Appearance: At 5'4, Kasai is an athletic girl. Built light and agile, dancing and fire-bending both come natural to her. Long, black locks sway with her movements, and glossy green eyes pierce the souls of her onlookers. (Picture to come later...? I hope?)

Personality: Quick-witted, sarcastic, and vocal, Kas speaks her mind in the most animated way possible. She also has a low tolerance for being ignored; it can often instantaneously ignite her temper. However, if she suddenly becomes the subject of a conversation, she quickly retracts, and instantly rejects any queries about herself.
Job?: part-time professional dancer, full-time shop-keeping assistant

Lives: In her grandfather's house.
Bio:
From a young age, Kas grew to curse her life. Born to a fire-bender and his non-bending lover, the girl came into a broken home from the start. Shortly after her bith, Kas's father left her and her mother. From that day onward, the woman cursed benders and their kind, crushed and broken by loneliness. Much to her disdain, as Kas grew, she quickly showed signs of fire-bending. At first, it was just sparks, but by age 5, Kas was capable of small bursts of flame. At first, the young firebender attempted to impress her mother with her abilities, but the displays simply made her mother cry. Being so young, Kas just didn't understand. All she wanted was, "to make mommy proud!"
Instead, Kas's mother grew to hate her and her bending, calling her a "Flame-tongued Horror" and other such atrocities. This went on until Kas was 7, steadily growing worse until then. Finally, Kas's mother had had it, and took her to see her grandfather for a regular visit- except she never came back. Kas would look out the window every day, hoping to see her mother- but just saw the crowds of people walking through the streets.
As Kas grew, so did the hole in her heart. In attempts to mend the void, her grandfather enrolled her in a school of dance. There, Kas performed exceptionally, and even made a few friends. It was unfortunately during this time, however, that her ability to firebend surged. Caught int he passion of dancing, Kas would unwittingly release flames in her excitement. Unable to also afford a bending mentor, she decided it was too dangerous for her to continue dance lessons, and withdrew.
At the age of 16, she returned to dance only after learning control of her bending abilities through various... trial and error exercises that built up a slight notoriety and a small sum of damages. However, the praises she received with her dance (now enhanced by her firebending skills) made such things distant memories in the minds of her fans. Unfortunately, that fan-base is pretty small at the moment, and she still owes damages. For now, she has taken up professional dance jobs whenever she can, as well as a full-time shop-keeping assistant at a local antique shop.

 Name: Fang Zhang Age: 20 Gender: Male Bends: Fire Personality: Fang is seemingly calm and relaxed, but can easily lose his temper. He is stubborn and rarely budges on his decisions. He can be sarcastic, and will voice his opinion. To those he likes, he is protective and friendly. Fang has a soft spot for those who need help, and will never back down from a fight. Job: Pro-bender stand in. Hobbies: Practicing his bending. Walking the streets of Republic city. If in a bad mood: Looking for fights. Weapon: Fang has learned to focus his fire into the form of a sword, and his bending is close to master level when he is relaxed. When his emotions run high, his bending becomes wild and almost uncontrollable. Lives: In the basement of the pro-bending arena. Its the cheapest place he could rent. Bio: Fang's father was once the prominent leader of a crime ring. Things were good for a while and Fang never wanted for anything. At the age of 12, a new gang moved into town. They were a trio of benders, Earth, Fire, and Water. tensions rose, and one fateful night the gangs met to settle who would rule the underground of the city. Sadly, Fang's father fell in the turf war, and his mother soon after. Now, alone and lost, the boy was taken in by his father's friend, the trainer of the bending arena. Fang grew up hating the dark underbelly of the city. He decided to thwart this new gang whenever he could. To pass the time and make some money, he began filling in for bending teams who either lost members, or for those who became injured.

Bio:Teskci was born in the Fire Nation. His birth was right after the death of Avatar Ang. He was raised to be one of the places guards at a young age. His farther had gon and served in the war and was apposed to the new peace and alwase told Teskci that he was to be strong no matter what. At the age of five Teskci still showed no signes of being a fire bender. His farther became ferious and shot his with a fire ball and in doing so mad Teskci eroupt in reage.

((sorry computer cut me off and now im on ps3))
Teskci eroupted in a blazing inferno after being shot 4 time by his farther. Green flames bursted from his lefy hand burnning his farthers right side and Teskci's left hand. Three years after the fight Teskci's mother died in her sleep. He had taken up a airbending Trainer to teach him was to keep clam. But unfortunetly his farther had taken up drinking. One night his farther came home, drunk as usal and started throwing things at him and began to verbualy asult him. Calling him "The bane of his life." and saying it was his fault he had lost his job and his wife. Finally Teskci could take no more but before he could say anythimng his farther shot him with a sloppy blast of fire. Teskci, now completly enraged inside, began to smolder as though he was a meber from a fire. Another shot hit him sting him off with a horried shout Teskic shout green flames at his farther from his mouth insinrating the man and the whole left side of the house. Teskci Fleed to Repb.city

Personality: Zhaidouji is normally what you would expect from most underground fighters; rude, arrogant, vulgar, ill-mannered, short-tempered, inconsiderate, etc. The only good points to him is that he can be a good sport ,funny and if he likes you, Easy to get along with, and only resorts to bending if it calls for it. Other than that he treats others with little respect, demoralizes any challenger who faces him, and attacks anyone who tries to ruin his match.

 Name: Akari Oshiro Age: 18 Gender:Female Bends: Fire ((Can Bend her fire to look like butterflies of birds)) Personality: Kind, Sturdy body, Fearless. Job?: Is like the arena's janitor in a way she cleans up any broken equipment, Sweeps the floors, and run's any errands the arena's owner has for her. She also tends to preform tricks and dances in the park and streets for quick cash. Hobbies: Dancing, Bending, Fighting Weapon: Her feet and hands, a small knife, and her pet Yo-Yo ((When he bites it hurts)) Lives: In a small building not far from the arena Bio: Akari was raised by a semi rich family outside of Republic city for most of her life.She was raised in a family of mostly guy's. ((3 older brothers, 2 younger brothers, Father, Uncles, and Mother)) Because she was the only female sibling her father and uncles trained her even harder then the brothers cause they didn't want a weak link in the family. Thanks to there harsh training she has several burns on her body which she try's to cover but gave up on some of them. Her mother on the other hand wanted her to be more lady like and when done her training she taught her how to dance which Akari enjoyed. One night however Akari went out to town and came back home an hour later to find her house burning and her family killed in there sleep by a gang of benders.  Name: Noctis Lucis Caelum Age: Nineteen Gender: Masculine Bends: Fire Personality: Noctis is a slightly taciturn young man who takes pride in his title but lacks in amour-propre. Being silent and reserved to those he deem unknown, he is articulate in speech when needed to speak; he chooses his words carefully and with tact, though, if piqued, he can obtain a sharp-tongue. Perhaps being a little ways overly circumspect (often due to a lack in trust or a fear of unfavorable outcomes), he prefers to keep his thoughts to himself. Noctis obdurately adheres to a firm set of aphorisms; he is empirical to a limited extent, though at times his sentimental issues drive him to make audacious decisions. Noctis is hesitant to forgive as he takes gradually to anger; he simply does not disregard transgressions committed opposed to him. Being one whom has a cacophonous presumption upon the kind of man, Noctis is known to shy away from those who are unfamiliar; he may come off as frigid or indifferent at best. However, he is willing (albeit hesitant) to extend a hand of affiliation if he deem the individual trustworthy and relatively conscientious. Job?: Unemployed for the time being. Hobbies: He usually likes to sit in quiet places and contemplate life or train alone. Weapon: Bow/Sword - A sword that serves just as its recognition suggests. Made by custom standards, this sword transforms from bow to sword in quick, easy movements. Lives: Any decent area he can find. Bio: As a child, Noctis was fond of his mother. The maiden had always looked after the lad as any caring mother would. However, the maiden passed away whilst the boy was still but a child; due to thus, Noctis is not terribly familiar with his mother, nor does he hold many memories of her… nevertheless, he venerates the memory of his late angel. His "father" is an entirely different story. Noctis was more so born human, having most of his genes from his mother, and it was his father who took it away. Noctis doesn't really care about the whole immortality think, but nevertheless Noctis would speak of the man with derision and scorn, if he ever came into mind. The man ever spoke with Noctis during his childhood (even after his mother's death), if ever, being preoccupied with his pro-bending job and/or training more than the development of his only son. Often, they would have arguments about such things; due to thus, Noctis wrongly perceives his father as an opponent. When speaking with one another, they are often brusque and would prefer to keep the conversation as brief as possible; any further interaction would undoubtedly lead to a heated dispute.

 About 5'8 in height and weighs 134 pounds. Name:Natsumi "Nat" Masuyo Age:18 Gender:*Looks down pants* Hmm, well something appears to be missing, So I would have to say I'm a female you idiots. Bends:Fire Personality:Many people say I am sarcastic, which I kinda agree too. They also say that I'm fun and a great friend to have as well. Though, If I feel that something is wrong I'm not scared to say what is on my mind. I also like to help people sometimes too. Job?:Does being awesome count? No.. *Sighs* Fine.. *pouts* Hobbies:Meeting new people, and drawing (also singing, but nobody ever listens.) Weapon:Pieces of metal that I had a earth bender change into long cylinders with sharp points on the ends. I also have a sword too. Lives:In a small apartment on the outskirts of town. Bio:Honestly, I do not remember my past. I was attacked by a polar bear dog a few months ago and I guess the trauma made my memory go blank. I woke up in a hospital bed in Republic City so I just moved into a small apartment and lived my life. The strange thing about losing my memory is the fact I remember all of my fire bending skills, things I like to do, and my name, but family, friends, my background I have no idea what those were. I guess it will come back to me eventually.

Personality: Mature, calm, calculating, strong; all of these words describe Sage. He is a natural born fighter and tactician. He believes in the balance of mind and body and often looks down upon those who solely rely upon bending in battle. He has a soft spot for children and often seeks to directly interact with those of Republic City. Job?: [Emissary from the Fire Nation. Hobbies: Training, reading, writing, teaching. Weapon: A single sword with a straight, long, red blade and a rapier guard. Lives: In a fairly high class apartment close to the Fire Nation's embassy. Bio: Sage is the son of a Fire Nation noble named Rowen who sought to live out his ambitions through his son. Sage was given the highest level of education his father's estate could afford and was trained from a young age in the martial arts and bending by the local masters. He excelled in all but the arts, for which he has a great appreciation for, and caught the eyes of many higher class nobles and even those that served directly under the Fire Lord. Rowen had hoped that his son would help the family gain greater political influence, and was sure that he would achieve that and more. However, Sage wanted nothing to do with the politics of the world, finding that all those involved were searching for ways to benefit themselves more than the people under them. Much to his father's disappointment, Sage chose to be a servant of the people, starting now, as he nears the prime of his life, as an emissary of the Fire Nation to Republic City. There he is to oversee the development of the City's educational system which has yet to meet the standards Fire Lord Zuko and the late Avatar Aang had hoped for. He has also been ordered to help put an end to the non-bender uprising by any means necessary. Physical Description: Sage stands at roughly five foot, six inches, is fairly muscular, and has a rather pale complexion. His hair reaches down to his nose, is as black as the midnight sky, and is usually combed down neatly, though it has the annoying tendency to fall back into place over his eyes. His eyes are an unusual shade of crimson. Sage is often seen wearing plain clothing, usually consisting of black pants, a red top with the Fire Nation insignia displayed on the left shoulder, black boots, and a long, black coat with a button down, form fitting top, the bottom drapes around his legs and is cut into four sections to allow a wider range of movement. He often wears a sword belt under his coat with scabbard attached, but forsakes it when at schools or when interacting with the youth.

Personality: While Kazura is a very passionate and intelligent woman, she can get bored very easily. She needs a constant form of entertainment or she will go out in search of a thrill. Kazura has a deep love for men and constantly seeks out the perfect companion. Because of her luxurious upbringing, she believes that she is the queen and deserves nothing less than the very best. She thinks that everyone, not matter what, should treat her like a queen. If she considers you a friend or you are her family, she would do anything in the world to make sure you were happy and safe. If for some reason she doesn’t like you or you were an enemy of her friends, may the Spirits have mercy on your mortal soul…
Job: No job at the moment, there is no need for her to work. Kazura is the only daughter of a wealthy Fire Nation Ambassador. Even if she had the option to work, she wouldn’t. Physical work is for the poor.
Hobbies: Going to Pro-bending matches, knife throwing, traditional bending, old-time Fire Nation fashion.
Weapon: Her bending talents and a variety of sharp throwing knives and darts. She keeps several knifes on her person at all times.
Lives: Kazura was originally born in the Fire Nation near the capitol city but is currently a resident of Republic City because of her father being an ambassador of the Fire Nation. Her residence is a high class apartment over looking the water, her father lives in his own estate across town. She plans to remain in the city even after her father retires due to her love for city life.
Bio: She is an only child, born in the Fire Nation to a very wealthy noble family of benders. She and her family moved to Republic City when she was 5 years old because of her fathers work. He had been promoted to become an ambassador for the Fire Nation in the United Republic of Nations. Her father was asked by the former Fire Lord Zuko to accept this job before he had stepped down from the throne. Of course he accepted this honorific title. Within a few months after moving to the great city, tragedy had struck the family. Kazura’s mother was killed by a group of thugs and held for ransom. Negotiations raged on for close to two years, but no matter how much money her father offered, it was not enough. It is not known what happened to her mother, it is assumed she was murdered. Fearing for his daughters life, the Fire Nation Ambassador sent Kazura back to the Fire Nation “for extensive schooling” as he told the presses. That wasn’t a total lie, she did spend seven years of her time in the Fire Nation studying the traditional ways of fire bending. During her trials in the Fire Nation she developed a fascination and advanced skill for throwing knives. Ten years passed and Kazura blossomed into a beautiful young lady. Her father was suffering from severe depression and could not bare to be away from his pride and joy any longer, so he had her come back to Republic City to stay. The years have passed and now Kazura is a 19 year old woman. Republic City is as dangerous as ever… Her father is reluctant to let her out of his sight; this makes Kazura even more strong willed. Even though she is a bender, she does respect and look up to the Equalists, more importantly she admires Amon.

 Name: Layla Age: 24 Gender: Female Bends: Fire/Lightning Personality: A robust woman. She tends to be outspoken and fights for what she believes in. One of a kind and is a leader. Has a small temper. A determined woman who has her eyes on the prize. Isn't one to make friends with girls because of the drama that comes with them. A woman who gets along so much better with men and being rebellious. Job?: Wants to be a singer/musician. Currently teaches firebending kids on the street. Hobbies: Singing, dancing, bending, watching Pro-Bending matches, fighting. Weapons: None. Lives: In her own apartment near the Pro Bending arena. She's currently living alone. Bio: A woman who never took s**t from anybody, she ran away from home around fifteen. The reason she left was for her freedom. She didn't want to be tied down to her family, yet they are all still alive. She found refuge in a small tea shop where she worked and raised enough money to live on her own. After purchasing her own apartment and finding her way in life, she was able to try and achieve her dream. She practiced singing every day and auditioned for different singing roles in bands and such. Her husky and rich voice wasn't what the jazz players were looking for, so now she stills looks to make her own music. After that, she plans on becoming a Pro-Bender, at least for fun. But there's nothing wrong with a little competition.
