I had a book about sleep pillows, that gave instructions on how to make little fabric bags containing different recipes of dried herbs, that you could tuck in your pillowcase. It was a form of aromatherapy, with different recipes that invigorated, soothed, promoted creativity, and so forth. Hops was one of the favorite ingredients. That was supposed to give you amazing dreams.
I had one filled with lavender, peppermint, cloves, oregano, and basil, if I remember correctly...I really did like it, but it eventually burst and I had to clean up all the little bits. xD
Has anyone else tried this?

I've always meant to try this, but I've just never gotten around to it. Unfortunately, my sewing machine is packed away right now. What kind of material did you use? I was always skeptical of how well the scent would get through the cloth if I used something besides cheesecloth, and I worry that cheesecloth would leak little bits of herb dust, lol.
Although, I have found some reusable drawstring tea bags that might do well if I tied off the drawstring so they wouldn't leak. ( Cotton Muslin Tea Bags --they're the second one down.) Do you think those would work?

I used cotton, about 5" x 4", stuffed loosely. The scent wasn't strong, but it does come out through layers of cloth eventually. And since your head is near it all night, you don't want it too strong anyway.
I believe drawstring teabags would work, but you might have to use more than one. You could always inclose those in a cheesecloth bag, if you wanted to keep them together.
