Now that season 2 of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is over, I think it's time we do something special to celebrate/mourn the fact we have to wait months for new MLP episodes....A CONTEST!!!
That's right! The first CMC guild banner contest! First I suppose you might wish to know how this works: Well, all you have to do is create an original piece of art work that is MLP related and post it right here in this thread! Then I (or we, if I can get the rest of the crew in on this) will judge which submission is the best. The winner will not only get their artwork posted on the guild page as our official banner, but will also receive 500,000 gold!
You heard me right, 500,000 gold! Now then, let's get down to the rules shall we?
1) There are an unlimited number of submissions per person
2) Any and all submissions must be mostly original material, I don't mind if you borrow screen shots from the series, but you must do something to make it your own, and make it original. Borrowing too heavily from Hasbro, Hub, or other person's work will either result in disqualification.
3) Submissions may or may not be animated
4) All submissions must be PG-13 in nature or less. Any submissions deemed inappropriate will be removed.
5) The crew and myself reserve the right to remove any submission for any reason.
6) Any complaints or suggestions may be sent to me (TANRailgun) via PM.
7) The contest ends one week from the day of this post (April 22nd, 2012, so it ends on April 29th, 2012)
8 ) All rules are subject to change.
Ok, now that we have that out of the way, let's discuss prizes shall we?
1st prize: 500,000g and the picture shall be featured on the guild's main page!
2nd prize: 100,000g
3rd prize: 50,000g
This is a great opportunity for us to come together as a guild and celebrate the end to another great season of MLP, so get creative people! We need your art!!

May I suggest using
Easy GIF Animator, it's a wonderful program, that makes making your own animated gifs crazy easy! you can even download and edit animated gifs yourself! It's not free, but it does have a free trial period (don't worry, it won't charge you anything unless you actually choose to buy the program after the trial period).
