He isn't exactly the friendliest of people unless he has to be to get what he wants. Tatsuya is clever, snarky, and, for the most part, a jerk. He's persuasive and good at getting what he wants.
Bio:
Tatsuya was born into your average bender hating family in the slums of the Republic City. How sweet, right? "There can be no prosperity as long as there are benders." His father would preach to him when he was of age. His mother seemed far more relaxed about the topic. She would say that his father just had a long day of work and that he really didn't mean it. This would lead to her getting a severe beating had he heard her say such things, and if Tatsuya tried to stop the brutality towards his mother, he would receive the same treatment ten fold. Or sometimes he would be forced to watching, his father ranting about how the benders made his mother ignorant. Charming life, really.
His parents are long gone now; his mother died and his father was put in jail for domestic violence at last. Not that he's complaining. Ever since he went into the Equalist party, his life steadily improved. He moved from the slums to the upper class, acting as almost an agent in bending communities. He is, to be precise, quite content with the work he does.
Other:
Tatsuya is a master at chi blocking, like most of the elite Equalists are.
