Neo slumped in the shade of a tree.
"Too hot." He grumped to himself before laying flat on his side.
But, at least he was blessedly alone right now. His chipper, yippy-yappy familiar was off and away doing...whatever it was he was doing when he wasn't annoying the everliving savannas out of the sleek cheetah sprawled in an almost ungainly fashion in the shade.
So, with a sigh, he amended: "But, quiet."
And he was ever-so-thankful for it.

The old gal had wandered away from the grumpy antics of her maroon pelted mate. Undine had great tolerance for Abasi's cantankerous attitude, but it did get suffocating from time to time. She'd forgotten how hot the day could be, outside from their well shaded spot. Well, it wasn't too hard to forget, as even there, the humidity would still remain. But the shade helped lessen the heat bearing load. It didn't help the mature cheetah, that most of her pelt was covered in black. A hue that absorbed heat, quite readily.
