Lakonale sat down next to the rest of her siblings. It was nearly morning. The horizon was starting to lighten. This was one of the things she loved about being a night cat. The rest of her family was still fast asleep. They most likely wouldn't awaken til the sun was blazing in their eyes. She looked to them and smiled. She loved them very much. It was too bad they couldn't share sunrises with her. Then again, she missed a lot of sunsets.

Restlessness made her get up and start walking toward the rising sun. She hummed to herself, zigzagging this way and that. Hopefully there would be someone to share this sunrise with.

User ImageRohodamu had no Idea why she was up so early there seemed to be something that was calling her to go out the sunrises were always so beautiful to watch she had seen quite a few in her time. The Red lioness walked from where she was sleeping finding a nice spot to sit and watch the sunrise seemed like the prefect thing to do. wanderign for a bit she search for that spot. It had to be perfect nothing less would do for her after all she wanted this sunrise to look as beautiful as possible.

Finding her spot at last the Lioness sat down letting her eye's meet the horizon. There was nothing left to do now other than keep her eye's on the horizon and stay alert for anything that might try to harm her. She didn't think there would be anything that could attack her this early other than some thing's that she would have no problem with taking out on her own. Not that she wouldn't mind some kinder company if any happened to find her, It would actually be quite nice.

Lakonale kept on humming, her little paws moving in awkward patterns as she tried to dance to her own little tune. Her face was one of complete contentment. She stopped for awhile to rest. This close to daybreak was about the time that she slowed down after a whole night of playing by herself. She stared up at the beautiful colors that filled the sky. It was beautiful.

She looked back around her surroundings to make sure she remembered which way to get back to her family. That was when she noticed a color that didn't fit in with the landscape. Excited, she jumped up and bounded straight for the big red thing. As she neared, she realized it was another animal, one she had never seen before. "Hi!" She called out, not knowing if the creature was safe to talk to or not. "Are you watching the sunrise too?" Lakonale smiled at the bigger female.

Rohodamu saw the young Leopard cub before it managed to reach her. She was running towards her causing Rohodamu to let out a slight chuckle as she saw the cub racing towards her. She was a bit surprised to see the cub running to her with no sign of another adult anywhere even close to her. Had this cub wandered off? Or perhaps the cub was looking for something? Perhaps the cub's parent's were close by and she just wasn't able to see them? that was always possible.

She smiled slightly at the cub's question so that was what she was doing out here on her own. "Hello to you as well. Yes I am watching the sunrise would you like to join me?" there were danger's out here for any one, especially cubs and having a soft stop for cub's she would watch her if she stayed until the sunrise was over then get her back to her family. "Did none of your family want to watch the sunrise with you? Or did you perhaps sneak of without them knowing?" Her family had to be worried over her.

Lakonale smiled up at the lioness when she realized that it was a friendly one. She was so lucky to meet nice creatures on her little adventures. Her head bobbed up and down in answer. "Yep! I like sunrises." She tucked herself against the side of the red lioness for comfort with her tail curled around one leg. It was nice to finally have company. The night had been terribly lonely for her.

Lakonale looked up with big eyes. "They are sleeping. I'm the only one up at this time." She was sure her mommy wouldn't be completely happy to hear about all the things she did. There was no helping it. She simply was a night cub. The day was not for her. "I'll return home after this, promise." Her family would still be sleeping, maybe some would just be waking up when she returned.

Rohodamu smiled at the young leopard that had curled herself into her sid. "Well your in for a treat, the way the clouds look here promises to be quite a beautiful sunrise." So the young cub would be going home after this? Then that was fine, she obviously knew where her family was so there would be no worrying about that. It eased her worries some that the cub would be able to find it's way around and back to her family.

She smiled over at the cub. "That good at least. I would hate for you to get into trouble out here on your own." There were so many thing's out here that could harm her. But enough of the worrying talk, the sun was starting to rise. Golds' pinks and purple started to trail their ways across the sky dyeing the clouds all different shades and such as they touched them. It was simply beautiful, a sunrise to be remembered for certain.

Lakonale stared up at the sky as the lioness was talking about how it would be beautiful. It would be. She would never forget this sunrise. With her head tilted against the red lioness, she said softly, "I like you. My name is Lakonale. What's yours?" The early morning air was cool upon her fur compared to the warmth she was cuddled against. One day, she would wake up her mommy to share a sunrise with.

This lioness was very caring. She could tell. Otherwise she wouldn't worry about her safety. Her eyes lighted up with joy as soft colors stretched across the sky. It was so very beautiful. She gave a sigh of contentment. She couldn't remember the last time that she felt so relaxed.
