What form of currency exists? There is actually a blurb all about money in the "CULTURE" thread in World Information!

Ugh, I'm just replying, it's easier. XD
We're just calling them 'gold coins', or gold by weight. Coins can be cut in half, as well, if something's worth less than a full gold piece.

Would it be possible for a character to have had an artisan's job when younger, and have transferred to a hunter sometime in their recent past, or are jobs more designated from youth upward?? ... I have a character in mind, I'm just not sure whether I want to make him an artisan, or a hunter. As an artisan, he'd secretly be fascinated by and wish to join the hunters, but as a hunter I'd still want him to have some artisan background. ... I just want to know if that's at all possible or should I rethink this ^^;
And if I'm in the wrong thread, I'm sorry ;A; I wasn't sure if this would be considered more a general question, or a setting/world related question ... probably the latter otl
