Dhiren's thoughts where not on the tree's passing below, nor where his eyes, but the silver trinket around his necklace was sincerely captivating, his thoughts on its owner. Her voice was vivid in his thoughts, her white coat and colorful mane flashing vividly through his mind.
Bringing himself from his thoughts, he flew lower, realizing anything from his height would look like ants. He also realized that he would loose her scent if he stayed in one direction. His hooves touched the grass in a smooth landing, he trotted a few feet before catching a sweet scent that tickled his nose.
Blue eyes and his ears scanned his new surroundings with interest looking for a certain familiar face or two rambunctious fluffy trouble makers.

 She had cried once she'd realized it was gone; the little winged amulet passed down to her from her father from his father, had fallen off somewhere. It wasn't just that it was from her father, but that it was one of the few things she had to remind her of him since they no longer dwelled in the same area.
She had searched for it for days, going back over her tracks. She wasn't sure when she'd lost it, but had a suspicion it was the day she had met him. The stallion with the long golden curls and sparkling blue eyes. A pain of guilt went through her at the thought of how they'd met. Her little kitten Fancy had gotten tangled in his tail. She couldn't be mad at the kitten though, it was her familiar Carson who had been chasing her. Shania thought back to that day and the brief time she had known Dhiren. She still hoped they might cross paths again someday, but doubted that fate would befall her.
She had spent the morning grazing quietly in a small clearing, her mind thinking through things, and planning to search again for her pendant later that afternoon. Fancy and Carson slept under a bush nearby, out of trouble for once. She smiled at them, happy they were her constant companions.

Dhiren's trinkets softly clinked together as his movements jostled them. The amulet around his necklace bounced merrily against him and he brought his gaze to it, hoping that he might happen upon its owner in the near future. It would be wonderful to return her trinket to her, it was possible she was missing it terribly. he knew if he lost any of his he would be sorely disappointed in himself.
Pressing on he unfurled his wings to stretch and shake them out and any loose feathers off or back into place and folded them neatly back to his side. Every once and a while he would catch a scent that seemed familiar to him and would follow it, only for it to be lost again. He was beginning to think he had no sense of direction when the scent hit him again, as did a sight beyond the trees he was passing. He did a double take, just to make certain it was her, and from this distance he was fairly certain. Black, white, rainbow and lovely, how could it not be her? He grinned to himself and began looking for a decent gap in the trees which to pass between.

She returned to her grazing, her mind dwelling on days passed and small regrets she had. The sun above warmed her so that mixed with the quiet sounds, she started to doze.
A soft swishing and crunching of leaves and twigs nearby woke her from her light sleep. Startled awake by the noise, she raised her head quickly, feeling a little dizzy at the sudden movement. She searched for the source of the noise, alarmed that it could be a predator, and ready to awaken her companions and flee. Pink eyes scanned the area and sharp ears listened intently for any danger. Feeling less alarmed, and hoping it was only a small animal nearby, she relaxed a bit, and shook herself, adjusting her wings, mane and tail.
As she preened her feathers, she heard the sound again. Her attention again was drawn to the surrounding area, her eyes scanning again, catching a glimpse of something golden through the leaves. She caught the scent of something...or someone...familiar on the air, but couldn't quite determine what or who it was. Cautious, but friendly, she called into the forest. "Hello?"

Dhiren was having a right fun time trying to get through the tree's. When finally he found an opening wide enough he emerged half way, only to have his beads catch a branch. He sighed, slightly exasperated, before backing up and unhooking it and trying again, this time making it through to see Shania. He grinned. "Hello, Shania."
Trotting closer, excited to see her again, he bent to lift her trinket up, still grinning. "I think you dropped this."

As the rustling grew nearer, she could see a small blue feather bouncing above the tops of some branches. That feather looked very familiar. Then she saw who the feather belonged to and smiled warmly. She couldn't believe that she was seeing him again. "Greetings Dhiren. It's lovely to see you again," she said as he walked closer to her.
"What brings y-" her voice caught in her throat as she saw what he was carrying. Relief and elation spread through her every fiber. "Oh, thank you Dhiren. I've been worrying myself crazy wondering what happened to it. Where ever did you find that?" She stepped closer and examined the trinket, unaware of how close she was to him.
She looked up from the trinket to find herself nose to nose with the stallion, their faces only inches from each other. She stared into his soft green (?) eyes and was lost. She felt such gratitude towards the stallion for finding the medallion. A bright, warm smile grew from her lips, reaching her eyes. "Thank you, Dhiren. You have no idea how much this means to me." With those words, she leaned forward and kissed the stallion lightly on the nose.

Dhiren was feeling so particularly pleased by this point to have found Shania that he was positively beaming when they reached each other."Shania, I can't tell you how positively relieved to have found you again." It made him happier still when she was pleased to see her trinket, as he suspected it had been important, if he was judging her words and reactions correctly. "You dropped it in your haste to chase after Fancy and Carson."
Dhiren met her light pink eyes with his green ones and his breath caught in the realization that their noses were almost touching, he could feel her warm breath on his muzzle and watched her face come closer and he watched as she placed a delicate kiss on his nose. His belly did a sort of flop and he was sure his heart skipped a beat or two in that moment. He cleared his throat, blushing furiously. "You're welcome, Shania."

Suddenly she felt shy, and took a step back, hiding her eyes under her hair. "I- I'm so glad you found it- me again." She paused to steady herself. "What I mean is, I would have been elated to see you again, with or without you having found my trinket. Thank you, again. I couldn't even fathom where it could have gotten lost. I've been searching for days."
Feeling less shy now, she gracefully shook her mane from in front of her eyes, and smiled at the sweet stallion. "I wasn't doing anything, but would you like to join me? Perhaps we could go for a walk?" She asked, not wanting him to leave. "We left things in such a hurry the last time, I just want the chance to get to know you more."
