Name: Melanie Age: 17 Bio: Born unable to breath fresh air she has been living in a box her whole life. Scientists worked around the clock to try and cure her or make it so she could live outside. The best they have been able to do was a devise that creates a barrier around her. Pic:  Name: Vincent Age: 21 Bio: Vincent was the son of a scientist, and he was raised to study in medicine and grew up around the hospitals. He considered himself knowledgable about medicine and healing, but he was still in school when he met someone peculiar pic:

Vincent sighed to himself and looked through the medical books, trying to memorize certain medicines for a patient he was helping a doctor with in the hospital when an alarm rang out that sounded like an air raid siren. he gasped and hurried to the wall when patients and doctors and nurses were rushing out of the building in a panic

Melanie looked up from her small room when the alarm sounded. She gasped and looked at the doctors, "Wait! Help me!" She called watching them all run away.

vincent was on his way out too until he heard her voice. he looked to to the small room "hello? is someone still in here?" he called in as he started opening the door

Melanie looked up and rushed to the door of her closed in bubble, "Hello! Sir! Help me! Everyone ran off when the alarm sounded! I can't leave!" She yelled.

he looked around at her bubble and bit his lip before turning to see the device. he began to tinker with it and pushed it through a slot for her room "try this on. this device can create a barrier around the body but it's still experimental"

Melanie took it and nodded softly. Putting on the belt then wrist bands she turned it on gasping when a barrier formed around her. Taking a deep breath she opened the door and walked out of her room smiling when it worked.

he smiled and held onto her hand with the barrier, leading her away outside to find a vehicle to get out of the town "just stay with me okay?" he nodded and looked up seeing jets fly by

Melanie grabbed onto a stuffed bear before she followed after him. Gasping she looked up at the sky and the jets, "Who knew that my first time out of here would be in an emergency...." She said softly.

"well whatever it is, we're not staying" he nodded and set her in the car before driving off with her, looking around at the frantic families running to their cars with their children, pets or other things but he stopped seeing a CDC truck "what. . .?"

Melanie sat in the car not actually touching anything. Seeing the truck she blinked, "Wh-what is that?" She asked softly.

"center for disease control. . .come on, we're leaving this town all together." he began driving quickly to try and head out, taking any street he could to get out of the town "if they're here then something is definetly wrong"

Melanie bit her lip watching the town pass by. Finally she looked at her bear before looking to him, "Thank you for getting me out.... when the alarm went they just ran..."

"they were afraid. why though I have no idea" he nodded and held onto the wheel tighter as he finally got her out of the town. he sighed in relief and turned to see gates closing "what's your name?"

Melanie blinked looking in the back mirror seeing the gates. She then looked to him, "Melanie...Whats yours?" She asked.
