That day that Goofy had met the lioness on the beach and heard tales of jelly fish and their strange powers of transformation didn't seem that long ago. Goofy had not turned in to a jellyfish from his sting and had yet to cross the path of one of the jelly stingy things again. Yet now he sat on the beach and watched the waves crash and carry the purple dreaded things ashore. Part of him wanted to prod one with his paw but most of him told him that was a very bad idea.
Instead the lion just watched for a little while and waited to see if that weird forgetful lioness would turn up again. He had so many questions about these creatures and she seemed so knowledgeable. He wanted to be sure he wasn't about to turn. But it would seem a quest for another day. Goofy got up, stretched, and started to stroll along side the waves and sea foam. He was very careful to avoid the stinging jelly bloobs and any seaweed that had washed up. That was until he saw something.. shiny? He'd never seen anything like it before. Almost see through and yet not completely.
What the lion had discovered was a bottle, but there was no way of Goofy to know this. The lion looked over this way and that before taking the thing in to his maw. He'd examine it closer when he got away from the beach.

 As per her usual routine, before the sun arose above the waters to greet the world Rani'Kob pulled herself out of her cave and began her morning run out to her secondary work-out space until she felt comfortable enough to her primary location in the rogue lands. The spot also happened to be where she kept her most prized trinkets in a small underwater grotto at the base of one of the rocks in the point break.
After her work out she dove into the ocean to check on her goodies. By the gods, something was missing! It was one of her newest additions, a glass sculpture she had found with a shiny decoration on the top. The way it glistened in the sun was unique and it stole her heart, now without it she felt a combination of anger and fear; did someone steal from her? Well that's mighty unfair!
An orange tuff of hair appeared first on the surface of the water, followed by emerald eyes which scanned the beach front for suspects. When she saw the outlines of a lion she froze, trying to tell who it was. Ah! It was the lion Mako had introduced her to. Perhaps he had seen who stole her delicate trinket, something told her he wasn't quite cut-out for such a devious opporation. Rani swam to the beach and shook herself as dry as she could get, no one wanted to smell wet lion!
"Hey there, trouble. You remember me?" She jokingly asked with a coy smile from behind the lion.

The stench of wet fur greeted Goofy's nostrils first followed by a voice second. He turned around in such a fast hurry that in the process the bottle fell from his maw and shattered on the beach. At once the lion jumped back from the broken shards of glass.
"Remember you?" He squinted at the lioness and then shook his head, "Sorry no." He'd remember such an orange lioness he was sure of it. "I was actually hoping to run into a lioness but I'm afraid its not you," The words came out wrong. Goofy quickly realized and looked troubled, "NONONONO! I didn't mean it like that! I mean I was .. Uh. There was a lioness who had information that I needed. I'm happy to run in to you instead though! You seem less the trouble sort? Uh....." He sniffed the air around her, "You smell of pride." The awful awkward stream of things came crashing down. Goofy stared at the shards on the ground and then back to the lioness.
"I found this thing but... Its just been.. Uh... Any ways my names Goofy..?"

So many things happened all at once, Rani was assulted with a few horrible fears came at her at once; this wasn't the lion Mako had introduced her to at all, her precious sculpture broke right infront of her and the lion jumped around as if he could attack her. Fight or flight, Rani leaped back, ready to recieve an attack with a battle cry but after a second she automatically fell directly back into her frail, shy shell. "Oh, I'm so sorry! I.." Even her voice even sounded softer, like she was far away physically with her ears down and her tail wrapped around her like a kitten.
She listened to the lion put his paw in his mouth, it was nice to be on this end of the action, she couldn't help but laugh. Her ears went back to normal and her posture straightened a little as the laugh came to a giggle. "Goofy, I'm Rani'Kob, don't worry, we're even." But then her eyes opened again to actually look at the lion called Goofy when her eyes fell upon the shards of her statue again. Each piece glistened beautifully in the sun, the lion had done her a favor, even if he stole it from her.
"Was this yours?" She asked before she assumed, the colors shining on her black pelt made her look as if she were shiney too.

The female seemed a little twitchy but Goofy was not bothered by this. A lot of the members, specially the older ones, were a bit twitchy. He'd been born when the curse of the land was still very much active but the gift that the curse brought was never very strong with him. He was one of the lucky or unlucky ones he supposed. "Rani'kob? Nice to meet you." He relaxed a bit and took a seat in front of the female. "We're... Even?" That bit the lion wasn't following to well. A bit thick in the head was what some of the lions called him from time to time. It was unkind but very much true. Goofy wasn't always the most attentive and one of the more gullible and trusting lions. From time to time he just didn't get things. "Oh ... Uh, I found it here and I wanted to go see what it was so I took it. It was on the beach so I think it must have washed up here. But now its junk," There was a frown. "What were you doing in the waters?"

If Rani was any other shy lioness, in this situation she would be completely embarrased and would probably just run off. But luckily, in this situation with multiple goofs, the slightly pregnant lioness was an expert, for she had but her paw in her mouth many times before. Before she could explain, he continued and decided to let it wash away with the tide with just a smile. The silly bottle must have just washed ashore, the ocean seemed to have it's way about these things. Unfortunately, she didn't know the lion well enough to expose her treasure spot to him, "Swimming." She mewed softly.
"Junk?" Her emerald eyes lit up, her smile remaining as a result of his frown accompained by a soft giggle, "Look at how it glistens with the sunlight, and even more if you tilt your head. I work with one of the crafters, Mako'Croft, he would love this." Effortlessly, Rani spun the scarf off of her heard and swept the shards of glass into it. Her reservations about politeness and procedure were ignored, the shiney had intoxicated her. She was brought back down to earth as the glass cut her paw.

Guifi took a closer look at the shards. Sunlight danced off of them as if they were gems of some kind. He could see what the lioness liked about them now at the very least. That was until a nice big ouch was heard. "Sharp?" It came out more of a question then a concern. Still, Guifi was quite concerned with the females paw. "Can I see?" He looked at her paw from a far. The lion all the time sported a frown.

The other male's frown bothered her to her core, she must have done something wrong. Rani showed the other male, not taking it too close then put pressure on it with her tail now wrapped around her. It took a lot of courage to keep a smile on her face as she cleared her throat.
"I'm so sorry, have I done something to offend you, sir?" She felt as she did once as a cub speaking to her now deceased muse. Apologizing for misplacing her manors during play. It would be such a shame to close a door on such a handsome male before any possibilities could be explored. Exploring was one of the things that got her into these situations, however.

"W-w-what?" He blinked at her quite surprise she'd think that she offended him some how. There was a quick shake of the head to indicate that no, very much no, she had not offended him in the least. Guifi was unsure how she'd come to that conclusion. He'd not noticed yet that he was frowning. "N-no! I mean. Your paw. Are you alright?" He nuzzled her shoulder, "Could I see please? You seemed like you hurt your self," The frown was still very much there. Guifi still had no idea his facial expression might have been giving the wrong signals.

The blood was flowing from her paw quite well, and the pressue seemed to shoot a sharper pain as the glass splinter dug a little deeper. Perhaps her Gypsy Name should have been Spazz, she gave herself a mental face-paw. The nuzzle loosened her up immensely as if shaking her back out of her relapse.
"Sorry, mixed signals seems to be my speciality these days.." With a giggle she shook it off and offered her paw up for inspection with a little cringe. "Thank you.. Is it okay?" Her eyes danced up and down his frame as she waited anxiously for a reply.

There was blood. Not a huge amount but enough to make the male frown a little deeper. He looked from her paw back to her face and shook his head with out meaning too. "I mean.. Uh. It should be fine but you should probably stick your paw in the ocean for a little while." He remembered hearing some where that salt helped heal the wounds. Even if it stung really harshly when you were sticking a wound in the water. Some how, it was supposed to be good for you. The lion was still trying to figure this part out. "It might sting a .. little," He gave her a small smile, "Im sure you can handle that thought. Right?"

The question from the male reasserted the answer in her own mind and a new breath of confidence blew into her, "Of course I can, I was born to handle pain." She returned the smile, hoping he would catch her joke and carefully slid her paw into the crashing waves. It was nice having attention of another lion, especially a male, even if it would be a one time exchange.
After a moment normalized the pain level and spoke again, "Thank you so much, Guifi, for your help. I can be a ditz sometimes. But I promise, I normally have a fine grip on trinkets and life." The lioness tried to play it off coyly, she trained everyday to be at the top of her game, this was simply embarrassing.
