins beneath the surface of their skin, which is only visible on the afflicted area when struck. If consciously kept at full power, even attacks delivered by a Shinigami's Bankai can potentially be negated completely.
However, despite the considerable defense afforded by this technique, it seemingly isn't absolute and can be torn using sufficient power. Hinanji has little use with this technique, so his control is only partial. He can currently only block a captain level Shinigami's Shikai attacks. He can only maintain it easily for up to 5 minutes at a time (ten posts). From there it becomes progressively harder to maintain.
Blut Arterie: The offensive form of Blut that grants the user inhuman attack power. This technique augments a Quincy's offensive power anywhere from twenty five to sixty percent, depending on the user. Hinanji has trained extensively with this technique, so he can use it safely for up to three hours (or forty posts). He can use it longer than he can use Blut Vene because it fits his personal ideals as a fighter more. It augments his attack strength by about fifty five percent.
Quincy: Vollstandig: Stimmeniel (Voice of God):
Complete Reishi Dominance: Gives one the capability of absorbing a large amount of Reishi at the tip of his spirit weapon to use in a powerful attack. In this form, a Quincy's absorption of Reishi exponentially increases. He can absorb the trees, sand, rocks, and even the buildings in Hueco Mundo or Soul Society, as well as Orihime Inoue's Santen Kisshun.
Sklaverei: Uses the most basic ability to gather Reishi in the most powerful way; by enslaving it. It can literally tear away the components which make up spiritual based objects, such as those which make up Hueco Mundo and Soul Society, as well as the bodies of spiritual beings, such as Ayon. When the body of a spiritual being is affected by this power, a Quincy can assume the characteristics and associated capabilities of his victim. Hinanji refuses to this this ability on any sentient being in existence, and as such, his use of this ability is limited in that aspect.
Spirit Weapon: A Quincy can produce a Spirit Weapon, made entirely of Reishi, from the gauntlet on his left wrist. He can use this weapon to fire his Heilig Pfeil.
Enhanced Spiritual Awareness: A Quincy is capable of sensing Reiatsu to a far greater level, allowing them to surpass any ability which would hide one's presence if he is more powerful than the opponent in question.
Quincy: Letzt Stil:
By removing the artificial repulsion to spiritual energy that the glove placed on them, the Quincy user will experience an abrupt increase in power as their reishi gathering abilities (which were greatly increased during the Sanrei Glove training) absorb huge amounts of energy, along with a change in appearance. The Quincy gains a more battle-ready form of the standard Quincy attire, with the Sanrei Glove's bow separating from itself and remaining in the users hand, and what appears to be armor covering their left side and arm. This shoulder armor is a silver color, bearing the common blue Quincy cross, while the white clothing area of the outfit contains rows of parallel blue vertical lines. A blue, flame-like object resembling a quiver of pure reiryoku forms on the Quincy's right shoulder. It collects large amounts of reiryoku, reiatsu and reishi from its surroundings, in essence storing "arrows" or the energy for them. Any arrows formed from this energy appear noticeably solid, at least when unfired, rather than just the standard bolts of energy.
While in this form, the Quincy will absorb energy from their surroundings at such an alarming rate that they can actually deconstruct spiritual objects, such as buildings in Seireitei.
Spirit Weapon Augmentation: The power of the user's arrows are drastically increased: a standard arrow was enough to push a Captain, Mayuri Kurotsuchi, into releasing his Bankai. A charged arrow, arguably at full power, was enough to cut Mayuri's Konjiki Ashisogi j**ō completely in half, and continue traveling until it pierced a huge hole into his chest. Even then, the arrow still had enough power left over to cause large-scale damage to the structures in Seireitei.
Reishi Dominance: As stated by Kurotsuchi, Uryū was no longer using collection of reishi, but he now had "dominance" over them. Using the Letzt Stil, a Quincy can go past their mortal limits and break down spiritual structures, such as buildings, for their own power.
Hirenkyaku Augmentation: The Flying Screen Step technique is much faster, allowing Uryū to get a shot on Captain Kurotsuchi with relative ease. Using Hirenkyaku in conjunction with their augmented arrows, a Quincy in their Letzt Stil becomes a deadly opponent to all but the most powerful opponents/threats, as they are now at least stronger than a captain
Drawbacks: The Letzt Stil is a double-edged sword, as no human body is capable of handling the immense power that it provides. After a short period of use, the Quincy's body will forcibly seal itself off from all spiritual power as a measure of self-preservation, effectively robbing the Quincy of their abilities. The Letzt Stil is only used as a last resort, because even though it is possible to regain Quincy powers afterward, the process is exceedingly dangerous.
Equipment:
Seele Schneider: are sword-like weapons used by the Quincy. Hinanji carries five with him.
The Seele Schneider is a thin, silver-colored weapon that, when activated, sports a glowing blue blade. On impact, the union of spirit particles in whatever has been cut loosens, making this a tool which makes spirit particles easier to steal away. For a Quincy, absorbing spirit particles from the environment to strengthen one's weapon is absolutely imperative and the Seele Schneider is the strongest embodiment of this process. It is longer than a standard arrow and functions something like a chainsaw; the blade is composed entirely of reishi, which is constantly revolving around 3,000,000 times per second. Rumors have it that Quincies become stronger when using them.
Sprenger: This technique uses five Seele Schneider to create a pentagon-shaped seal which, when activated, causes a massive explosion within its borders. The Seele Schneider function as accumulators, gathering the necessary amount of spirit particles to create the explosion with the liquid inside a Gintō acting as the trigger.
However, there's also a drawback. The preparations needed to successfully execute this technique, combined with the charging time for the Seele Schneider, make Sprenger's use in battle impractical unless the user has a partner that can stall their opponent in order to buy time. It is one of the most powerful Quincy attacks seen so far.
Hollow Bait: Hinanji carries three pieces with him at all times.
Ginto: Hinanji carries fifteen of these with him at all times, and has several hundred in his office. God help anyone who tries to break into that building.
