Hotaru was having trouble keeping her beast at bay. It wanted Sesshomaru. it was whining to her to just let go and accept. Her mind refused though. He wasn't the one for her. As they moved toward the sword, Hotaru felt dazed. In an instant he released her. It was at that moment she heard the guardian. Before she could do anything though, Sesshomaru yanked her back against him. As soon as his lips touched hers, her world exploded. There was sensation that spread throughout her entire body, lighting it on fire. It was at that moment that a shadow dragon appeared. It was very angry. It reared up and hissed at them. This was an ancient guardian. Not even Sesshomaru would be able to defeat it easily. Hotaru eased back from Sesshomaru, panting. She was only a couple of inches from his lips. "Why...? Only her own blood would sate the dragon so that they could leave but she was much too dazed to even let Sesshomaru know. Her mind was still focused on the kiss. The dragon itself appeared to be waiting for Sesshomaru to release her. If he didn't soon, then it would attack. It sensed her family line but if need be, it would destroy her. She felt Sesshomaru pushing her away from him then. Instinctively, she reached out but suddenly she was back on the cliff with Hiro. Falling to her knees, she panted in shock. He had sent her away. The b*****d had sent her away. Why had he kissed her in the first place? Just to distract her? It was unfair. Inside her beast was howling at its loss. It had wanted him. Grabbing hold of the pendant around her neck, she clutched it tightly. "Grandmother protect him." The words became unbidden. Hopefully her Grandmother's presence would help him. Ironically enough, her Grandmother had been a human miko at birth but had changed to become an Inu youkai with miko powers. Her powers had been passed down to the female children in the family but they had never been able to be truly free. She herself was extremely weak against miko energy. If her grandmother did indeed show up to help protect Sesshomaru, she would appear in her human form with black hair and grey eyes. |

Lorelei Infection Survivalist

The young female took a tight grasp upon her temple as she pulled herself to her knees. Her headaches were becoming more and more frequent, a skull splitting pain accompanied with such symptoms. Loree's blurry vision could make out a small puddle of crimson tinted bile across the ground. "My blood?" she asked confusedly as she attempted to survey the area. Nearby, a gentle thud could be heard, a samurai warrior being subdued with a simple sleeper hold that would merely cause him to fall unconscious for a bit of time.
Lorelei's Ruby red eyes focused on a tall slender male, completely void of skin pigment, his flesh as pale as the moon sky. His eyes were not one made of a killer, she could gather that much before her skull began to throb painfully again."S..Sunnuva...!" she muttered weakly as her vision began to fade. The pale male simply gave a small smile while he waved her goodbye. He understood the host was being suppressed by the inner demon that was lying dormant, or so to speak. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Myuun and Kyuub The Duo of Death

Myuun stared quietly as he watched the host shake violently. The passing of spirits to control a vessel was never a easy transition. Those of which that transfer souls without feeling any hint of pain are either false practitioners or creators of the techniques, which is highly unlikely. Lorelei had finally been bested, and Kyuub dominated the vessel as his own for the time being. "She is starting to put up too much of a fight now Myuun. Its important that we get me another body before she grows strong enough to repel me completely." he said causally, as if it weren't even a factor for him.
Myuun nodded silently as he stared off into space. There was something in the distance. Something that was urging him to go. His soft eyes examined Kyuub who had nodded in silence as well. "So you feel it too then huh? With a lower like that, I would be satisfied until I regain my true vessel back. Myuun, your objective is to capture whatever force creating such powerful skills. Lorelei will likely attempt to kill them if you don't watch her carefully. I'm far too exhausted to keep her back for much longer. You have your mission." he ordered rashly as he reverted to his original space that was locked inside of the teenager.
Myuun once again witnessed the convulsions of the powers at play. Lorlei observed Myuun carefully who had been watching her as she came to. He had often protected her, and although he helped her do horrible things, he never actually took a life or done anything extremely dishonorable. He stared into the distance, stretching his arm outward while his slender little index finger pointed. "Oh, you saying its time to leave? she asked Myuun quietly. Myuun nodded, beginning to walk away. Lorelei quickly rose to her feet and followed suit. Inside, she hated being Kyuub's personal slave, but if she didn't, he would likely kill her, he could now if he so wished to. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ |
