Tyalessa Amberfield (xXxBowdowntochocolatexXx ) vs Sienna Ivystone (StarrySeas)
Here's how it'll go down. This will be a single one vs one pokemon battle.
FIRST POSTS (for both of you): An introduction post of you walking into the stadium, DO NOT LET OUT YOUR POKEMON YET, and rolling a 100-sided dice.
SECOND POSTS: The person who rolled the highest last time now sends out their pokemon (DO NOT ATTACK) and preferably posts the pokemon's cert/stats
The other person now sends out their pokemon (DO NOT ATTACK)
THIRD POSTS: The person who sent out their pokemon first can now attack
Then the battle proceeds as normal.

THE FIELD OF CHOICE IS....
Plain Stage: If no random battlefield is chosen/randomized, the arena will merely stay as a simple concrete arena that looks like this. Raised platforms allow trainers to observe and give orders without as much personal risk to themselves.

Tyalessa walked on to the stage, she had used similar stages before in battle and wasnt too nervous. She had a great ability of relaxing if she knew the area was familiar, not matter what situation she was in. Essa walked onto the platform thinking of what opponent she had.

Wooo! This should be an interesting event, Sienna thought as she stepped into the stadium. "Helloooooooo!" She called, stepping into her trainer's box. "My name is Sienna and I'll be your opponent for today!" The bird-keeper waved. She still had no idea which of her pokemon she'd be using yet though...

Essa stood staring for a moment, she couldnt help but get this nagging feeling shes met her opponent before, but the only battles shes been in were a wild eevee and.... "Wait a minute, your the bird keeper i battled with Mist! twice!!"What a coincidence all the gym applications their must have been, to be paired up with someone she had actually fought. So she was facing off with birds, well her new magikarp was out of the question then, if she called out psyduck that would be a major problem with Odin who didnt have any supereffective attacks against birds "so that means, i choose you, Mist!" edit: 900HP

"Oh the pidgeot again!" Knowing that the bird had some moves that are super effective against Mist, she needed to lower those attacks.

"Cancel it out with Work-up!" Sienna commanded.
Frey ruffled his feathers and stamped his talons, a rather silly display, but his attack rose back to normal nevertheless.

"Okay then, different tactic Mist, Use Charge Beam to increase your attack"
Mist started showing little electrical charges around her, but they quickly left showing that her attack had rose.

Frey did the little dance a second time, raising his attack above normal.

Essa suddenly got a sweet idea

Frey rolled his eyes. When was she going to have him attack? He ruffled his feathers as his body shined silver, raising his defense in annoyance.

Frey shot into the air above the plain field as soon as he saw the sparks.
"Use Faint Attack!" It wasn't a nice move; it couldn't miss, Frey's attack was boosted, and they had the type advantage with it.
Sienna wasn't playing nice today.
