Simply put: not too wealthy, not too poor families live here. Benders overtake this area three to one. This is the largest area of the city, so there are still quite a bit of non-bending families that do live here. The most crime does happen in this part of the City, but that is just because it is so large. People here can be snobby, but most are down-to-earth (not just the earthbenders) and know how to keep it real.

Rashir FenrickI could be a calm candle light....Rashir took a stroll through the streets, katana on his hip with his arm resting on it. He took in the scenery like he always did as he walked through the city. He noticed a neighbor trying to light their grill to start a barbecue, but couldn't get it to light. He walked over and politely said, "Let me get that for you," With a point and a snap, a small fire shot out of his finger and ignited the grill. The man smiled, "Thank you Rashir. It's a good thing I have such a nice firebender as a neighbor. All I would be able to do is put out the fire." Rashir smiled, "Glad I could help. We've been neighbors all my life. I kinda felt obligated to." His neighbor smiled wider, "Come back in a little while and I might have some of my famous Arctic Hen for ya." "Will do. See ya later!" He gave a wave and continued his stroll through the city. I wonder what team we're gonna face today, he thought as he caught glimpse of the PBL arena off in the distance. ...or I could be the flames of disaster

Xane ran through the middle class section stealing from very cart in sight. Around those parts she was known as the; Wanted Cart Thief. She didn't really shot for the name but it didn't matter. Just as long as she didn't get caught. She stuffed what food she grabbed in her side bag continuing on. She glanced back when she heard the sirens go off, announcing there was trouble in the city. The female turned a corner gliding through one of the many alley ways through out the city. She could already hear the metal benders of the police force coming after her. She couldn't use her earth bending in such a narrow setting, so if she didn't make it to an opening quick she would be toast.

Rashir Fenrick I could be a calm candle light....Rashir heard the sirens go off and turned his attention to the girl he saw running through the city. He blasted fire from his feet to jump the buildings and land on the opposite side of the alley she had turned down. He landed with his arms crossed. "It's about time I came across you," he said with a serious face, "This here is the good part of the city, and I don't appreciate people like you stealing from those who don't deserve it." He slightly leaned forward, "Now why don't you tell me why you choose to steal instead of ask kindly for some food?"...or I could be the flames of disaster

Xane skidded to a stop when a boy at the end of the alley way stopped her. He asked why she would choose this path when he didn't even know she. She shook her head and decided it was now or never. The male was in an open part so it was safe to do her bending. She may have been a thief but she was still concerned about the safe of others. She slammed her foot down creating an earth wall in front of the fire bender then pushed back. Once there was a space between her and him she slipped out of the alley way, running down the street.
She needed to get near the park and over the bridge to be home free. Some of the metal benders shot wires after her to tie her up. She evaded them as best as she could. Some of the wires nicked her skin making small cuts. The bender wouldn't let that slow her down though. She lifted her hands up creating a moving earth shield.

Rashir Fenrick I could be a calm candle light....Rashir jumped back as the wall of earth was moved towards him. He noticed that the thief had not been trying to actually harm anyone. Hm, he thought, I think I understand now. He ran after her, getting low and leaning forward to cut down on wind resistance and pick up speed. "Listen," he said as he ran up close to her, "You just need something to eat don't you? You don't want to hurt anyone, you just want to fill your stomach. I can help you." He looked back at the metalbenders following the two of them and back to her, "Honestly I can."...or I could be the flames of disaster

"I can't believe I'm late!" Amaya whined, rushing down the streets, pulling her ebony hair into a messy bun. Her quick pace slowed as she reached a street corner. Hesitantly, she looked around. "Wonderful," Amaya thought, her eyes scanning for any familiarity, "I took a wrong turn." She was scatterbrained, and Republic City was huge. The fire bender only remembered which way she needed to take to go to work and back, and of course, a few shops a long the way. It wasn't her city, and it was only natural she felt like an invalid in it. "Someone...Anyone..." Amaya whispered to herself, searching the crowd for someone she recognized or could easily talk to. "Excuse me, ma'am, I was wondering..." Ignored. "Sir, sir! I just need to know how to get to..." Shouldered aside. "Mister, I just need help–" Pushed to the ground. "That is it!" Amaya got to her feet, fuming now as she dusted off her uniform. Was everyone around here this rude? A sound caught her ear; a sound she could recognize a mile away. Fire. Rushing fire. That must mean another fire bender was nearby. She caught sight of the man, using his powers to propel himself upward. If she wasn't wearing her short uniform, she would've gladly followed. Turquoise eyes targeted him. "Alright, Ami, let's go." Amaya murmured to herself, darting through the crowd to find him. She wormed her way through the swarm of people and down an ally, nearly tripping into it. "Excuse me!" Amaya called after him, rushing now, not wanting to lose someone who obviously knew there way around. "Please, I just...Wait!" Amaya came to a stop in the alley, right beside a wall of earth. The other fire bender was gone. A small curse escaped her lips. She nervously ran a hand through her hair, which had come out from the bun and rested to the small of her back in shiny tresses. Amaya was lost. With a shaky sigh, she continued down the alley, shaken at the idea of now being completely astray. [exit]

"Fine, whatever you say, just help." She said lifting up pieces of earth to slow down the police force. She could see the bridge not to far away. She was even willing to jump for it, which she was actually about to do until wires wrapped around her legs. She fell to the ground with a thud and began to get dragged towards them. She tried to grabbed chunks of earth but couldn't get them in enough time. The blonde's armor clanged against the ground, making dents and scratches. Her armor was the only thing left to her and to hear it grind against the ground basically tore a hole in her heart. She reached her arm out to the fire bender for help.

Rashir Fenrick I could be a calm candle light....Rashir stopped and turned as the girl was dragged back by the metal benders. He ran back and held up a hand to stop them. "I go this one guys," he told them and picked the girl up off the ground. He put his mouth close to her ear so only she could hear, "Let them take you in. I'll pay for your bail and I'll get you some good food. It won't take that long. I promise." He then turned back to the police, holding her arm so she wouldn't run, "Another thief off the streets. Glad I could help guys." One came over and grabbed her arm from him, slightly jerking her, "Nice work, and good luck in your next Pro-bending match." Rashir gave a grin, "Thank you, officer." As they pulled her away, he gave her the "Don't worry" look and mouthed the word "Soon" meaning she would spend an hour tops in her jail cell. ...or I could be the flames of disaster

The blonde was saved of course, thanks to the pro bender. She listened to his plan but he just didn't get it. The food wasn't for her but some orphanage children in the lower district of town. Although, she didn't get a chance to explain sense everything happened with in a flash. She was handed over to the enemy just like that. She glanced back at the boy with a face of worry trying to struggle from the metal benders.
She was thrown into a cell on one of the top floors, in the police felicity. She sighed leaned against the wall in frustration. Starving kids were waiting for her and she was stuck behind bars. She was really losing her touch. Xane paced around the prison waiting for the male to show up. She was still confused as to why a bender such as himself would help her. She was nothing but a low life criminal even though none of it was for her own needs. Others just saw her as someone out for themselves. The girl kicked up some dust becoming more and more impatient.

Rashir Fenrick I could be a calm candle light....Rashir walked into the police station soon after the "thief" was taken in. "How's it going, Chief?" he said as he walked in. The police chief looked at him with the look she gives everyone, the dead mean face. "What do you want kid?" His expression changed to that of a confused 10 year old, "Come on. Can't I just say 'Hi?' Well actually, It's the thief that had just been apprehended. She's a good friend of mine. I'm here to post her bail." Lin raised an eyebrow, "Really? Well since it was just cart theft and nothing too big...100 gold pieces."In the back of his mind, Rashir went crazy and felt like slamming his head up against a wall, while in reality, he kept his cool knowing she would have given such a high bail price. he pulled out a sack of gold pieces and placed it on her desk, "There's a little extra in there for you for doing such a good job at keeping our streets clean." Lin took the bag, opened it, and signaled for the guards to release the girl to Rashir. They went up to her cell and opened it. "Your bail has been posted," the guard said to her as he opened it, "You're lucky you have a well known friend."...or I could be the flames of disaster

Xane lifted her head, seeing a man open up her cell. She nodded to his question as she walked out of her cage. She looked at the boy then walked past him assuming he would follow her out. Her bag of food was handed back to her on the way out and thank God it was still fresh. She smiled in relief and turned to the boy. "Thanks, for bailing me out and all. Oh by the way, name's Xane." She said powering walking towards the lower-class district. She needed to get there before the food got to cold.

Rashir Fenrick I could be a calm candle light....Rashir came back into the Middle-classed Section of town, still helping Xane walk by holding her one arm over his shoulder. "How you holdin' up there?" he asked as he continued back towards his house. The people in his neighborhood noticed that Xane fit the description of the cart thief, and gave confused looks as he helped her through town. "Don't mind them. Once they get to know you, they'll all be nice people."...or I could be the flames of disaster

Xane nodded with a small smirk trying to be cool. "Yeah, I'm cool. I've been in a lot worse scraps than this." She replied, although she looked exhausted as ever. She lifted her head to see the family examining her strangely. They must have recognized her from all of the wanted posters around the sector. Again, she was being judged by people who barely knew her. "I...think I should leave. I don't want to freak these people out." She said in a depressive tone trying to turn the Rashir around.
