It was a long day of school, and the detention afterwards, though deserved, was even more draining for her, and Gwendolyn Caspian was more than ready to go home and throw her bags on her bed and sleep. But there was no rest for the wicked, and of course, that meant that there was no rest for the Senshi as well. Without glancing at the note that Maddy left on the fridge, Gwen had tossed her belongs onto the couch, replenished Micah's foodbowl, and immediately transformed, sneaking out of the apartment window and beginning her patrol.

She wasn't sure what it was about the transformation, but she felt alive again. Rejuvenated. Perhaps she was meant to be a Senshi and her civilian form was the disguise all along? If that was the case, she certainly wouldn't have objected to it.

So, here she was again, out on the street in full uniform, ready to defend what she considered 'her turf'. Tsui always took her patrols seriously, wanting to protect everyone from the agents of Chaos, from the elderly, to the ruffians that paraded the streets, to even the strays that lived in the alleyways. They were all hers to protect, so like a tiger, she stalked the streets. The more she remained a Senshi, the closer she came to finding her purpose. Perhaps tonight would be the night?

So, she put out her feelers, trying to concentrate on any dark energy that might have been around. 'Come out, come out, wherever you are...'

And dark energy was certainly around. Though it would be debatable whether or not the senshi of tigers dared seek out the source. Navi, Dark Mirror Senshi of Tumble weeds, was on a completely different level then the white moon soilder she could feel on the edge of her senses. Not only that, the ginger haired warrior was still in a foul mood over the merciless beating of not only her teammate, but her adored boyfriend. The kindly young man was lucky to be alive, and Navi was out for blood in the bid of some kind of ideal of vengeance.

Her Vendetta against the knights was one thing, personal, almost trivial. The attack on Virtus? That would not stand. She still had to hunt down Ate, her supposed friend, the brutal attacker. The Senshi of pollution had betrayed her, and she still didn't know what she was going to do about it.

Until then though, she would hunt, and she make the white moon pay as dearly as they'd tried to make her.

Tsui wouldn't have to go out of her way to find Navi, the Dark Senshi was already moving closer, making her way from rooftop to rooftop until she was almost on top of the other girl, and then leaping down to land with a metallic clang of boots hitting metal as she landed on the fire escape in the alley running parallel the street the other girl was moving down. "Are you looking for me?" She called after her, pink lips shining in the dim light as she grinned.

Tsui could not help but jump at the sound of boots hitting metal, and she was damn lucky that she didn't trip over her own feet when she came to a screeching halt and spun about to face her. Thankfully she had good balance, and she stood her ground as the other senshi called out to her.

"Not you personally, but I'm not too picky," Tsui called back, taking in this senshi's appearance and determining that the dark aura she felt was her. Tsui wasn't that foolish little girl she was months ago; she knew that the amount of black on her attire was a clear sign as to this senshi's alliance. Not to mention there was a glint in her eyes, one that Tsui did not like.

"So, member of the DMC, right? I'll cut to the chase..." Her golden eyes narrowed, keeping them on the other, older, likely stronger senshi, letting her know her stance right off the bat. "Not interested."

She clenched her fists and remained as she were, taking to heart Kallichore's warning and her own experience when dealing with a member of the Dark Mirror Court. She kept her cool, either confident in her own abilities now, or completely oblivious to the world of hurt that she was practically waltzing into

The other girl's answer earned an amused look from the dark senshi, a curl of ginger falling along her cheek as her head tilted gently to the side. "Is that so?" Her tone held every once of humor that showed on her face, but there was a certain amount of condescension to go along with it. While perhaps not brand new, the white moon senshi below was still just a baby, power wise, and the bravado she was putting up spoke of inexperience, or naivety.

Or maybe even stupidity. Hard to tell from only a few statements. Navi would reserve judgement, for now.

"Not interested, hmm?" She chuckled, leaning forward. "That's a little rude, don't you think? You don't even know if I have something I'd want to offer you, let alone what that might be."

The manicured tips of the two exposed fingers of her left hand tapped softly against the railing. "Besides that, who's to say I'll accept that answer?" Her tone was casual, even conversational, but there was something in it that betrayed her. Some underlying level of animosity that let on that she had no real interest in trying to recruit the other girl to the Dark Mirror court. It was selfish, she knew it, but her anger at the "Pure" court of the moon was coloring her judgement. She wanted to make them hurt, every last one of them, for the pain they'd caused. Not just Grant's, but her own, and every last one of her friends and teammates. There comes a time when duty can only withstand so much before it sways to free will, and Navi's limit had been reached when she'd found her darling laying bleeding on her bedroom floor.

There would be other days to search for new alliances for her beloved court, but for now, vengeance.

"Rude? Little ol' me? Nah..." Tsui kept on a brave front, though it could easily have been mistaken for plain ignorance, and though she had to admit that this senshi's presence was overwhelming, she stood her ground. She had no idea who this Dark Mirror senshi was and no idea what kind of vendetta she had against her or any member of her court, but Tsui was certain that a fight between the two of them was inevitable. The intensity in those eyes of hers, the curl of her lip, the overwhelming dark aura she felt emanating from this senshi's presence, all pointed to one thing: a fight.

And Tsui, confident in her abilities despite her low rank, and fueled by the knowledge she obtained from Ate and Kallichore, was not going to back down from that fight.

She didn't strike out, not yet, but she remained at the ready for when they inevitably clashed. "I've already run into one of your teammates and he gave me the spiel. He conveniently left out the part where you gave up your soul to join the Dark Mirror Court, though, so I promised Kallichore that I'd take up an immediate 'Just Say No' policy."

She could not recall any specific names that Kallichore had mentioned, and she half wondered if this was one of her old comrades that was forced to change, or one of the senshi that was tricked into joining them after the fact. She called out to her, clenching her fists with anticipation. "I'm Sailor Tsui, Senshi of Tigers... proud ally of Kallichore, Chibi Lenka and Ate!"

Soul? The word brought a startled laugh from the senshi before she could stop it, and once free the giggles lingered for a moment after the fact. "Souls have nothing to do with this," she interjected, amusement still heavy in her voice. Navi had neither been forced into her role, nor tricked. She'd be awakened into the Dark Mirror Court in the midst of the biggest battle she had ever witnessed. She owed her life to her queen, but her soul was her own. "We're not 'evil', simply chaotic." Frankly, having witnessed both sides of the war, she'd come to realize that it was the White Moon that seemed more Violent.

Now wasn't the time to debate the sins of either court. Navi wasn't here for a new team mate, so it didn't really matter to her what this other girl thought. If circumstances were different, then perhaps, but the Senshi of Tumbleweeds was in no mood.

She stared down at the other girl as she introduced herself, smiling indulgently all the way up to the point where Ate's name rang out between them. "Ate?" Whatever humor Navi had been holding onto was gone now, and the old metal of the fire escape's handrail creaked under the delicate fingers as she tightened her hold.

Ate, friend and confidant, future ally and team mate. Traitor. Betrayer. The mere thought of her was enough to make the ginger's lip curl. So the senshi below her was a friend of Ate? How utterly perfect. "Karma provides.." She breathed, hazel eyes narrowing.

The space between them was closed rapidly as Navi ignored the ladder and simply jumped from the fire escape. Landing with practiced ease in her heels no more then a yard from senshi of tigers. "I'm going to enjoy this," she informed the girl before her, and that cold little smile was back again. It was the only warning Tsui would get before the dark soldier struck, her whole body turning as she kicked her leg up, foot aimed for the side of the other girl's head.

Sailor Tsui knew she said something wrong the moment those eyes of hers grew cold, and within seconds, the ginger-haired Senshi had leapt down from the fire escape and approached her. Her cold words were enough of a warning for Tsui to prepare for a strike, but even then, she barely, JUST barely avoided that kick to the head, though at the cost of her nearly losing her balance and falling back. Years of gymnastics had never paid off until now, as she was able to twist her form and catch herself from falling flat on her butt, though her knee rattled from hitting the cold concrete. Whatever she had said to set Navi off, Tsui almost regretted it, as she looked just about ready to kill her with the intensity of that stare alone.

And yet, Tsui couldn't keep her mouth shut, even as she brought her curled fists up and prepared to give a strike of her own. "Seems I hit a nerve or something... guess you do have a soul after all..."

The senshi of Tigers charged forward, withholding her Tiger Fist Strike for now and going for a punch instead; she didn't want to risk wasting her energy so soon, especially since, unlike Remarque, this Dark Mirror Senshi looked ready to kill and made it clear that there were no intentions of conversions. That meant no mercy. Tsui could oblige by that... she drove her fist forward, hoping for a hit and preparing her other fist just in case. Perhaps a foolish effort, but she had to try! For Kallichore, for Ate!

"Or something," the dark senshi hissed in answer as the tiger dodged her kick to the head. So she had skill, at least enough to hold her own, but she couldn't save herself entirely, and Navi's lips twitched in satisfaction as the other girl's knee connected solidly with the pavement. From personal experience she knew that had to hurt.

It wasn't enough to slow the white senshi down though, not that she expected it to. First impressions painted Tsui as a feisty individual, and Navi was confident she wouldn't go down without a proper fight. Well, that was just dandy as far as the ginger haired girl was concerned. She wouldn't have been satisfied with anything less then an all out brawl with someone at least worth her efforts. It would make every strike that connected all the more sweet. "Soul's have little to do with this." The girl's first punch was dodged, and already Navi had an arm up to block the second, through not quite fast enough. Pale knuckles clipped her cheek, splitting the corner of her lip, but Navi didn't give the tiger the satisfaction of a reaction before moving in to strike herself.

"You-" Both hands shot out to grab for the back of the other girl's head, and if she managed it, she'd yank that pretty face down to connect with her raising knee. "Are unfortunate enough to ally yourself with a traitor." It wasn't terribly sporting of her, but Navi was starting to grow sick of upholding a moral code that her enemies swore she never possessed. If she and her court were expected to fight dirty, then she would happily oblige.

Tsui was proud of herself for getting a strike in, but before she could even think to celebrate or boast, Navi had recovered and grabbed the back of her head. The Tiger senshi had played enough video games and watched enough action movies to know what was coming, but knowing and being able to react appropriately were two completely different things, as she was painfully reminded of this. The knee hit her square on the nose and upper lip, and as many schoolyard brawls that Tsui's civilian counterpart had been a part of, she couldn't brush off such an attack, even with the added strength that came with her transforming into her Senshi form.

Needless to say, it hurt, but somehow, Tsui had managed to stay on her feet but just barely. Instead, she dropped to one knee and tried to pull herself free of the other Senshi's grip, even though that would have meant backing away and giving her more ground, but when in the middle of a brawl, pride could have no say so unless one survived. And somehow, Tsui had managed to hear her words and the venom behind them, and she could not keep her curiosity down as she asked, even as she tried to pull away. "Traitor? Who? Last I heard, you and your Dark Mirror Court were the traitors..."

Tsui had a back up plan already brewing in her mind. If this Navi could not be shaken off, then she was at least close enough for her attack, and Tsui refrained from initiating the attack, gathering her energy as quietly as possible though she was certain that the white aura that would gather in her hands would be visible from this close range. Still, it was worth a shot...

Satisfaction came in the sound of flesh colliding with bone. Slender fingers curled within bi-colored hair as her knee connected to the other girl's face, btu she let her go as she jerked free to nurse her wound. The sight of the blood was enough to bring a grin to the dark senshi's lips. This girl was good, but Navi still had the advantage in power. She might not have started this new life with much experience in fighting, but she'd trained, and she'd learned fast.

The grin slipped away as Tsui spoke again, and Navi could feel the corners of her lips jerking as she fought of a snarl. "You don't know anything about my court or what we represent." Another mindless follower of the false queen Serenity. Absentee monarch of a flawed court. They were fools, all of them.

Tsui was right to assume the Dark Mirror Senshi would sense the gathering aura, and Navi's attention dropped to the soft glow forming between the other girl's hands. Curiosity dictated she wait and see what the tiger had brewing, but self preservation had other ideas.

One slender arm rose, hand turned up so her palm was directed at the other senshi. Immediately the wind in the alley began to pick up, whipping at ginger curls and bi-colored hair alike. Swirling around them before gathering at the Senshi of Tumbleweed's hand. A preemptive strike. There was nothing subtle about Navi's attack. "Whiplash blast." The swirling ball cannoned from the dark senshi's hand, launched directly for the other senshi's torso, and the energy gathered between her hands just before it.

There were times that Tsui wished that the powers that came with her sphere were more geared towards the stealth aspect of the tiger, as the smallest bit of subtly would have spared her in the long run. She wasn't too surprised that Navi had seen her preparing for her attack and had countered it with one of her own, and Tsui had no choice but to release the attack, now that she had gathered enough energy to do so.

The balled up tumbleweed spiraled towards her and Tsui unleashed her attack, hoping that she'd be able to break through attack, or in the very least, defend herself from bulk of the effects, and her desperation rang in her shout as she charged forward. "Tiger Fist STRIKE!"

Tiger clawed shaped white energy met with the projectile tumbleweed and both of them had collided, and thanks to Navi's strength and the blowing wind, Tsui did not get enough momentum behind her charge and in the end, the tumbleweed had won. It survived the white aura and pushed forward, hitting Tsui square in the chest and throwing the Tiger senshi back a few feet, hitting the wall with a pained grunt. Besides the shout, Tsui was speechless as she slunk to the ground, and she struggled to shake the effects of the attack, as well as the impact with the wall, as she looked at the Dark senshi before her with a spat, "Well... s**t..."

There was an second there where the DMC wondered if the other girl's attack would break through her ball of wind, but that second past and the swirling attack struck the Senshi of Tigers square in the chest and sent her slamming back into a wall with a satisfying thud.

Well, it should have been satisfying. The fire that had fueled her at the beginning of their battle seemed to be shrinking as the minutes flew by. She was still angry, still wanted Ate, and all those connected to her, to pay. Navi was vindictive, but this..? As angry as she was at Ate, it wasn't enough to make her forget her mission, or to distract from the fact that the senshi in front of her was nothing more then a misguided fool who had lost their way.

It stole the smile from her face, dimmed the fierce light in her eyes to a dull glimmer as she stalked forward towards the fallen Senshi of Tigers. "How very articulate." She stopped a little ways before her, arms crossing under her chest, and stared down at the tiger as she worked to shake off the effects of the attack. "You're lucky I've lost my interest in you, for now." The delicate point of her chin tipped to one side, expression gone momentarily thoughtful. "You are strong though, so I doubt this will be the last we see of each other." Tsui might not be interested in the Dark Mirror Court now, but that didn't mean she couldn't be persuaded later.

Her energy quota filled for the evening, Navi had no reason to get her mirror wraith from the cuff of her boot. Besides, the shards were too fragile and too important to risk them being broken by a power opponent that had only appeared to be beaten.

"I'll leave you now to lick your wounds, but bare in mind, I could have done some much worst to you." She turned, hazel eyes lingering on the other senshi briefly before she started walking down the alley. "We're not the heartless villains you think we are. One day you'll see things clearly." And with that she was gone, disappearing onto a nearby roof in a single leap and sinking back into the night.

Tsui had expected the Dark Mirror senshi to close in on her and leave a few more bruises on her, and Tsui would have had it coming for picking a fight with not only an obviously more powerful opponent, but one that apparently had a pretty big grudge against one of her friends. Tsui was bracing herself for the beat down that was to come, but she was completely surprised with the sudden turn of events.

Surprised, and perhaps a little ungrateful, as she could not help but feel confused, and a little indignant, that her opponent didn't even feel it was necessary to finish her off. She kept her comments to herself, however, as she glared at the Senshi that leaped onto the rooftop with a single bound as though she were Superman. 'Given the thrashing I received... she has every right to be considered Superman...'

Sailor Tsui was a proud senshi, but she could acknowledge when she had been beaten, at least. There was no use in denying that this Super Sailor Navi had won this encounter, and with little effort on her part. This both made Tsui weary, and a little envious as well, and she counted that it was two, two Dark Mirror Senshi that had bested her now, and she wondered if it merely their own strength, or the strength that came with their conversions into the Dark Mirror Court.

Not that it would matter to Tsui, as she still had no intentions of aligning with such a group. At least not willingly, Tsui told herself, pushing herself back to her feet and rubbing a hand over her lips to see if she was bleeding from the kick. She gave a spat in Navi's direction, but wisely she did not follow, nor shout the words aloud, should she hear it and entice her to return to the fight, a fight that Tsui knew she couldn't win that this time. She was right in one aspect, however... she wasn't as heartless as she was led to believe, if Navi was truly willing to kill her (or in the very least mess her up) to avenge one of her wounded comrades.

"I see things clear enough alright... mess with the wolf, and you'll get the whole pack."

And Tsui rather admired that kind of depth of companionship among her enemies, something that the White Moon Court could learn from. For now, Tsui was content enough in the thought of surviving another night, as she slunked away from the battlefield with her tail between her legs. Her pride would recover, as well as her wounds... she simply needed the time.
