User Image Boris leaned forward his butt in the air wiggling in anticipation. He was just about to lunge foward and pounce the evil ball of string that had been tormenting him all afternoon. Well not all afternoon, after all a good portion had been tormenting Gil. The poor modifox was absolutely terrified of cats and it just called to Boris's sadistic side. After all Emaline had said he should take better care of himself because she would be sad. of course she apparently didnt like him tormenting Gil either, so it was back to the evil ball of yarn.

Speaking of which Emaline had come back, not that Boris had doubted her at all. It was just everyone else left so......Boris shook his head, he wasnt supposed to think of that, he was supposed to.... grr damn yarn ball. Why wouldnt it just stay still. He pounced his paws resting on the ball just briefly before he tripped on his scarf and the ball went rolling. 'ugh its evil knows no bounds.' Boris thought to himself.

User Image Emaline watched Boris attack the yarn ball and blinked in confused amusement. Confused because she had no idea how he had gotten a ball of yarn. Amused because he was covered in strands of yarn, bits of it tangled in his tail and his scarf. With him all tangled up, it came as no surprise when he tripped and sent the ball flying twards Emaline.

And that's when her own cat-like instincts came to the fore. Emaline batted the ball with one paw and then with the other before slamming her paw at it in a scooping motion and sending it sailing back at Boris. She wasn't going to be left out, though and chased after it. Just as she got back to the catty male fox, she dropped to her belly, reached out a paw and batted Boris playfully on the nose.

"Where did you get the yarn?" She asked, laughing at all the string draping over Boris' body.

He let out a strangled growl as he struggled. How dare it entangle him in its sneaky clutches? Eventually he managed to free himself long enough to get back to his feet. He quickly found the ball again and watched as the ball went rolling off; he briefly noticed that it landed next to very familiar feet before looking up and seeing Emaline. Ah look Emaline had come to visit. His tail curled and moved in happiness.

Then the evil overloard formally known as the ball of yarn had the audacity to steal Emaline’s attention from him. Oh it was going dow- suddenly his nose was being bopped. He moved backwards with a surprised look on his face. Reflexs kicked in and he batted Emaline right back. “Where did I get it?” Boris repeated. “Well I was out bothering Gil again and on the way back I noticed there was this basket full of them near his den. He’s not going to miss one or two right, although come to think of it I wonder why he had so many, and where did he get them?” Boris pondered.

Emaline frowned up at Boris and scolded him gently. "You aren't supposed to be freaking Gil out, Boris, you know he's afraid of cats. And you know we look enough like cats to freak him out." She shook her head and couldn't help a smile. Boris could be a pain in the tail when he wanted to.

Emaline rolled on her back, reaching her paws up towards Boris' face. "As punishment, I steal your scarf!" She said with a laugh, using one paw to swipe the fuzzy thing from him. Rolling to her feet, she skittered off, hopping over yarn threads. She stopped at the edge of the clearing around their den and curled her tail into a question mark, the scarf dangling from her muzzle and amusement flashing in her eyes.

Boris smiled innocently when she mentioned the no tormenting Gil. It wasn’t his fault. Gil just made such funny faces that Boris couldn’t help but want to torment him more. He normally got his sadistic tendencies out by playing with the twins or feuding with Blood. Since he had gotten lost from them his evil side had no outlet other than teasing Gil.

“Ack no, wait…Hey” Boris protested trying to go after his beloved fluffy thing. Unfortunately the yarn was still entrapping him and he fell wrapped up in the stuff again. Ugh its evil had just grown. He hated yarn why had he picked it up. He knew about its evil powers. He looked up at Emaline with pitiful looking eyes. However already he was plotting against Gil again, it was all the Raven’s fault.

Emaline giggled, making her way back to Boris. "Silly, kitty." she teased, dropping the scarf next to him. "Hold still, Boris." She said, tugging the yarn with her teeth. She tried to get him untangled and only succeeded in covering herself in yarn as well. Blowing the string out of her face, she looked at herself and Boris and burst out giggling again.

"This is hopeless." She said, twitching her tail and unwinding a strand that had wrapped around the tip. "Boris, I think we may need some help with this...." She said, pawing a strand off of Boris's ear. Suddenly hit with a bit of a romantic streak, they were both tangled in yarn, which was kinda cute to Emaline, the cat-fox licked Boris on the cheek, smiling up at him.

Boris smiled and waited patiently or tried to as she worked to free him. However yarn apparently made him extremely wiggly and Boris was never really one for staying too still unless it was really hot or wet. However with the tugging from Emaline and the wiggling from Boris all that really happened was they got more entangled than before. He looked up at the sky and let out a quite amused laugh.

“Yes we are in a bit of a pickle” Boris agreed. The only problem is that their only neighbor this far out was Merry, who was off in a vacation or something silly like that and Gil. Ugh Gil would never help them as they where cats. Suddenly his face was bright red as Emaline licked his cheek. He gave a loving expression before noticing a rather familiar yet scared golden gaze that so didnt belong to Emaline. “YAY Gil came to our rescue Emaline." he stated and then turned towards the raven haired male, and with the prospect of getting rescued he turned to face Emaline and licked her nose.

Ugh this was the last time he was ever going to go on a stroll Gil decided as he looked down to see what had to be one of his walking nightmares. Sure as a kit he had been absolutely traumatized by Oz into being scared stiff when it came to cats, so what did he have to run into but Boris of all things, Plus his mate, or whatever Emaline was seemed to be here too. On second thought why where they all tied up? It didnt look as if they would be able to free themselves at all. should he help "What in the world happened here?" that was a good place to start. he took a deep breath, he could do this.

Emaline followed Boris' gaze and caught sight of Gil. Help at last! The cat-fox tucked her ears back and hid her tail on the other side of her body from Gil to make her look less like a cat. "Hello, Gil! Do you think you can help us out? We got a little caught up in this yarn." She said, sending Gil a sheepish smile.

Emaline nudged Boris, trying to non-verbally make him hide his cat features and tell him to behave, all in one motion. Gil was the only one who could get them out at the moment since he was outside the giant yarn tangle they had gotten themselves into.

Boris let out a look like he wanted to torment Gil some more but none the less slid his tail around his pants so it looked like a fuzzy belt, or at least that’s what he hoped Gil would take it as. He did want to get out of this infernal evil yarn, even if it was so fun and addicting and… “Yes please help us.” He pleaded looking up at the still visibly shaking man. He looked over at Emaline for approval.

Gil looked at the two and noticed they where trying to look less cat like. With a groan he slipped off his gloves and reached forward to begin taking the first yarn strand out. Seriously though how in the world did they manage to get them selves in this mess. “Alright I’ll help but only this once okay” he managed to get out.

Emaline caught Boris' look and gave him an encouraging smile in return. She was glad he was at least trying to curb his propensity for teasing, even though she could see that he wanted to do his usual routine with poor Gil. Turning to the other fox, she smiled at him too, this time in gratitude. "Thank you, Gil, it's a real favor." she said, wanting to curl her tail happily. She refrained only because she didn't want to get even more tangled.

Personally besides the fact that Gil was just so easy to tease and Boris had no one else to go create mischief with, he often dropped by to Torment gil because the poor fox had no one else. He had gotten lost from his precious person. Boris knew what it felt like, since he had been separated from Emaline for a few months. It was absolute Hell so he wanted to be Gil’s friend.

Gil finally pulled away the last strand that freed the two cat Modifoxes. He shakily turned his head to the side as not to go all pale and frozen again. “Well that should do it, hopefully you don’t get your selves all taggled up aga-gah” Gil stated before he was interrupted by Boris pouncing him.

Emaline closed her eyes and shook her head in dismay. Boris was sweet, and his heart was in the right place, but true to cat tendencies, Boris wanted to be friends with the one fox that wanted nothing to do with him. Also, Emaline had a sneaking suspicion that Boris thought Gil would get over his fear if Boris kept hanging around him. "Boris...we talked about this." Emaline said, amused in spite of herself.

"Sorry about that Gil, Boris is still Boris." Emaline said, snagging the back of the Cheshire fox's shirt and tugging. "And, mate, not everyone likes being pounced."

Boris looked up from where he had pounced Gil and stared at his mate tilting his head to the side. “well he hasn’t quite yet frozen up and its not really tormenting right. What? Foxes don’t like to be pounced… but that’s how I show affection and/or gratitude. Do you not like getting pounced Gil?” Boris stated moving his head down to stare at the other clothed fox.

“Pouncing isn’t so bad when its not completely out of the blue” Gil stated refusing to look at the two, although it was really hard when Boris stuck his head practically near gil’s. “ah its okay… I think.” Even if it wasn’t… not really. Well at least Emaline was nice for a cat girl fox.

"Some foxes don't like to be pounced. You may do it to show affection, but you also do it to kill your food. As well meaning as you may be, it's still an aggressive act." Emaline said, trying to get Boris to understand. Sometimes he could be adorably thick-headed. "So the point is, you should only pounce on foxes who don't mind getting pounced on."

Emaline turned to look at Gil and laughed lightly. "Well, pouncing is supposed to be out of the blue. Otherwise it's simply a hug." She curled her tail and looked at the male fox. "Ah, we really shouldn't keep you Gil. Thank you again for helping us."

Boris just shook his head and decided it wasn’t worth trying to tell Emaline, he knew he just liked pouncing people anyways. He never had a problem making a nuisance of himself either. Actually depending on the right people it was a bit fun. However if Emaline didn’t really like him pouncing others then he would cut down on it while he was in her presence.

“Bye Bye Gil. I’ll come over to play soon” Boris teased and waved watching Gil stop in his retreat and shudder. That boy was just way too fun to pester. He turned around to Emaline and gave an innocent smile. “So now that we’re free from the evil yarn overlord what do you want to do?”
