the point in time this takes place, (a parallel, if you follow the full, true manga and anime, there will be inconsistancies.. just a warning) is along the shippuden era. itachi is approx early 20's, as is my character, shiko uchiha.
now a lay down of events leading to this story...
itachi and others (hazel, shiko, sasuke, etc ((OCs of guild RPers)) ) have defeated akatsuki, with one of the worlds main threats gone. the nations seem to be at peace. the threat of war has vanished. mostly
however, in the blistering heat and harsh winds of the outskirts of the sand village, an old, yet never forgotten enemy of the leaf village, claims his residents, hiding amongst the blowing gales of sand. is madara uchiha...
he has, for years, stalked shiko, as well as those around him. almost teasing him, and taunting the remaining uchiha. ..
he had left the world alone wince his last encounter with shiko and itachi. it ended not in his favor.. they thought he was defeated, dead, and gone. but they were wrong. he stayed hidden, solo, perfecting new techniques to obtain his goal...
to be the only remaining soul alive, with the sharingan...

shiko had just woken from a peaceful sleep. he hadnt enjoyed a full nights rest since the passing of his partner, suki. they had fought many battles together, shared many expieriances, but who new her keekei-genki of immortality, had its flaws...
he shook the thoughts from his head and got his gear. he approched the door, preparing to leave, when a knock stopped him in his tracks. he answered the door to see itachi, the culprit of the obnoxious clatter at his door.
"the hokage asked to see us, specifically us" itachi said, in a cold tone
itachi had, now years after the massacre, he has been accepted by the villagers for his aid in the demise of his old partners, the akatsuki.
"did she specify why?" she asked sarcastically.
"no" itachi replied, making an attempt to ignore the sarcasm.
they both made their way to the village, shiko wearing he usual black garb, with his katana handle, and packs of tools along his hips. his hair had grown slightly, he let it fall to each side of his face, in a central part.
itachi was wearing his anbu armor, upon hearing the hokage's summons, he knew he should be prepared.
they arrived at the door to the hokage's office, reminicing old fights through the walk. shiko knocked, and was answered and welcomed by the hokage, tsunadi. she didnt hold back when issuing a new mission to them. in fact, the position she offered them, intrigued them. they accepted her offer without giving it much thought, and were introduced to a mission.
some anbu specialists have detected increased chakra levels in the deserts outside the sand village. your new team. codenamed "akatsuki" will trace the source and label the threat.
shiko knew exactly why their team had been labeled "akatsuki" but he kept silent until they were dismissed.
they exited the building out to the street.
"so... akatsuki?" shiko said, to break the silence
"it would appear so... thought id never associate with that name again..." itachi said, not approving of the title
"i see this as a good thing, that name was associated with power.. all that will change, is that now thatname wont be associated with evil."
"this is true" itachi agreed.
"do you have any robes from those days?" shiko asked itachi
"yes, as a matter of fact, lets head back to my house. ill get us rigged up. then we can head on our way" ...
((a nice opening to a storyy i have wanted to execute ... let the rp commence!!!))

One bright afternoon, angel was walking through the village in search of a decent kunai or katana. She approached a small stand with a red sheet streched over the top. she looked at the katanas, kunai's, etc. everything was so beautiful. she looked for the store owner. " Hello Young lady." whipered a hoarse voice. angel looked up to see a familar face. the store owner was an old man.
" hello sir. i am just looking." Said angel slowly. She looked behind man to find a boy in a simple shirt and pants looking at her shocked. It was zabuza. He picked up a katana and started to take steps toward angel. Angel tried to move her legs. she could'nt. she was paralyzed. zabuza walked behind angel and stroked her hair softly. Angel stopped breathing every now and then. " angel, angel, angel. what a surprise. it was only a matter of time before we met again." He said in a smooth voice as she stared blankly into the hills.
she seized a katana and plunged it into his arm. her legs were striding into the village. she sent herself into crowds. She looked behind her. Zabuza was catching up with her quickly. she kept looking behind her. all of a sudden she crashed into someone. She looked up to see itachi's face. She panted because of her breath. " Help me." She looked over at shiko while she was pleading. " it's zabuza. He's been trying to kill me for a while now. i Need help!" She looked into itachi's eyes wearily.

itachi felt a nudge and looked down. he noticed a familiar face, "angel?" he questioned.
he looked up to see a figure with a dark lust in his eyes, staring at her.
shiko noticed the the gaze in the mans eye. "i dont like this" he muttered to itachi
itachi nodded and quietly said 2 words in zabuza's direction "back... away" his black eyes erupted into twin pools of crimson. as his sharingan activated. he made no movement to initiate a fight, it was purely intimidation.
a small gust of wind kicked up the dirt around shiko. as his chakra made the air waver

angel looked over to zabuza's direction and he growled at itachi. Zabuza was sprinting towards angel and angel was so scared zabuza caught angel's arm and slammed her onto the ground. angel was in black out. she could feel the pain swirling around her head. blood was pouring out from a gash in her forehead.

in the blink of an eye the two uchiha jumped into action. shiko went to aid angel, as itachi locked eyes with zabuza
suddenly zabuzas eyes glazed over.
"tsukoyomi" shiko whispered.
in a matter of seconds, zabuza was unconcious on the ground, itachi didnt even move.
shiko lifted angels head trying to sway her back into reality "are you ok?" he asked,gently shaking her.
he looked up to itachi "do you know her?" he asked.

angel was black out for a few hours. she remember how her mother screamed at her to run from zabuza. how her mother was struck dead by him. the fear remained in her head. how itachi had found her and took her in. she was tired and she wanted to go home. to sleep. to rest. she wanted to be with itachi for a while. she felt safe with him. without him around her, she was shoulder-deep in trouble.
She awoke hours later in a medical ward. she was determined to find itachi and tell him what had happend. She was scared once again but she didnt talk for a while. the only person she talked to was itachi and him only. she looked around for a while and sat on a hospital bed patiently waiting for a visitor.

itachi and shiko had arrived at itachi's house. going through old gear of his they stumbled upon a few of his robes he saved. he tossed one to shiko, who quickly slipped it on over his clothes. the hig collar covering his face from his nose down.
"i like" he said with a smal smile.
"itll fit its purpose" itachi said, showing that he wasnt thrilled about wearing his old colors again.
he put the robe on anyway, and they both nodded to each other as a gesture of readiness.
"lets stop at the hospital before we head out, to check on angel" itachi called to shiko as they left
"i knew you know her" shiko replied with an undertone showing he felt victorious in deducing that little fact.
it was the little things, you know?
they made their way to the hospital, and located her room. they knocked on the door...

Angel jumped at the sound of the knock because everything was so quiet. She just wasnt expecting it. She looked over to itachi and shiko and smiled. " hey sorry bout the chaos earlier" she said.
Feeling horrible. " it's all my fault.." she got out of bed slipped on her boots and was walking toward the door just as fell to the ground because she had a stomach wound. she was stabbed with a katana. She felt stupid now. stuggling to get up, angel took tiny steps trying to get out of the hospital. either she was going to go back to itachi's house for awhile. ( for the moment that was her home) or she was going to ask to go with itachi.

Hazel grinned as she darted out of the tree. landing in the center of the training ground's where Tai stood. There hands meeting as she went to strike.
This had been a nice routine for them now. Sparring at least once a month. and sometimes even more then that.
With quick movements she darted around Tai sweeping his legs out from under him. giving an innocent grin as she quickly backed of.
"I win again" she said sticking her tong out and giggling. Tai smiling at her and shaking his head.
"I have to admit. You're just no match for me now~" He said stretching his arms out and turning around. "well I have to go. I'm suppose to be leaving for a mission today can't be to worn out" he said walking off with a grin. Hazel crossing her arms and starting to walk away. some what in thought.
'wonder what the other's are doing' she sang in her head beginning to walk down the street.

'Up, down. 198. Up, down. 199. Up, down. 200!' Scar thought to himself as he did his usual 'Wakeup workout', which was usually something as simple as a few pushups. Today, he had decided to do 200, which wasn't that hard, but not exactly easy, either. Wiping a small amount of sweat from his forehead, Scar rolled towards his dresser while he was still on the floor before jumping up and grabbing a plain white T-shirt from the top of it. Slipping himself into it, he grabbed his hooded shirt from a hangar on his door before bounding out and jumping down the stairs to see his parents.
"Morning, Mom!" He yelled as he hugged his mom and received one back from her, before sitting down at the table and gulping down his orange juice. "Where's dad?" "He's asleep. He had to work late last night, so he got home this morning." Scar nodded. He didn't like his father working late. He preferred it when he could see both of his parents whenever he could. He shrugged at the nothing that was at his shoulders as if he could shrug off how he secretly felt before getting up and pushing his chair in so he didn't get a 'Raised in a barn' rant from his mother. Giving his mom a quick hug and a goodbye, Scar walked outside and towards town to see if there were anything going on. He didn't really have any friends, but Scar always did enjoy the zoo.

Hazel smiled innocently as she walked noticing a boy turn on the street walking along side her. she thought for a moment deciding to be friendly. she was normal nice to everyone. unless they made unkind remarks or just flat out annoyed her.
"Hello~" She sang looking over to Scar and giving a friendly smile. She was some what in thought. thinking about what she could do. wondering if the hospital might need some help at all.

( i'll be role playing sasuke and angel since sasuke is not online. when he gets online he can then take over biggrin )
Angel limped out of the hospital. away from shiko. away from itachi. back to the town where the road she'd take led to itachi's house out in the woods. Every stared at angel like she was crazy but she didn't care. she could feel someone touching her shoulder. It was sasuke. " You really shouldn't be out in that condition." sasuke said in a smooth but cold tone. Angel kept walking. Sasuke pulled her arm back to talk to her a little more. " Where are you going?" He said curiousley. " It's none of your buisness leave me alone." angel said fianally so he'd leave her alone. " I could carry you. Angel, you know you don't want to walk." he said as he looked her in the eyes. angel went wide eyed. This was the most she's even seen him talk for a long time. Must've had a good day?
After a while of talking and walking with sasuke, she let him carry her. Her stomach hurt and her legs hurt from running away from zabuza. They talked as they were on they're way to itachi's house. " You know, you should go with itachi on his mission. if he'd let you." he said annoyingly. " Sasuke you know what?" Angel asked sweetly. " Yes?" he replied quickly. " Shut up. you're making my head hurt." She said as she pointed to her head and laughed.
After that they stayed silent for a while. Angel fell asleep after 2 hours of being carried. When they got to itachi's house, sasuke kicked open the door, layed angel on some cushions and went into another room. He was thinking about why would zabuza kill angel's mother, then go after angel? didn't matter. A few hours later, angel moved. This time she dreamt that zabuza was so close to killing her but forced her to watch itachi and himself fight.
" im going back to the village." Angel said silently. Sasuke just looked up from his off- stare and gave her the call-if-you-need-me-and-ill-be-there look. Angel just gave a small nod and looked at where her wound was. It was gone. Before she left, she gathered up enough chakra just in case some one tried to kill her for zabuza.
when she was walking toward the direction of the village, she had seen a boy. about 6'1, Brown hair, and his eyes.. they were a mystery. she couldn't see them under his brown hood. he was very muscular though. not very limp. she thought she knew he was. Scar. she could read minds and he was thinking of something to say to her. " Hello I'm angel uchiha. you're scar right?" She said brightly with a smile on her face. he kept walking. she ran a few yards ahead waiting for him to reply she knew he would. she noticed a girl too. she was hazel. " Hello." she said to hazel very kindly yet very fondly. hazel knew angel ever since itachi took angel in when angel was 6. but this was one of the very few times she has ever actually spoke to hazel. " i'm angel. you're hazel. itachi told me. Sasuke appeared out of nowhere walking with angel. " hey hazel." He said out of pure boredom.
They walked for hours and fianally got to the town were there was a HUGE riot. Angel could see zabuza through the crowd........

shiko and itachi both watched angel stumble out of the room, and out of the hospital. shiko attempted to follow but itachi stopped him with a light tap on the shoulder.
"no, she will be fine. we need to continue our mission" he said, closing his eyes briefly
"your right" shiko sighed,
both of them wearing the recognizable robes, they walked through the village streets, being eyed by the towns people. some shutting doors, others running. they ignored it. their opinions would change. and they knew it
they were making their way to the village gates when they bumped into a few familiar faces, sasuke, hazel, angel... and some new kid...

Hazel blinked as she looked to Angel and Sasuke. "Oh Hey~" she said happily looking to Sasuke. "you seem like you're in a nice mood" she said to sasuke teasingly. Her eyes scanning the crowd as she noticed Itachi and Shiko. Noticing the outfits they had on.
"It's been a while sense i have seen you wearing that Onii-sama... Are you going on a mission or something?" She asked looking to Shiko now. and crossing her arm's.
