Lorindar This island, though small, holds two nations. The first is the nation of Lorindar, and the second is FairyTown.
Fairytown is the location of the last surviving Fairy Hill for hundreds of miles. The fae-blooded creatures were given this land as their own kingdom after their loss of the Midsummer’s War. This territory is protected, and no one may enter without direct permission from the Fairy King and Queen (except those of noble blood). Also, any found guilty of crimes against the people fae blood are prohibited from entering this territory as well. It lies to the south of The main lands of Lorindar, and a giant chasm seperates the two nations from each other. A golden bridge connects the two parts of the island, and a 20 tall enchanted hedge maze of thorns guards the Fairy side of the bridge.
The nation of Lorindar covers the rest of the island, with the capitol city of Whiteshore. The capitol city is the main business district of Lorindar, housing several dozen merchants and shops, as well as guilds. The only restrictions to these lands are that any person wishing to enter High Street, which leads to the castle, must submit their identification papers for inspection. High Street leads to Whiteshore Castle, where King and Queen Whiteshore, and Prince Jakob reside (among others). Merchant’s Quarter houses the main businesses of the island, including all of the typical shopping destinations as well as the inns, taverns and guilds. “Blood and Guts Lane,” as the locals refer to it, holds all of the city’s butchers, furriers, stables, and tanners. Garden Street is home to the florists, herbalists, glassmakers and grocers. Alchemists’ Alley is where the potion crafters and magical trinkets would be found. Borden Lane is home to the blacksmiths, taverns and inns.
As the party adventures and learns more information about the countries outside of Lorindar, those countries will be added to this list.
