What's your latest acquisition??
For me. I didn't really have any plans of buying anymore knives but when I saw the Presidio Ultra was available at such a great price I couldn't resist. I've wanted the Presidio for years(ever since I first saw it) but I just couldn't justify spending over $150 on another knife. Luckily the Ultra can be found for nearly half the price. I'm interested to see how the 440C steel holds up. I'd guess they opted to use 440 instead of their usual 154CM to keep the price down but I also suspect they used it because I believe the 440 is a bit "tougher" which is a good choice for a BLACK class knife imo. I can't wait!
Mine is the satin blade version not the black titanium nitride coated version which I think also looks awesome.
The specs are as follows: Blade Length: 2.97" Blade Thickness: 0.115" Blade Material: 440C Stainless Steel Blade Hardness: 58-60HRC Blade Style: Hollow Ground Drop-Point, Ambidextrous Thumb-Studs Weight: 3.10oz. Pocket Clip: Reversible Tip-Up Lock Mechanism: AXIS Lock Overall Length: 7.12" Closed Length: 4.15" Sheath Material: Sold Separately Class: Black
"This Tactical, Lightweight Folder Delivers Strength And Speed In Any Situation.
-Molded Textured Handles -Unparalleled AXIS Function -440C Hollow Ground Blade Steel -Drop Point Blade"

Man this knife is unbelievable. If I'd have bought it years ago it probably would have saved me from buying quite a few other knives. I've been looking for that perfect balance between tactical and EDC, This one might just be it! heart If I got a hold of a mini presidio(original) 154cm blade and replaced the 440c, this really might be the ultimate medium sized manual folding knife. Though the 440C blade is really easy to sharpen to shaving level and the rust resistance is so excellent. So it's sort of a toss up.

Nice Benchmade. I'd give part of a finger for a 42.

Ego Death Nice Benchmade. I'd give part of a finger for a 42. There's a slim chance of you getting what's left of your hands on it. Unless you want to pay in excess of $500 or more. If I were you I'd check out the new Model 62. Exciting stuff. I'm just hoping to get a 62trainer. No live Bali-songs for me. xp

-Molded Textured Handles -Unparalleled AXIS Function -440C Hollow Ground Blade Steel -Drop Point Blade" I bought a knife from hawaii, that was under 6 inches, it was a piece of c**p. I broke 2 days after I got back from hawaii
