A recent comment and and one of my own posts in another Toku guild gave me this idea.
I was wondering does it really matter what type of fan you are? In every show you have certain types; The one where you openly love and are passionate about a series (Think Akiba-Red), the average fan that watches and talks about it, and the fan who tends to "over-think" a series.
Of course there are more types of fans then just that (and feel free to discussion them if you want), but for sake of starting the discussion what are you're views on the different types of fans? What are their "Pro's and Cons, if you will? Does talking about your views change anything at the end of the day? Or is this entire thread pointless? You decide.
Before this causes a s**t storm, if you're going to post a point and or debate with somebody please be respectful. We're all adults here so act like it. I made this debate topic out of curiosity on what people's views were.
Note 'll might edit the OP later, since it isn't really clear. I just wanted to get the general gist of what I was thinking before I got back to work.

Mix of the last 2, I generally don't just watch, but I make a point to try and not get more out of it than is actually presented lest I have a different opinion on what happened than the makers of the show have.
