Hey everyone,
Once again I thought I'd take the honor of creating our weekly TMNT cartoon discussion!
Now, here's the problem: I set my VHS to tape this episode, but it ran out of tape before the end! I got to see up to the part where the Ultimate Ninja and Draco are introduced, but nothing more. So please fill me in!!
I was happy to see another classic comic re-make come to life in vivid animation. (I believe it was based on #8 from Vol. 1, correct me if I'm wrong). They captured Renet's personality very well; the care-free, fun-seeking, comical character we all know. It was also nice to see the feared Savanti Romero who wanted nothing more than the scepter of time. I liked the way they showed an aardvark at the beginning of the episode, resembling the classic character "Cerebus." Overall, from what I saw, it was pretty cool!
Now, fill me in on how it ended! xd

that main demon dude and the area he was banished to looked great!
anyway, here's what you missed:
ok...some of this is fuzzy as to who has the septer and how the got it, but...
drago stole septer (SP?) and made the turtle's weapons disintegrate. they also got trapped in a bunch of roots i think. the girl's boss appeared and used the septer to banish the demon dude to the dinosaur era. drago got ahold of the septor and got warped somewhere. it wasn't said where. the girl asked about drago still having the septor and the guy said it does weird things. he didn't seem to be worried about it.
then (without having the septor) he warped the turtles back to their time. it wasn't shown how he did it.
sorry...it's all really fuzzy...but that's mostly what happened

Don't you mean "a**-car," S? wink CrazyRob well draco and the ultimate ninja were bonded together. so the entire entity was banished together. they never split up or anything. I see... that sounds about right. In anycase, I'm sure we'll be seeing them again in the distant future... Thanks!

Sure this was a great twist on a story many of us are familiar with (see the comic Dburger mentioned for the original wink ), and yes it was wierd to have Draco and the Ultimate Ninja show up as some melded double-headed demon freak . . but I think that they revamped the way the Turtles react to Renet's personality. Well . . and then Renet actually didn't seem quite as annoying on screen as she does in print, really, now that I think about it . . sweatdrop
Of course . . that's gotta be 'cause this is a kid's cartoon and the original comic is slated as a 'teenager and up' thing . . but I still missed it.
Favorite moment not captured in the cartoon: the boys and Renet are talking to Cerberus in a resteraunt/ bar and Renet is being her usual valley-girl self. During this scene Raph is heard mumbling "For G--'s sake, Renet, would you just get drunk and pass out!" xd Pardon me if that's more paraphrasing than the actual wordage . . I had to get volume 1 from the library (this is about 4 years ago, now . . sweatdrop ) in order to just see it . . and they don't have it anymore stressed so's I'm going purely on memory here. Please, however, feel more than free to correct my 'quote' and let me know the actual wording if you have it/ know it. 3nodding
