Maelie walked silently down the small sidewalk of Lumena Castle Town with a purse pushed up onto her shoulder, her destination; the market. Her eyes grazed over the buildings that lined either side of the street. Nothing seemed to really stand out to her along her journey, which was mostly due to the fact that she had a place in mind of where she wanted to go and nothing was going to deter her from that course. However, she could easily swing back through and indulge herself in the stores she had passed.
After some time of walking she arrived in front of a large building that had a sign just above it's door that told all that passed by that this was indeed the market. Creativity in the name seemed to be lacking but Maelie didn't seem like she minded in the least. In fact, she might have enjoyed the simplicity of it. With a quick smoothing out of the bottom of her dress Maelie entered the establishment. Her eyes seemed a bit more alert than usual and might have also shown a glimmer of this being one of her favorite places in Lumena. Upon entering she grabbed a large forest green basket and placed it on her left arm, leaving her right one free to grab whatever she intended to buy.
Sparing no further time at it's entrance the ars lilium moved onto the produce section that was situation on the front right of the store. She walked straight to the banana and oranges stand and began picking out several that fit her liking. They were of course the absolute perfect specimens that she could find among the bunch. After she had a bags full of each she continued on through the rest of the produce section, picking up other fruits and vegetables as she went. Once she was out of that section she moved onto the aisle that held canned and jarred good. Oh she would be spending quite a bit of time here.
As soon as she entered the aisle her eyes found a jar that was not at all in the right part of the shelf. Maelie took in a deep breath and grabbed the jar. Thankfully it was something she needed. She placed it within her basket and moved on to another jarred item. This time she stopped and eyed the contents of the shelf. Pasta sauce. It was her arch nemesis. Why did there have to be so many brands and flavors? Every time she found one she liked she could never find it again in the store. Not that it wasn't there, but she could never remember what it was with all the other flavors and brands that overloaded her brain. Maelie sighed though she showed no further frustration with her situation.
