Rina walked into Biology explained to the teacher that Yukiko would not make it because she was resting off a fever. A small white lie just so that the teacher would not complain later. "Alright just make sure to write double notes for her. There is a test next class.." The teacher said to Rina and Rina nodded and took her seat and looked down at the empty one next to her. "Oh Yukiko you work to hard..." Rina said quietly to herself.

╚══════════════╝  Kotaro walked into the Biology lab and sat down on the other side or Rina. "She went down alright?" He asked cuase he was slightly concerned as he continued to suck on his tootsiepop, his book already opened to the lesson for the day as he was always extremely prepared it seemed.
"I was younger then, I wasn’t afraid of anything, I didn’t think about dying for a second. I thought I was invincible. Then I met some girl. I wanted to live, I started to think like that; for the first time I was afraid of death. I had never felt like that before."

Rina looked over at Kotaro and nodded, "Ya she was out like a light the moment she hit her pillow... What do you guys do that drains her so badly..." Rina got questioning, "I mean sometimes she comes to class with bandages on her neck, arms, and hands so what kind of work are you guys doing at night?" She added queitly since class has started.

"But I can't.. if you ever become a guardian, you'll find out.. and hell maybe one day you'll find out on your own... but you don't need to worry about her saftey.. i'll make sure she's alright.. i'm her guardian after all." He chuckled as he patted her shoulder.

Rina glared over at Kotaro, "You are not doing a very good job if she is always coming to school with bandages everywhere on her body..." Rina said to him. She turned back to the class and started to work on the book work that was assigned on the board. She also was writing the notes at the same time.

╚══════════════╝ Frowned at her words as he pulled up a piece of paper and wrote on it, then pushed it over to her, it said:
You know Yukiko.. she dosn't always 'WANT' to be protected... that's where the delemia comes into place.... she would be in alot worse condition... even...dead. If I wasn't there.
He then went back to doing his notes as he sucked on his tootsie pop.

Rina looked down at the note and read it. She then lifted her head to look over at Kotaro, then wrote back into the note and passed it back to him.
I'm glad you are there because Yukiko is very speical and she needs to be protected.. She has a bright future ahead of her..
Rina finished the book assignment before anyone else and handed it. All there was left to do for her was the lab.

Trust me... she's very special to me to.... i'll die before she does..

Rina took the note and noticed that Kotaro didn't look at her when she read it. She read the note then looked up at him again and a small smile appered but disappered when the teacher called on her, "Rina.. Please tell me the parts of the cell that are important.." The teacher said to her. Rina rolled her eyes but stood up and answered the question without any problems. She was a bit of a smart pants sometimes.

The bell rang, Rina tapped her papers together and made sure all the notes where there. She sighed a bit, "I will have to do Yukiko's clean up work as well..." Rina turned to Kotaro and noticed he was drawing, "HeY!" she said to him as she poked him with the folder that had the notes. "Take this to Yukiko she will need it for the test.. And I am going to go and take care of the cleaning that is assigned to Yukiko." Rina said helding out the notes to him.

Kotaro nodded as he slowly stood up and streched. "Oh alright, I fadded there for a bit." He took the folder and stood up. "Thanks Rina, i'll tell Yukiko you owe her." He smiled and took the stick out of his mouth and tossed it in the garbage. "See you later" He said before leaving the class, heading for Yukiko's room.
