FInvara was legitimately angry. The second man to catch her eye just had to be a Nobleman as well, and just had flaunt his superiority. "Didn't even have the balls to ride on the back of a peasants horse…" she said, throwing her quiver down next to the fountain with force, pacing back and forth, running her hands through her long red curls. "Completely absurd…" Even if things were to develop between them, she knew it would be an "I'm ashamed to be seen with you" type relationship.
She let out a yell of frustration before collapsing on the side of the fountain, her knees up, and her hair falling in the water. "I'm swearing off men. That's it."

Azen Stormcloud Knight
[Entering from Training Grounds]
Azen, having realized something rode into the garden, and made his way to the fountain. It took a while for him to rest after that small burst of energy he had in the training grounds, then he lifted his visor and saw Finvara by the fountain. He walked his horse over to the fountain then dismounted, then knelt down in front of Finvara and looked at her face. "I demand your attention." he said.

She heard a horse enter the garden, but she paid no mind to it, letting her fingers graze over the surface of the water. She heard the clinking of armor and her head turned. She as still lying down on the edge of the fountain, her hair falling in the water now as she looked at Azen Stormcloud. She swallowed hard, looking down at the ground for a moment before looking back at him. "Back in that ridiculous getup, I see?" A weak attempt at teasing. The smallest of smiles. "I'm listening…"

Azen Stormcloud Knight
"I have realized what I had been lacking this whole time I've been with you, and I am here now, before your presence, to present my feelings. I admire you, Finvara, and I admire how you are not afraid to let people know what's on your mind, noble or not. I also admire your red hair, for there is the absence of redheads in the East. I admire you completely, and I would like you to be my bride." Azen spoke, taking a few deep breaths as he started turning red.

SPLASH.
As completely nimble and graceful as Finvara was in the forest, she was a complete and utter klutz when it came to matters of the opposite sex. Did he say bride?! She stood up, now soaked and in the fountain, her jaw nearly unhinged from her mouth. "How could you…? But I'm… I'm not a…" She couldn't get a clear thought out. How could he like her? Did he forget the fact that she was a peasant? She sighed, trying to regain her composure. Was she shaking? She looked back up at him with a shy smile on her lips. "Are…are you sure you really want to do that to yourself?" She laughed a bit, softly. "I mean…look at me!" Soaking wet from red hair to toe. Her heart was beating ridiculously fast.

Azen Stormcloud Knight
Azen watched as Finvara got soaked in the fountain's waters. It was fairly warm out this night, so she should be fine, but just in case, Azen returned to his mount and got the blanket and unrolled it, then wrapped it around Finvara's shoulders. "Peasant or not, I fell in love with you." Azen said with a smile. "The first time I saw you, you were wet from head to toe. I fell in love with your appearance. I stayed with you in the kitchen and liked your hospitality. In the forest, you showed me a piece of your mind and now I realized you are the one suited to be my bride. There's no question about it." Azen smiled brightly at Finvara.

Finvara was surprised. She was completely oblivious to the fact that he had feelings for her. There was absolutely no way she could have known. "I think I fell for you when you finally took this armor off," she smirked, unhooking his helmet and lifting it off of his head before setting it by the fountain. As he wrapped the blanket around her, she stepped out of the fountain onto the edge. She was only a tad bit taller than him while on it. She moved a strand of hair from his face, the other hand gripping the shoulder of his armor. "I accept," she whispered with a small smile before leaning down to press her lips against his.

Azen Stormcloud Knight
Azen was smiling when Finvara took his helmet off, and when she stood up on the side of the fountain, he looked straight into her eyes, however he did not expect a kiss. When her lips touched his, the blood rushed to his face, but it soon subsided as he closed his eyes and held Finvara close to him, replying with his own effort into the kiss they shared.

She could feel her cheeks turn bright red as his arms embraced her, returning the kiss. After a minute, she pulled away. "I hope that wasn't too forward of me," she said quietly, smiling down at him. "And by the way, now that we're engaged, I think I'm entitled to know all of your secrets, Sir Stormcloud. You can't take me back to the East completely in the dark." She stepped down off of the side of the fountain, still in his arms. "Maybe we could save that for a picnic by the waterfall one day? And you have to leave the armor behind for that," she told him with a grin. Her heart was soaring.

Azen Stormcloud Knight
"I don't have too many secrets. Just a few." Azen said as he kissed Finvara's cheek. "And no, that was not too forward. I liked it." Azen added. He was happy that he found someone to love, and someone who wasn't afraid to be herself as well. figuring the metal of his armor might be cold to the touch for Finvara, he let go of her and smiled brightly. "Perhaps a picnic would be nice. Why don't we retire to your room for the night? You need to get dry." Azen stated, taking interest in the well-being of his fiancee.

She grinned as he kissed her cheek, and grabbed his hand when he let go of her. She reached around and pulled all of her wet hair to one side, wringing it out as they walked down the garden paths to her room above the kitchen. It had been a strange couple of days. Was she really engaged? It was a lot to take in. She still had a lot to learn about her mysterious fiancee.

[ENTER ((um...)) STAGE RIGHT ((xD))]
Finvara sat alone in the garden, her morale lower than ever. So much had happened within the last 24 hours, and to add to all of that, she had to go and get herself injured. She refused to go to the medical wing to see Ewan. She had gone straight to the kitchen, where her helpers did as their name suggested, and helped her upstairs to change, wash the blood from her and her clothes, and patch up the wound. It had been a ridiculous task. They all begged her to go to the medical wing, every last one of them too squeamish to pull the arrow out of her calf, so she ended up doing it herself. "You gut bloody cows and pigs, yet you won't pull a bleeding arrow out of my leg?!" she cursed, taking a deep breath and tugging the arrow out of her leg. The pain. So much pain. Unfortunately it had been a serrated tip. So the removal was anything but clean.
She sat on the edge of the garden fountain, meditating on the days events. The fight with Ewan, Azen breaking the engagement... She wasn't too disappointed. It was perhaps a bit of a rushed thing. And the break was clean. She wished him all the luck in the world. Her leg was bandaged, and she used a make shift cane to get around…very slowly. She could hardly put weight on it. And the bruises on her back from the deers antlers were deep purple and yellow. Getting around was downright painful. Everything hurt. Even her heart…
Finvara sighed. "What in God's name have I done to deserve this? No matter what I do, I always seem to end up alone and in pain…" She pulled her unharmed knee up to her chest and buried her face in her hands, taking a deep breath.

Cadvan had just left the village inn where he had been staying and decided to try and make his next target the castle. From what I've heard, they haven't had a proper musician in a long while... He said before he walked past the fountain. As he passed by, he saw Finvara out of the corner of his eye and stopped and took several steps backwards before falling backwards as well. Landing on his rear, he grumbled, "Damn... why couldn't I just walk as well as I play?" He mumbled to himself before standing up and walking over to the fountain and sitting down next to her.
He then took a better look at the woman and saw that she was injured. Luckily for him, he knew how to handle deep wounds of the like and quickly asked, "ma'am, would you care for me to help you with your wounds?" His French accent shown through in his sketchy Scottish.╔════════════════════════════════ I can't do the talk like the talk on the TV And I can't do a love song like the way it's meant to be I can't do everything but I'd do anything for you Can't do anything except be in love with you. ════════════════════════════════╝
