She is swell, though I don't really support the idea of celebrating things with alcohol. Such things are excessive.

After all, music is a wonderful diversion, but you don't really gain anything besides pleasure by partaking in it. Alcohol is much the same, except it's consumption, in and of it's self, does not give pleasure, though it does enhance the pleasure of other activities.

Alcohol, in my long experience with it, does not really improve the pleasure in other activities. It just makes mediocre experiences more fun, which frankly, seems less than optimal to me; I'd rather have legitimate fun than need be sliding towards drunk to appreciate blandness. If I drink, it's because I've found a good tasting beverage. No desire in getting drunk (ever again).

I hit that little golden zone between buzzed and drunk and stop there most of the time. Enough that I can enjoy myself more, but not enough to make me feel like s**t in the morning.

I don't drink liquor anymore. Not after an incident involving a whole fifth of rum over the course of an hour or two.

I've been there...cept with vodka...and it was over the course of like...1 min...but I got $50 out of it!...I don't remember the rest of the night and I almost died, but hey, $50 is $50! I prefer liquor, I don't mind beer but it's just kinda...boring....wine is better, I actually enjoy wine.

Discover good wines. If I ever come into a stupid amount of money, I'd like to start a vineyard and winery business.
